Food is pretty good! Employees totally suck! They’re all so miserable and hating their lives. The dudes there are nice BUT the girls are awful! The typically«I partied too hard last night» attitude along with the poop face looks. Where’s management? If you see this, hire new girls! Good customer service is key! NOMORE poop faced brats!

The place is really nice with fun games that anyone could use to play a quick game when grabbing food or waiting for the food. The street wrap was really good, I got it with chicken. I recommend this place if your near it!

Spitz is my all time favorite restaurant!!! Seriously this place never fails with service and the food. My boyfriend and I come here at least twice a week. Street cart fries or even a salad, wraps, you name it. it’s all good and we have never had a bad meal. It’s perfect every time and we are slightly obsessed :) The staff is also spot on. They make you feel at home! Garlic aioli is the best I’ve ever had and the sangria is also amazing! If you could open one up in Orange County since we are moving my heart would be full. Going to miss spitz so much!

Spice Wrap, I think that’s what it’s called, is phenomenal. Chicken, lamb and beef and just the right amount of spice makes the perfect Mediterranean meal. The actual wrap is very thin, which keeps it lite!

I love Spitz period. Doesn’t matter which one I go to, I already know that the food is going to be top notch and flavorful. I’ve been to the one on Hillhurst and the one in Eagle Rock, it was now time to try this place. They have metered street parking and a lot that looks generous. There are other Spitz locations where parking is such a pain, I was happy to see that it wasn’t the case here. I decided to get the Doner basket. When I tried to make conversation with the gal that I was ordering to, she was either having a bad day or really hates her job. The place is so modern and nice looking and it wasn’t too packed so I can’t imagine why she’d hate working there. She just wasn’t warm or nice at all. I asked her how to pronounce Doner and she answered in a similar tone to «Beuller…Beuller». Not the most pleasant first impression at all. In any case, I got my Doner basket with chicken and it didn’t disappoint and it never does. My friend got the zesty Doner wrap, and my other gal pal got a basket of sweet potato fries and another basket of garbanzo beans, which are always such a hit! Dipping sauces never disappoint either. There seems to be a lot of places to sit there but I can imagine during high traffic times, seating could be difficult. We really enjoyed the«have you ever» card game that they had at our table. We enjoyed playing as we ate and had a lot of laughs.

Wow really great doner wraps — and I’m not usually a big wrap person. Enjoyed the doner pommes which had french fries in it — and the garlic aioli was very tasty. I liked the pita since it was thinner and a bit crispier than your normal pita wrap. Their sweet potato fries are the best… tasty and crispy even without the yummy sauces you get on the side. The regular fries are good too — crisped to perfection. Tried the street car fries and thought there was a bit too much going on in there — think I would prefer just the regular fries with some dipping sauces on the side. Place can get a bit loud if there’s lots of people there, and if you have a big group, they have long bar tables you can sit at. Parking is in a tiny lot behind and along side the restaurant.

I’ve been going to spitz for several years now and they never fail me. I try to limit myself to visit this place once a year because of the amount of food I consume. My usual is the doner with pommes made spicy with a a side of street cart fries. Every bite of the sandwich is delicious and the steet cart fries have the perfect amount of Mediterranean toppings you can think of. Come hungry, because it’s very filling, and make sure you don’t have plans afterwards, because you just want a couch to sit on.

This place is amazing. I wish we had one closer to home. During a conference, my whole committee of over 20 people came here to eat and they were incredibly accommodating. This did not affect the quality of their food either. On the day of departure, I literally ran to Spitz, got a wrap to-go and inhaled it while operating a vehicle. IFYOUDON’T GETFRIESINYOURWRAPWYD

My daughter took me here for lunch and it was a great experience. We shared the spicy doner wrap with your choice of meat. We chose the vegetarian flafel. The ingredients are fresh and very flavorful. The chili sauce and pepperoncinis gave it the perfect amount of heat. We also shared the street cart fries. We chose half sweet potato waffle fries and half regular fries which were seasoned perfectly. The fries very amazing. I would definitely be back.

I was at spitz the day they opened in eagle rock. It was my shiz. I ate there several times a week for months. ZESTYFETADONERMIXEDMEAT. Then I stopped working in eagle rock and only made it out every other month or so. So I was so happy they opened in Studio City. I’ve been probably 7 – 8 times and I’m not sure if it’s me or not, but the eagle rock location seemed to make better sandwiches. At ER my sandwich was great every time. In SC it’s hit or miss. Never«bad» but not always«great.» I still love Spitz and their unique sandwiches and apps.

Stopped in one day after work. Got the Berlin Donner with Sweet potato fried. it was awesome. Lots of food. I had half for dinner, and save half for lunch the next day. The sweet potatoe fries were freshly made. Very yummy. When I got there, the place was packed and most of the tables were taken. I sat on the patio, and they turned on the heat lamps.

This place deserves no less than three stars. The décor is great with indoor & outdoor seating, there is parking in the back or plentiful street meters and the service is very friendly(at least the gal behind the counter who was there today was). I have zero complaints. I will also state that the food is very fresh and made to order and they have a nice selection of beers on tap, wine and sangria(none of which I tried). It really is a cool little joint. However, even with all of the above said, I doubt I’ll be returning. It’s just not my thang. It’s too much, too rich, too many flavors at once. And I came here after a long hike starving, which meant I thought ordering the combo of a wrap with a side of Berliner fries was a good idea. Nope. I hated the fries. Look, I get it — and all of it was good, just too much good, too much flavor and not for me. The doner was also too much and I personally didn’t like the Lavash bread(not a fan of it anyway), so I ended up removing the bread and eating the innards in the basket with the fries. Yikes! Flavor explosion in my mouth and not in a good way. I ended up leaving most of it in the basket, just picking out the chicken and salad that I could. I should have ordered a salad and been done with it. If you are scratching your head at this review, don’t. Just go try this place as you may enjoy it as much as the other customers there today seemed to be enjoying it.

The best. Great food. Chicken street doner, street fries and an iced tea. More parking than the Eagle Rock location. Good service.

Spitz is one of my favorite places for döner sandwiches in LA. They have a few restaurants around LA, but this is one of the better locations because they have plenty of parking and a lot of tables. You can play games while you wait for your food; I played some Connect 4. The interior design is pretty cool too, if you’re into that kind of stuff. I always get the street cart döner sandwich with sweet potato fries. It comes out to about $ 15 after tax, which is a bit pricy, but it is definitely worth it. The meat is juicy(not dry like a lot of döner places) and the ingredients are fresh. I also love the chipotle sauce that comes with the sweet potato fries. If you want some relatively cheap, delicious, and filling food, then you need to check this place out. I highly recommend it.

So, this was my first time being at this place and everything looked so good… soon as I walked I seen these massive salads that people were eating on the patio and inside. This place is a Mediterranean cuisine. they have a picks from beef & lamb, chicken or the vegetarian wraps/sandwiches. you can also chose from a salad menu with the same meat/vegetarian choices. Instead of serving lettuce inside the wrap it is paired with red cabbage, which wouldn’t be my first choice but is surprisingly refreshing. I have no doubt that 2 people could share a single wrap and a small basket of fries for lunch. I even believe you could share it on for dinner as well. There fries are RIDICULOUSLY good… the have a slightly sweet and savory hint to them accompanied by this smoky Chipotle dipping sauce.

I love Spitz. I keep forgetting how much I like it. Luckily this new Universal City location is easier to get to for this valley girl than Eagle Rock and Little Tokyo. Parking is pretty easy on Cahuenga and there is a small lot too. There is plenty of seating inside, of the communal persuasion as well as a few tables. THere is also a pretty solid patio that can accommodate about 8 parties of 2. The street cart doner is a solid choice. I think the lamb/beef is the way to go, as the chicken wasn’t as flavorful. The street cart fries are insanely sinful and delicious. My new favorite thing on the menu though is the doquitos. OMG. Lavash deep fried taco smotherred in all kinds of mediterranean goodness. What’s not to love? Order it, thank me later. Overall, solid casual lunch spot.

Mediterranean food cravings? Fast food cravings? Perfect spot to head to. FOOD/SERVICE: Speedy service. Especially for dining in. Enough wait time to chit chat but not overdone where mood swings start to occur because your hunger takes over. Ordered the doner wrap & split the street cart fries with my friend. The wrap is great– Soft wrap, tender meats, crunchy vegetables. The fries are my favorite! A bit on the spicier side with enough yellow peppers but so savory! Colorful joint with quite a few events on certain nights. If you’re up for trivia night? They have it. Board games if you’re just snacking. Few but not a bad section for beers on draft. Enjoyyy! Heads up(s): — You’re by the corporate side of universal so lunch hours 12:00 — 1:00PM on weekdays can be a peak hour. — Lot parking is minimal.

BESTMEDITERRANEANFOODIVEHAD!!! this spot is better than the little tokyo location(although even prices raised everywhere or this spot is a little more pricier)! flavors are on point and i left full!!! good amount of parking on the street or in the back of the restaurant! super great place for photos because of the awesome décor. also they have a great happy hour and its a super cool place to have lunch or dinner with a friend or even a date! super cool space. come in and order at the front and get your letter card and sit wherever your heart desires! now to the important stuff, THEFOOD(my apologizes i forgot to save the prices for each! but I’ve included an estimate of what i believe it cost!): –street cart doner w/lamb wrap($ 9?) — ugh SOOOOOGOOOD!!! i recommend getting any street cart done but especially the lamb. so tasty and really fills you up! all the veggies taste fresh and the colors are vibrant. like the person who came up with this wrap was a genius. FIRSTTIMER??? get this = no regrets :) –street cart fries($ 6.50?) — BOMBBBB, they do give less here in comparison to the little tokyo spot but dude you can’t go wrong! there was so much and we were so full we didn’t finish them all. the only down fall is that with all the sauces and topping it can get soggy but honestly REALLY amazing fries here and a MUST get! if only i knew this was so close to my work i would have gotten this for lunch all the time! COMINGBACKSOONSPITZZZ :)

This was our first time here. I drive past Spitz all the time and been wanted to try it out, and I have to say it was petty good. Spitz is located right across the street from Arco gas station and the Panda Express on Cahuenga. PARKING: They have parking in the back of the restaurant or street. SERVICE: The service was friendly and helpful. FOOD: Street Cart Fries«The Works«w /Lamb. Portion was good enough for two. Everything was freshly made. The fries were nice crispy and hot. This dish had a ton of flavor going on. The zesty feta was fantastic. Just one problem. Just what Joseph A. said the lamb meat had a fantastic flavor, but it was dry. Other than that an all around solid dish. Doner Salad w/Lamb. It’s pretty much almost the same as the Street Cart Fries, but without the fries . Overall we did enjoyed our lunch here, and looking forward on coming back to try out their happy hour.
