The bartenders here are so friendly, anything you want they’ll make it. The food is great and the atmosphere is always good. Definitely a good place to try!

I enjoyed the empanadas especially the one with the beans and goat cheese — it was very flavorful. I didn’t expect pork in the empanadas to be BBQ pork though. It could have been better. I was also impressed with soft shell tacos and spring rolls. But the seafood mixture in the glass was my absolute favorite. Be careful with the sangria there, a glass or two will get you drunk. I also like that they change their menu often.

Friendly service and great empanadas! Good drinks too. Pretzel chicken is delicious too.

We went there for a bachelorette dinner(25 of us). The service was horrendous. No waiter on staff, the bartender handled everything — no apologies for the delays — the drink orders took forever(needed to ask for water three times) and meals took 3 hours to arrive. Quality of food not great. Really disappointed — after 2 hours they finally brought chips and salsa to the table since everyone was so hungry — absolutely no customer service and this party was booked three weeks ago. 25 people were very frustrated last night and nobody seemed to care — never going back.

Came here on a whim for a date and ended up pretty satisfied! For tapas, it ended up filling us both up without emptying our wallets! As we ordered, our waiter was really friendly and conscious of my particular onion/scallion allergy, able to name off which items that would be okay for me to eat! Great service and even helped us out when a wrong menu item came out. I was warned this place would be a little noisy, but I ended up not minding. I was still able to sit at a table away from the bar and continue on my date without having to have too much repeated. It had a nice ambiance for my boyfriend and I to have our date night and enjoy each other. There was definitely sports playing in the back, but it wasn’t loud enough to interrupt our date! So we ended up ordering unlimited chips and salsa, coco shrimp, and mussels with chorizo. So far so good. We already started feeling kind of stuffed but then came the short rib tostadas. And because of my allergy they were able to prepare it without me having to worry about it! They tasted great and topped off the meal for us. Overall great night, would come back!

This was a nice place to have basic Mexican food. I had the shrimp enchiladas and they were tasty. The chips and salsa were fresh, the guac also. Thee red sangria was very watered down though, served in a cheap pitcher with ice

Second time at Olé, first time in the Tapas Bar. Slow service by the only waitress who admitted it was her first day. She was not well educated on menu or beer selection. This during a busy football watching crowd supplemented by a street fair that they sponsored. Bartender was awesome! He brought food to table and catered to our needs very well. Food was average but reasonably priced. Management should have prepared front of house better for today.

This is by far the best bar in the area. Bartenders are fantastic, you’ll rarely wait for a drink even on the busiest of nights. The food is actually excellent. I highly recommend the pulled pork empanadas and the wings around the world. That being said, I’ve never had a bad meal there. Go! Go now!

The Olé Tapas Bar offers a nice atmosphere and the food is correct. It’s not expensive, the service excellent and the barman can speak French :-) The note is more for the amazing ambiance than for the food.

Really chill bar with great food Olé tapas is a great bar to go on a weeknight, relax, and have a couple of drinks. The chips and salsa are addictive. They have palm on tap which is an excellent belgian beer. I haven’t had anything here that I haven’t liked. I especially recommend getting the churros… they are nothing short of amazing.

This is by far the best bar in Suffern. The chips and salsa are the best. The bar tenders are all great and really funny and entertaining. It’s a great place to hangout with friends, family or to have a date!

What a great bar and restaurant. Great food, drinks, bartender and staff know what they are doing. I real great feel to the place, good mix of food and drinks. They have a really cool jukebox that takes pictures and bartender told me it does karaōke too. Looking forward to karaōke night. With the sound system they have there it is going to be awesome. We ate on the restaurant side then had cocktails and some good music on the bar side. Highly recommend.

I have been to Olé Tapas Bar now quite a few times since the power went out with hurricane Sandy. We had no power so we figured lets go local. Glad we did. The best item on the menu is definitely the salmon, but their wings are up there with the best of them; they are what inspired me to finally sit out and write this review. The Mexican wings with habenero are out of this world. They offer specials daily of which were a shrimp chipotle tacos which were amazing. We also tried the coconut shrimp were awesome but a bit sweet for me. Lastly, a must try are the sliders with fries. The fries are crispy good and the sliders delicious. The same people who own Olé Olé own this tapas bar and seem to be really nice people who employ on the best. Great wine list, full bar available. They have TVs which feature whatever important games are on for that day. Also a jukebox. Nice vibe!
