I am eating at panda express and I have to say I have never been more disturbed by a panda express location in my entire life. First of all they had cleaning supplies for sweeping and mopping out in the open located next to the door in between a garbage container and a strange utensil which looks like it was invented for large quantities of rice as opposed to smashing garbage down in the can while customers are sitting right there eating deplorable is not the word. This type of behavior would not be tolerated in a health department inspection situation. The staff seemed oblivious ILL trained and the food was bland not portioned correctly and was not prepared according to the panda express recipe book. I could go on and on I am sorry. Give panda express any more than one star would just seem like the wrong thing to do only because this is the third time I have given this location a chance and each time I have been more disappointed than the last. Whoever is in charge or whoever owns this location needs to go and eat at other panda express is to see the difference especially in the food.

Food is good here. Love that they have shrimp available for pescetarians. Store is clean and so is bathroom. Love that they offer samples. Staff is courteous too. Nice part of town. Good place to meet for business or with friends.

Came here to order some beef and broccoli and looks like they only have me 2 strips of beef with the high price you would think they would put a little more

LOOOOOOOONG lines on Friday 9⁄18 at 11:55am. Bring your iPad and a movie. No chow mein, 7 minutes for Teri Chicken. Multiple trays empty. Seem very unprepared for a lunch rush for food sitting under a heat lamp. Not coming back

Do not come here for lunch time unless you want to wait in the line for the duration of your lunch break because they have the worst service I’ve seen in any Panda Express. Food is ok however the portions are very small in this location.

One of the male cashiers screwed up my order TWICE! If he had put on his LISTENINGSKILLS he would have heard me correctly. I ordered a bigger plate with fried rice as one of my items and he gives me brown rice instead. Get it together dude and LISTEN!

This place was disgusting the doors and floors were all dirty. Glad I didn’t have to go to the bathroom. I bet that would’ve been dirty to. Seemed like the staff was semi friendly. I really wasn’t said hello to. The food was ok, not great. At least we didn’t get sick off of it. The outside was cleaner than the inside. It got one star otherwise it wouldn’t let me post.

I always go to Panda Express in Burbank. Love their food and service this Panda Express service is Horrible probably worst Panda Express in town. They served us cold food. I told manager on duty Mario my food was cold. Manager doesn’t speak English and didn’t understand. Don’t recommend this place.

This Panda Express is always clean the staff here is very professional only downside is I always find myself waiting for the grilled teriyaki chicken because they never have any left which is a bit disappointing considering I do not go when it is packed.

Now I know why they have like no stars. Customer service is horrible. These people don’t even know how to smile. But besides that the food was good. Its kind of busy so stuff is coming out fresh. The location is big and I love that it has a big parking lot. I literally came to this one cause I couldn’t find parking at the one by my house. I took off one star cause the guy in front doesn’t even greet you, not even a hello. Food was great and the ice tea was even better. They really should hire some friendly people.

Panda Express is okay fast food for what it is. Place is clean, busy, and quick with service. The parking situation is kinda small and not really enough spaces. Location is off a busy street.

Sometimes I just want some fast cheap Chinese food that consistently tastes like what I expect from a chain. A girl cannot live solely on organic, wild caught, raw food and needs a little MSG once in a while. Standard chow mein, generic fried rice, chicken mushroom, beef broccoli etc. Some pandas are better than others and this one was definitely in the ‘better’ category. I’m rating it 4 stars comparing against other chafing dish ‘to-go’ ready made chinese places. The girl working the counter was super nice and gave everyone any requested samples, and food that wasn’t already cooked in the warming dishes was made fresh, quick and hot. Was very clean too. I have no complaints!

I walked in an there was no chow mein. I had to wait behind another customer until it was ready. The server, who was not wearing gloves, used tongs to scoop the chow mein, and then places the tongs INCLUDINGTHEHANDLE, on top of the chow mein. This is very unsanitary. It is as though he scooped the noodles with his fingers. I ordered the 2 entrée 1 side option, and the total came to around $ 18. The price on the menu was under $ 7. I reiterated what I wanted, and they seemed surprised. «Oh, you want one plate!?» Yes, I want what I ordered on the menu behind your head. I was going to order a drink but he rang me up before I had the opportunity. I wasn’t in the mood for another transaction. Steer clear of here, find a neighborhood Ma and Pa Chinese place that you like and give them your patronage.

I have just about had enough of this location. First of all my definition of a fast food restaurant is a place that serves food in under 7 minutes. This particular location hasn’t grasped that concept yet. Whenever I visit I find there is always a wait for items that are clearly on the menu. Why is that? I understand some items are more popular than others, but come on this shouldn’t be happening all the time. I also find the portion size isn’t consistent from one server to the next. If you ask for more get ready for an attitude.

Went in to buy dinner just now. All the counter people ignored me. They did greet someone behind me who was a regular. Waited about three minutes, no one approached me to take my order or anyone’s order. I asked a question about the steam vegetables and they ignored me. I just left.

This place doesn’t even deserve a single star. I can see why the ratings are low. LOLO had the WORST attitude. Luckily this isn’t Disney, she’d have been fired a long time ago. We witnessed her get an attitude with more than 2 customers in the 20 minutes we waited in the line and let’s not forget to mention she also sassed her co worker for putting her off the line when he noticed her getting frustrated with a customer. Their signs were misleading causing confusion among the foreigners. Kung Pao chicken had a sign for Mushroom chicken. She gave attitude to a young kid and said,“sir that’s not mushroom chicken it’s Kung Pao chicken” when clearly the sign said it was otherwise. I was nice enough to change the signage for them seeing how busy they were and she snapped at me and changed it back to the misleading signage. RUDE&SLOWSERVICE The worst place to eat at here at Universal City Walk. Never again and I don’t recommend it to the world.

Disgusting. The orange chicken is always hard and tastes like garbage compared to other locations. Same with the walnut shrimp. They also tend to Identify the oldest gnarliest item they have that you ordered and load you up with that nasty item, taking up all the space they can, and then give you hardly any of the fresher items that you will absolutely have to wait for. That’s the thing. This location must be owned by a real cheapskate. They never like to cook much of the food, and therefore most of the pans will be empty or near empty. The items will be cold and disgusting. You will absolutely have to wait for one thing or another every time. Especially if you want the food to be hot. But the problem is… Fresh items also taste off. They might be purposefully leaving out certain(maybe more expensive?) ingredients or maybe the cooking equipment is bad. Whatever the cause, this food tastes like garbage. I KNOW how good this stuff can be. If you’re going to eat this shit and take on the massive amount or calories, it should at least taste good. Lastly, the employees view the customer as the enemy and they play a game with your food. The game often changes but the rules are always the same: screw the customer. Small portions, bad ratios of food in servings, and always serve the coldest nastiest garbage first and make sure it takes up as much space as possible. Avoid this location at all costs. Drive another 20 yards and get in and out. Save Panda Express for when you’re near a different location.

Chances are if you’ve been to any other Panda Express, you’ve been to this one. For better or worse, I would say Panda Express is one of the more consistent franchise/chain restaurants in terms of uniformity of dining experience. Having to been to several Panda Express locations in LA County, I would say you can pretty much expect the same outcome at each one: you pick your items, you give them money, and they quickly give you«Chinese» food that is filling in portion size, affordable in price, and(on average) somewhere between«godawful» and«outf***ingstanding» in taste and texture. Pretty straightforward, no? I am incredibly lazy and a creature of habit, so I like to stop at this particular Panda Express if I happen to be working in the area and need a quick bite to eat, as there is usually either a short line or no line at all, they always have plenty of free parking, as well as ample seating inside. Your mileage may vary depending on the day/time you choose to eat here. Maybe I’ve just been incredibly lucky, but I cannot recall ever coming in and seeing my preferred menu item trays empty. To be fair though, it probably helps that I usually just get chow mein, orange chicken, and whatever 3rd item that happens to catch my fancy that given night. Yes, *I know* you can get better(and«real») Chinese food elsewhere(Sam Woo on Valley and Golden City Seafood Restaurant in Chinatown both come to mind). That point is moot — we’re comparing apples and oranges here. An objective comparison would be Panda Express and any other fast-casual location serving Americanized Chinese food. In that context, Panda Express actually rates very favorably — all the other restaurants within that category(that I’ve eaten at) pretty much serve food that is significantly more unpalatable than what you can expect to get at Panda Express. I can think of maybe only 1 that was on-par with(or better than) Panda Express. Obviously, if you’re looking for the best damned Chinese food you can buy, common sense dictates that you should not go to *any* Panda Express, as that’s not the apex and archetype that their business model strives to reach for. However, if you’re short on time(and money) and want a quick & filling meal, you could do a LOT worse than Panda Express, and they are conveniently all over the place — particularly in areas where one is not likely to find any more viable options for«Chinese» food nearby.
