The best Mediterranean in the area! Mom and pop place. Their daughter is the only waitress. Tiny place with prices that are obscenely reasonable. LOVE the half filet/half chicken plate. Comes with Lettuce, Tomato, Bulgar and Hummus. I like to get the garlic sauce on the side as well. Soooo Goood! Warning: they are only open weekdays until 8 and get full during lunch around 1!

Very cute place. Wanted to treat my friend to something special and this is where he chose. It was my first time, not his. I had the gyro plate and he chose the falafel. It is a small hole in the wall and fills up fast. Street parking is a little tricky. You will be rewarded inside to good food and service with a smile.

Tried the vegetarian platter, it was SO good. The only downside was the hummus wasn’t the best and service was a little slow for such a small place. Falafel was one of the best I’ve had!

Probably the best Mediterranean food I have ever had and served with a smile to boot! Food was flavorful without being overbearing and tasted super fresh. Major added bonus is it’s a small, local(for me), family owned business. So awesome and yummy, I can’t wait to come back!

Great food But, be warned that you will need 1 ½ to 2 hours to eat here, because the service is that slow. The last time I was here it took 1 hour for the soup to come out before the meal arrived at 1hr 15 min after we ordered. The second time it took 45 min for the soup to arrive, upon which we asked for the rest of our order to go to avoid repeating the last experience. The food here is really good and really fresh but with nothing on the table after an hour and the slow service, it’s just not worth the wait.

This is a great workday lunch spot. Never too crowded. The food is consistently delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. The prices are just right. And I’m always back to the office in time for the rest of my day. I also always try to go for their daily specials(something I do at most restaurants). The specials at Arde’s have always been worthwhile.

This place is so cute and cozy. The service is great and food is authentic. I love the mom and pop vibe it has and how welcoming it is. I really love it plus it is well priced as opposed to some mediterranean restaurants in the area! Must go place!!! and now that I think about it I should go this weekend :)

I loved this place. It’s very small and we were the only ones there on a Tuesday night. The decoration is so cute and the food was great. I got the kibbe(I know them as kubbe) plate with bulgur pilaf and side of hummus. I was so excited to see a kibbe/kubbe since I hadn’t seen them on a menu in years, I don’t go to these kind of restaurants a lot. The whole thing was delicious, especially the hummus. I was worried there wouldn’t be enough food but I had enough for leftovers. I recommend it.

Almost everyone is a regular. My wife and I have been meeting here for lunch for a few years and really enjoy the friendly atmosphere and yummy food. I always get the shish kabob plate with rice. You could also get bulgar. It comes with a small salad and some hummus. The wife gets the stuffed grape leaves and either the«our choice» salad or the lentil soup. She also likes the hummus and meat appetizer. Overall this is a great place.

Love this little restaurant. My favorite dish is the filet mignon, with hummus, grilled veggies and their bulgar rice. If you like meat, you’ll love this dish. Seasoned perfect, and super tender. The other dish I really like is their stuffed cabbage, unfortunately they only have it once in awhile as a special. Fantastic family run restaurant.

Always in search for a good Kebob place around work. I usually get the kebob wrap which taste good. The service is very slow though. If you come at 12 get ready for an 1.5hr lunch. This place is def no Raffi’s in DT Glendale.

Lovely, low-key yet warm place for very good Mediterranean fare. I saw a group of about eight ladies enjoying dinner there, and they looked so relaxed and happy and like they were all kicking back. So, yeah, good for groups, too. I’ve been by for takeout a couple times now, and first up was Shish Tavook — recommended by so many. It’s thorough meal of tasty grilled chicken breast atop either the rice or the bulgar wheat(or the combo, if you ask). I tried and loved the rice. Served with tiny noodles inside(yeah, noodles), which I had mistaken for curly onions. There is a tasty, almost buttery taste, without being overly rich or wet. Herbs are in there, too, but I can’t tell you which. No matter. It’s just flavorful rice! I liked the chicken, too. And the hummus with pita and Lavash bread was about the creamiest and tastiest hummus I can recall.(The Tahini and olive oil mixed in so well) The hummus made me eager to try additional small dishes. So, on a subsequent visit, I opted for the Falafel and also for the Eggplant Ratatouille. The falafel was crisp, not crunchy; tasty without being greasy. The dipping sauce, though very thin, absorbed well and gave it a boost. Definitely recommend. Kudos, too, for the Eggplant Ratatouille.(Not to be confused with baba ganoush — but you knew that). ‘Organic eggplants, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, roasted on an open flame, tossed in fresh lemon juice, olive oil and spices,’ says the menu. Loved it. Smoky, textured, and perfect to make little wraps with the pita and lavash bread. Both breads were very good, but the lavash was probably the best I’ve had of this Armenian classic. The ladies there are nice. The food is great. The prices are very reasonable. This is a great place to eat in or take out.

GET: wheat rice instead of regular rice Well, they let you do half and half if you ask. It’s not actually called wheat rice but you’ll be able to tell what I’m talking about when you look at the menu and side options for your plate. I did the half and half, and the wheat rice tasted so much better than the regular rice. It’s soft and has an interesting flavor. I haven’t seen it served elsewhere, so you should get that here! The place is a little small, but cozy. The food and the service were great. The food does take a while to come though, so I haven’t been back because of my work lunch schedule. Perhaps you can order ahead of time.

In the market for falafel? Come to Arde’s! I’d never been here before, but the other day I was craving something different from what I normally eat on my lunch hour and when Arde’s showed up as being within reasonable walking distance on Unilocal,I was all in! The falafel is of course vegan, along with the falafel wrap, and the woman working was knowledgeable about the veg options on the menu. The potato salad is also completely dairy and egg free – woohoo! – so that one’s a great side dish option. I was told it would take 10 minutes for my falafel wrap and potato salad to be ready and it came out at 10 minutes on the dot. I remember thinking how bizarrely accurate her timing estimate was. The food tasted really great, although the portion sizes felt just a little small. Otherwise, Arde’s was falafreakin’ amazing and I can’t wait to come back :).

Nina is always our waitress and she’s so sweet and great at what she does! She is the daughter of the owners works the entire resto by herself(about 10 tables) and you never feel like she’s not paying attention to you. In fact, she always remembers that we love spicy food and always brings us hot sauce, without us even having to ask. The menu is extensive and I’m pretty sure you can’t go wrong. LOTSOFVEGGIEOPTIONS! All the appetizers are veg except for one! And all are delicious. I particularly love the spicy walnut pesto because it’s so unique; they top it off with fresh pine nuts which is nice considering out expensive pine nuts are! Their falafel are also very well made. All of their portions are very large and you’re guaranteed to have leftovers! Overall, it is a great lunch spot. Cute and small family-owned resto. Bathroom is in the back so you get to walk through the kitchen and then get more hungry just seeing all the delicious food being made! They have a small parking lot in the back on Valley Road — turn into the alley. See pics for more info.

I’ve been coming to Arde’s for 6 years now and I have yet to have a bad experience. I absolutely love this place and it’s definitely in my Top 5 Burbank spots to eat at. The food and service are both amazing. The restaurant is always clean and organized and the prices are very fair considering the type of food you’re getting(top notch Mediterranean cuisine). It could get busy during lunch time on weekdays but it’s worth the wait. I highly recommend their Bulgur Pilaf! Give it a try and I guarantee that you’ll be back.

Mom and Pop shop at its best! Healthy, affordable and DELICIOUS eats. *Note — Food might take about 10 – 15 minutes to come out of the kitchen(they make sure your food will be all you dreamt about) so don’t get impatient and make sure you got time to relax and eat :) Always the same cute, friendly waitress, very nice interior and clean atmosphere. I’ve tried the salads, to all sorts of appetizers(grape leaves, eggplant), chicken and falafel wraps to dinner plates(about $ 9) and I’ve never left disappointed. Salmon plate with bulgur(wheat rice… please try if you never had) side salad and hummus… with lavash or pita bread is the BOMB. Very fulfilling for a great price and alternative healthy eat in comparison to a sandwich or burger or something. Greek Tea is delicious and usually you get a small Baklava bite if they made some for the day and still got some left.
