I ate here after being sick to get some more wholesome home cooked food as I was getting tired of soup. I got a chicken plate dinner and 2 sides which was decent. I’ve never really liked this place because the staff and the people who eat there, really aren’t that health conscience and I really feel out of place. It shows in the restaurant too. The interior is old, dark and ugly. Every time I go there the restaurant is dirty and the tables are hardly ever cleaned. It looks like a biological Armageddon waiting to happen. Well after being jacked up on sinus medication, I made a bad judgement of deciding to eat there. I ordered my chicken dinner and proceeded to sit down at a table to wait for delivery of my food. I large unhealthy BM worker delivered my food but at that point I was already very irritated and ready to walk out of the restaurant. There was a disgusting stench roaming throughout the entire eating area, and as I looked over I noticed that the bathrooms were actually right inside of the eating area. Someone had taken a massive defecation in one of the bathrooms and it was polluting up the entire restaurant. My table was only 5 feet away from the bathroom door, so I decided to move over a few seats. Still, my nose was burning from the foul oder of somebody’s leftover doo doo crime scene. I noticed that a couple just walked in to eat and the male went straight to the bathroom upon entering and as soon as he got close to the door hit got hit in the face with a brick wall of stank. «Ewwwwwwwwwww» was the first thing to come out of his mouth. He turned around and went up to the counter to place his order. After a few minutes of realizing that the sewer pipes were not going to clean themselves I grabbed a togo box and got the hell out of there. The staff was acting like there was nothing going on and played ignorant to the situation. I will not be eating here again, or at any of the other«BM’s.»(aka Bowel Movements) In this case the«winner winner chicken dinner» was no winner. FAIL.

I give it two stars because my childhood memory was too great to give it one star. I ate Boston Market a lot when I was younger, so I gave a suggestion to my friends that we should order this for our New Years Eve #NoNewFriends party. We conveniently ordered online a whole bunch of things. Sad thing is we wanted to pick it up 8:30pm. The restaurant did not tell us that that was not an option so we thought it would work. So, we get a phone call at 6:30pm, 30 minutes before they close saying they have no more rotisserie chicken and that you close in 30 minutes… UM. thank you for killing our party. We ended up cooking last minute, so you can only imagine how disappointed that you let us down.

Wow called in a telephone order of two chicken pot pies and two sides and the guy told me to wait 20 minutes to pick them up. So i went to Boston Market paid for my order, waited for my order about 20 minutes and I saw 5 chicken pot pies coming out of the oven I was thinking they were mine well it came to be that they were not my order it was somebody else’s order then the lady told me I had to wait an additional 20 minutes because my pot pies were barely going to be put in the oven so it was going to be a total of 40 minutes of waiting and she has the nerve to ask me if I want drink a horrible experience after wanting pot pies and coming all the way from San Diego with children that were hungry in the car. So I left because the kids were hungry. The girl said the guy who took my order forgot to put them in the oven.

My coworker raved about this place for weeks and eventually dragged me here for lunch. I walked in expecting the worst. It’s not exactly a 5 star restaurant, but I was proven totally wrong– you get a 5 star meal without having to pay the price! I got their chicken breast with the side of mashed potatoes and mac N cheese and the pecan pie for dessert. This was probably one of the best meals I have had for lunch in a really long time. It was very filling, Thanksgiving quality food and all of this for only $ 12! The chicken was very moist and flavorful. The sides were hearty and just delicious and the pecan pie had to be the best pie I have ever had(and that’s saying a lot). I will definitely be coming back here soon.

Do not, and I mean seriously, DONOT order any sort of holiday meal from them. To try and make things easier for ourselves this year, we pre-ordered items from their advertised«Heat and Serve» holiday menu. Instructions were essentially pick what items you want, what time you want to pick them up, and then come get them! Easy as that. Except it wasn’t easy. I showed up about 15 minutes prior to my «scheduled» pick up time, only to find a line wrapped around the building. It took me TWOAND A HALFHOURS to pick up my PRE-ORDERED food. I don’t know what sort of system they were employing, but man, it had to be the worst one they could think of. One person(upgraded to 2 late in the day) running around the back of a truck trying to locate items to hand to someone who put them in a bag. Once your bag was complete, you then had to wait for another employee to run to the computer and find your name, run back and tell you your total, ask for cash and credit, run back to the computer to run the card/get change, then come back and give you the receipt. I felt so sorry for the employees who were taking the brunt of customer anger due to HORRIBLE planning by management. There was no excuse. These were PRE-ORDERS. Management knew exactly how many meals/items/people were going to be at the store yesterday. This wasn’t some big flood of people they weren’t anticipating. I lost 2.5 hours of family time on Thanksgiving standing in line, outside, in the cold. Not to mention that this food was not ready to serve, it had 2 hours of heating to go before it could be eaten. I thought I’d be in and out of there in 15 minutes tops. DONOTORDERTHEIRHOLIDAYITEMS. DON’T DOIT. Don’t be fooled by the seemingly easy idea of pre-ordering and then just picking it up. Not unless you want to waste your day standing in line.

Ordered thanksgiving meal online for the first time from this Boston market. When you order online, you have to select a time to pick it up. Last year I ordered from the one in Covina and had NO problem. But this location had a 2 hour wait to pick up pre-orders. I would have just left and not waited but(1) was worried I would get charged the $ 125 anyways for the order and(2) I didn’t have a plan B(i.e. Didn’t grocery shop or prepare any turkey, stuffing, etc) because I anticipated getting this holiday order from Boston market. Everyone in line were waiting outside in the cold on thanksgiving day for two damn hours and you still have to go home and heat everything. This was unorganized and poorly executed. They should have been like in & out where they have a staff walk through the line and inquire about who ordered what and run debit or credit cards or collect cash to get the payments out of the way so that no one is wasting time with payments at the front of the line AND waiting for the order to be put together. Location sucks! I’ll never come back for a holiday meal or anything else.

I am totally shocked by the good reviews at this post market decided to try again… the staff was extremely friendly and efficient… the chicken was under cooked and stringy and could not get it off of the bone… green beans were like rubber sticks… the food was cold and the chicken had no skin on it which is almost the best part. The cornbread is good for two bites. Never will I go back for that kind of money.

I come here 1 – 2 times a week to pick up family meals for my grandparents. The staff is so upbeat and friendly every time, especially Christine. Food is always good and quick. Love the energy. And loaded mashed potatoes.

Extremely slow. Out of most items with a minimal of 15 minute for foods to become available. Wait was much longer. Food was good. However I expected to get it quick and take it to go. Need better planning as they were out of many main items. 6 pm.

Just left Boston Market. Should have taken the hint when we walked in and my son says«it smells in here». We were hungry and the restaurant we wanted had a long waiting line. Ordered our meal and when it came my food was really cold. They took it back and when they brought it back it was warmer but not that warm and came with a long black hair(I’m a blonde). The fork I used smelled like dishwashing detergent which made it hard to eat with as it made my food taste like soap. I really had enough when my young son took a bite of his chicken and ended up eating greasy slimy gristle. The bathrooms were a mess too. I am very disappointed and disgusted that I wasted money on such a horrible meal.

First time ever eating at a Boston Market and the food was good. It’s nothing that wowed me but still good tasting. A bit pricey but didn’t bother me much. Definitely 5 star for the employees there! They were super nice and quick and made my first visit a pleasant one :)

My favorite Boston Market. They’re usually pretty quick with your food, and now they have that awesome soda machine that makes 10,000 different types of drinks. Keeps the kids eating, since I won’t let them try a new flavor until they finish 10 bites of their meal.

Mary is rude & her customer service is non Existent. The chicken is almost always raw. Even the manager said so when I asked for my half white meat chicken to be replaced because it was oozing blood. I was appreciative that he responded with a level of understanding, but at the same time they need to either get new ovens or cook the meat for a longer period of time.(Only for the Health and safety of their customers). The service & quality of the food is ALWAYS a hit or a miss.(Hence my 3 stars). This location needs improvement.

This place is near my houseeeeee. Who knew. First time i heard about this place was when my cousin gave me a gift card. I had to google what this place was and found one 1.5 miles away from my house. Anyways I spent the gift card to buy some ¼ ribs with mac n cheese with steamed veggies as side for my dad as lunch. The mac n cheese was good and I assumed the other parts were good too since I heard no complaints from my dad haha. Place overall was in order and there’s parking that I didn’t use. I’ll probably come again to have my mom try some of the food. She said it look good so might as well have her walk 1.5 miles to get food XD

If you like stems in your tomatoes, come here! I was reminded why I rarely go to chain restaurants. Seems like the cooks don’t care.

Surprisingly excellent. As a massive chicken consumer, especially the rostisserie variety, I gotta say: They can be consistently counted on for flavorful, moist at a reasonable price. I was a fan of Boston Chicken(its original name) a decade ago, but lost interest as they became a big chain that seemed to lose its way. I rarely see Boston Market anywhere these days, so I guess they pared it back and started over. Good strategy, cause now it once again tastes like they know what they’re doing. And that they aren’t taking anything for granted. I try to avoid chains, when possible. I try to avoid reviewing chains, too. However, I can’t resist as I’ve been in the area a lot lately, and thought I’d give ‘em a fresh look. OK: So, the ½ Chicken comes with two sides, and cornbread. The chicken, already mentioned, is very good. And unlike some rotisserie places where sometimes it’s great, other times it’s dry — well this location was three for three in my experience. The sides offer good variety — I just couldn’t stop getting the stuffing and the garlicky spinach. If you like Stove Top Stuffing, you have hit paydirt. It totally reminds me of Stove Top, plus they add carrots. Delicious, flavorful, not too buttery; just right. The garlicky spinach is pretty good. I definitely loved it the first time I got it. I still liked it the next couple times, too. The cornbread isn’t big, and each time I saved it for the next day. It’s fine, but it didn’t blow me away. Honestly, most corn bread seems to be an afterthought — ah well. On the third visit, I finally succumbed to the dessert. The chocolate chip cookies look really good. But it’s the Pecan Pie that was calling my name. It might be calling out my address too, for all I know, cause day-um, it was good. Perfectly sweet and pecany without being too sugary, or goopy. The crust was pretty good, too. It crumbled on me, as I devoured it. They apparently sell the pies whole or by the slice. Apple Pie was an option. But not for me. The servers are friendly, helpful and not selly. To go takes just a minute. Or you can sit down in the rather bright, if bland tables. Whatever works. Have it your way. Wait, that’s a different chain… Parking off Riverside in a roomy lot shared with a few other businesses.

Review is strictly for the last minute catering order: My friends and I were having a Sunday football BBQ and I was tasked with bring the side orders to accompany the meats. I guess mashed potatoes, creamed veggies and some other sides were in order. I so happen to come up upon the Burbank Boston Market store. I walked in and Katherine(the front cashier/employee) greeted my son and I with a big smile and hello. I inquired on their last minute catering side orders and she originally didn’t let me order the side dishes in trays. As she thought for a moment, she walked to the back office and asked her manager(I think it was scott) if I could order a few trays of their sides. After a couple of minutes of wheeling and dealing, both Katherine and Scott took my order and we were good to go. The sides took a bit longer, but Scott did come over and offer me a free fountain beverage and told me that the sweet potatoes would take a few minutes longer. After it was said and done, i walked out with 3 trays of yummy sides(creamed spinach, mashed potatoes and gravy, and sweet potatoes with the brown sugar and marshmallows. I was a happy camper. My suggestion is to call ahead to any Boston Market location if you want trays of their food, they advertise a lot about their phone in catering orders. This location was awesome!
