A bit dilapidated, but this Irish pub & grill is consistent and affordable I bring my kid here when we’re in a pinch for dinner and it’s always a good call.

This happens to be my favorite quick bite place around Rockland. Yes, wings are small, but good. They have great food, great portions, and great prices. One waitress Karen always helps with modifying menu and suggestions with Specials. Their bathrooms are always clean as well which is a big plus in my book for a pub.

Went to dinner with my husband and daughter and were completely appalled at the service. Not to mention I think they may have a tendency to treat people of another race differently than others. The bartender certainly was more interested in conversing with his friends that were bar patrons than assisting other customers. The food was horrible. The steak you couldn’t even gnaw through. The nachos looked like something our 5 year old would have made. Not to mention after the waiter clearly saw we ate nothing he didn’t say a word– even when we said the steak was inedible. Burnt fries, a shriveled hot dog, pork so dry it crumbled apart, and a steak I wouldn’t give to my dog to eat. Will not be going back.

Well how do i start. Food that I order was a combo chicken, ribs and steak with mashed potatoes. Food was over cooked on all three items. But I must say the service was good. Oh I almost forgot the wings were awesomeness.

Ordered a couple sandwiches and wings. The sandwiches were nothing special but not bad. But the«famous wings» were some of the worse wings we ever had. Not sure if it was microwaved or what but no one was able to even finish an entire wing! Do your self a favor and don’t waste your time, your better off at the diner across the street.

This is my favorite hamburger anywhere!!! I usually get the Swiss burger, but do change it up once in awhile with other cheeses. I still haven’t found any burger that comes close. Nice size. Juicy. Delicious! I’ve tried a few other dishes too which are good but most of the time it’s for a burger. Gravy fries on the side. Yum. This place is usually quite busy when I’m there and the service is great too. Also a great place if your in a rush and need some takeout. I’ve introduced this place to several friends and they all love it

Place was good years ago. Had lunch there today and it was not good. Had the«famous wings». They were terrible. They where by far the smallest wings I’ve ever eaten. People will pay more for a better product. Place is rundown and needs a face lift.

This is your typical local dove bar. You walk in to a run down 70’s looking room with wood paneling and neon lights. Wait staff usually have you choose your own seat which I like! The food is pretty typical bar food– burgers, wings, sandwiches, salads, etc. I wish they updated the interior. Definitely time for a facelift! I have this place 4 stars because nothing keeps me away from the place. Just wish it was more updated

This is a typical bar/dive with OK food. Unfortunately this is my 2nd time here and the food just was not as good as the first time. The wings are good, but quite small, almost like pigeon wings. My chicken sandwich was too chewy, last time it was so much better and was the reason I came. The wait staff is super friendly, but not very fast… in fact quite slow.

Stopped in with a friend this past Sunday evening and was not impressed. We were told to seat ourselves, but almost all of the tables were dirty from previous guests. The waitresses were very friendly but overwhelmed, probably from the crowd there watching football. It took awhile to get a drink and we had to hunt down a waitress for refills. Burgers were«just ok» but nothing more. First impression is that this is a hangout for regulars, especially for Sunday football. Judging by the packed house I witnessed, they obviously have lots of customers, but I wouldn’t return.

Ordered the chicken sandwich with peppers, and was rather disappointed. While the chicken and peppers were cooked rather well and dripping with cheese, the chef unfortunately decided to doom the sandwich with the worst toasted hoagie roll I ever tasted. Rather stale and asymmetrically toasted, it left a lot to be desired. Potato wedges lacked any flavor and required much salt and ketchup. Atmosphere was friendly and my food was served quickly, but I almost wish they spent more time caring for it.

Typical beer choices, nothing too fancy, good burger and wings. Nothing special or over the top, or even memorable. To their credit, they have giant portions.

Best wings I have ever had! Best fried pub food! Husband and I would go for beer and food after a long days work on Fridays and it was so relaxing. The waitresses are pretty nice especially when kids are around. I always love a wait staff that digs children and can interact with them. Omg and dessert! First time I have had peanut butter pie and omg I was in heaven!!! My husband knows we can’t leave without a slice every-time we go! Go enjoy the seafood basket or a nice juicy bacon cheese burger! Enjoy!

Tonight 4−21−15 I again ordered wings. It was much earleir than last time. 8pm so, against my better judgment I tried again. Once again they were small, puny, and very dry. So disappointed that my favorite wings in the world have faded. I will try to upload a photo.

$ 1.00 Taco night on Wednesday’s The tacos are sitting in a basket of grease… literally. I used one full napkin to wipe the grease off my hand after eating only one. I’ve done dollar taco nights at other places in the past, and I rarely have to use a napkin for the whole meal. They were ok flavor wise, but what do you really expect for 1 dollar? I just want everyone to be aware that if you have a problem with grease, like I do, dollar taco night at this place is not what you want to eat.

This spot is awesome! Great food(especially the cheese burger & wings). Owners are usually at the location so service is always perfect. Keep up the great work!!!

Sutter’s Mill is a true pub and is definitely a local hangout. Although I am not a local, I found my time to be pleasant. The interior of this place is outdated and its extremely dark inside. When I left and walked outside, my eyes were actually hurting because I got used to such dark lighting. The waitresses are all laid back and did their jobs well enough. I loved the selection of music they had playing too. For food I went with jalapeño poppers to start and a burger for the main course. The jalapeño poppers were perfect. Nice and crispy on the outside and gooey cheese with a large jalapeño on the inside. I really enjoyed them. I requested some sour cream on the side for dipping but truth be told they didn’t really need a condiment. I ordered a normal cheeseburger well done, with American cheese. The burger was cooked just right. Not well done to the point of leather tasting, it still had that juicy flavor to it. The onion rings on the side were spot on as well. I think the true rating should be a 3.5 Next time I want to try their chicken wings!

Let’s just say I’ve been to better. Going to take a phrase from the classic movie Casablanca Rick: Of all the gin joints, in all the towns, in all the world, she walks into mine. Well, Rick I’d pass over this one. Sutter’s used to be great years ago. Wings are smaller than they used to be and just not that good. Sandwiches are too greasy and just okay. But, the bartenders are friendly and the music is good, that’s about it.

I’m half a year late on this review. I stumbled upon this place with some friends on our road trip to the States from Canada. We got to our hotel late, were hungry, and this place was nearby and open. We showed up on a Wednesday and helped ourselves to the taco and nacho special. It was such a great price we just had to have it. The tacos were great, and i don’t think we ate much of the nachos. And here is the reason why. We also had an order of wings to share, I ordered a bacon cheese burger(medium rare), and my friend ordered the roast beef. This was WAY too much food for two guys and a tiny girl. The cheeseburger was huge, and juicy. The roast beef was amazing, it was the most delicious I’ve ever had. The waitress was extremely friendly and was enjoyable to chat with, made us feel very welcome. Food was great, we were stuffed, and we slept like babies that night. Probably not the best place to eat if you are on a diet. Haha.

My bf and I stopped in here on our way home from a weekend trip. I wanted to try the wings after being told they’re soo good. I’m glad I passed on them. They’re tiny. I mean small. And I like my wings big and meaty.(That’s what she said!) More than that, I like buffalo sauce. Not Tabasco coated wings. I had one and although not terrible, not my kind of wing. I ended up ordering like a 6 year old with chicken tenders and curly fries. That basket did not disappoint. The tenders were really good.
