I am one of those people who wrote the corporate office to complain that zucchini frites were removed from the menu. I did not return until yesterday just because we have been very busy moving from Georgia to Texas. Sad to say that the frites were tasty, but stone cold. Not a bit of warmth to them. The bread was hot and I thoroughly enjoyed my orzo and tilapia with balsamic reduction, but was so sad about the zucchini. I went at least twice a week in Ga. and sat at the bar to have them. I didn’t send them back because our server was so nice. What a letdown.

I came here for business dinner last week. The food was a disappointment. I think the only dish I enjoyed immensely was the bread and the olive oil seasoning they give out complimentary. Everything else in the evening was plain and somewhat bland to me, and I’ve had better Italian food at other places. I find the minestrone soup salty, the flatbread doesn’t stand out, the vegetarian pasta dishes bland. The chicken marsala was also average, nothing really special. I had also ordered asparagus as a side for this dish, but they didn’t give that but only gave me mash potatoes. I couldn’t complain because it was just tiring waiting for the waitress to come back. The service was definitely not as good as it could be. I felt she didn’t give our table enough attention for whatever reason. I don’t think I will be visiting anytime soon again.

Love the food here! No complaints. The wait can be pretty long on the weekend but that’s normal for any restaurant. My favorite dish is the Fetticine Wessie. It’s shrimp and Fetticine Alfredo, served with their delicious sausage and lentils bean soup. The mozzarella sticks are tasty along with the calamari! I sometimes only come for the calamari! Lol

Came in for lunch and the service was very good but felt sorry for the servers. No bread? The machine wasn’t working? I’ve never heard of this before you would think management would offer a cup of soup etc if they couldn’t offer bread. Calamari was over cooked and fried and was almost all breading. The new salads were great! Service great and five star salad but was disappointed overall with the r

The food was awesome, the service wasn’t that great. I order the Chicken Bryan with a side of fettuccine alfredo pasta and my wife ordered the fettuccine weesie. We were both pleased with our orders. My only complaint was there could have been some more alfredo sauce. This was our first time at the sugarland location. We never knew there was a Carrabba’s in sugarland. We will definitely be heading back.

I came here many times. It is always busy. Food is very good. I often eat mussels which I like most. Salad is not really special.

I will never understand why a restaurant makes customers wait to be seated when they have over 16 tables open. Apparently they didn’t schedule enough waiters for this national holiday. That’s dumb and disrespectful of their customers time. It is 4:15 and there are 5 parties waiting to be seated. No one should ever have to wait for a table in off peak times. I expect such stupidity at some other restaurants, but not at Carrabas. I would walk out if I didn’t have a coupon for a free dinner.

I absolutely HATE the idea of a wait list. Why even have people make a reservation online if a table isn’t ready at the time you select? I made a 6:45PM reservation for three on a Saturday night, showed up at 6:40PM, and we were told it’d be a 20min wait. That’s crap. For this, I’d give two stars. But, once we sat down, service was prompt. The food was actually pretty decent, so I decided instead to give three stars. To start, we ordered the arancini(rice balls); I hate to say this, but they tasted better than what I had at an Italian deli near Chicago O’Hare. I ordered the shrimp and scallop linguine alla vodka. While not as good as the vodka penne pasta at Mickey Bryne’s in Hollywood, FL(best vodka pasta of all my travels in my opinion), it was pretty good. The tomato sauce was fresh and seems as if it’s made in-house. There were right amounts of seafood, pasta, and sauce. I can’t stand it when there’s an imbalance! My mother ordered the linguine and white clam sauce. It was okay. I am glad I ordered what I did, and she regretted not ordering what I chose(had a debate). Dad ordered the lasagna, which was also pretty good. Again, the tomato sauce was fresh. I am sure they use the same sauce as a base for dishes, just like you would at home. The meal for one appetizer and three entrees, including a 20% tip(had a really good waitress), cost $ 73. This is a quite steep I think for an everyday meal, but I used $ 60 in gift cards. [By the way, Outback Steakhouse, Fleming’s, Bonefish Grill, and Carrabba’s are all the same company, so your gift cards work at any of these places.] Mom and I did not finish our meals, so I suppose you could view this as two meals per entrée, depending on how much you eat. I’ve got $ 25 left in gift cards, so I will probably return!

This is the third time that I’ve been to this Carrabba’s and I’ve never experienced a problem until tonight. We came on a Sunday night around 7pm and it was pretty crowded. The hostess had said that it will take about«20 – 30 minutes and maybe even less.» We kept seeing parties coming after us getting seated and after waiting for about 25 minutes I decided to ask the hostess what the hold up was. She made up some excuse and said that a table will be ready in 5 minutes and so we told her that we will be counting down 5 minutes since we were all hungry and had been waiting for almost 30 minutes for a table. After ONE minute, she calls our name. What are the odds that she decides to call out our name after we complained about waiting for so long? Hmm… Four of us ordered caesar salads and one of the salads only contained two croutons while the others contained a normal amount of croutons. We had to ask the waiter for more. I specifically asked for no balsamic glaze on my proscuitto and arugula pizza. He came out with the pizza and right before he was about to give it to me he had said, «you had said no glaze right?» and he had to take it back to the kitchen for them to remake my entire pizza. By the time my pizza came out, everyone was already close to done eating. Because of the long wait, shortage of croutons in the caesar salad, and my order being wrong, I have no desire of coming back.

It’s ok. It’s not great, it’s not terrible, just ok. Nothing to write home about. The service everytime I go is consistently slow. I can’t figure out of their tables are in multiple sections or what but even if they aren’t busy the service is slow. Kids menu does have a wide range of options which is a plus Bc that’s never a worry. So if you haven’t tried it it’s worth a shot, but don’t prepare to be amazed.

Food is always great here. I was impressed with the curbside service. They set reasonable expectations on the time made ready.

This was my first experience at Carrabba’s and everything was good. Our server Bobby was cool, calm, & collected. Made sure our drinks were filled and our order came out in good timing and it was delicious. The bread and oil based sauce is so good! Bread was fresh and hot, the sauce had a little kick to it which I loved. I’m happy I made it in when I did because this location started to get packed after 5 pm on a Saturday. This will not be my last visit here. Keep up the hard work.

I ordered the lasagna and it came out look warm after waiting nearly 20 minutes. As I was eating I pulled a large piece of aluminum foil that looked like an aluminum foil pan. The waiter even took notice of it but did nothing to rectify the issue. Will not be coming back.

This place is AWESOME! A friend of mine and I dined here last week and our experience was great! Gustavo was our waiter. He was friendly, efficient, and tended to our every need. He made suggestions and made our dining experience very pleasant. He needs a raise! QUICK! The only downside to our visit was that it was very cold inside. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. And Gustavo better get his raise! :-)

Great food, great service, great wine! We really enjoyed our experience here. We’ve eaten at other Carrabba’s restaurants(in GA though) and enjoy them as well — part of the reason we picked it. I have the Carrabbas Fettecine and it was phenomenal! Maybe a little heavy on the english peas, but it was still fantastic(love the mushrooms and the chicken was full of flavor). The bread with olive oil served before the meal was amazing — just melted in our mouths. It must’ve been right out of the oven. Salads(I ordered italian dressing on a house salad) was fairly typical, but no complaints. The waiter was amazing. Drinks/food/check were all brought out in a reasonable time frame :) We will definitely be going back to this restaurant!

Wow– just realized I have NEVER reviewed this place– and so since this is a go-to place for the wife and I, I will give you the low down– This location is consistent in the kitchen– wait staff is a hit or miss(turn over must be an issue) Carrabba’s fare is always above the norm and have never had a bad meal– this last time had the Pollo Sorrento, excellent– started with the house salad(my favorite) and the fried zucchini– place is great for the kids and the bar is quite nice as well… There may be a wait sometimes but we have been fortunate these last few times hitting the right time to get seated right away.

Decent ambiance and good service. I’ve been to this location twice now and my food was better on the second go. A little inconsistent. Drinks were good and they have a good selection at the bar. Overall, this is a place I’d visit again, but honestly, I wasn’t overly impressed. At least the service was good. Definitely bumped my review to 3 stars.

The food was good. Not as good as the Carrabas on Kirby, but solid. Moderately affordable. I lovvvvvvvve the bread and olive oil and the Ceasar salad. I ordered the baked ravioli and it was super decadent but very tasty. Service was decent as well. The kids enjoyed.

The food was fresh and tasty for the most part. Our waiter was a nice guy. The calamari was a little over cooked and on the dried side. I felt the marinara sauce lacked flavor and was not chunky. Most of the time when I’ve had marinara sauce its more flavorful and not so watery like how I’ve had it at other places. I was actually disappointed about the marinara sauce. Recently, I had a delicious marinara sauce with my fried cheese at Pappas burger was much more flavorful and chunky. My twins had chicken strips and pizza. The chicken was actually moist even though it was fried. The pizza however was a little on the burnt side. I enjoyed my lunch portion of the ceasar salad with grilled chicken added with a cup of the tasty mama Mandola chicken soup. Overall the visit was nice. I do prefer to go to the 2 original family owned locations over any of these corporate owned Carrabas.

I dined here with my family for dinner on a Friday night. There was a little bit of a wait for a table, and once the hostess finally seated our group of 5, we found ourselves at a high top table in the bar area. It wasn’t that big of a deal, but definitely felt like more casual than we were hoping for for that evening. Our waiter was a young guy, maybe a high-schooler. We ordered our drinks from him(all sodas and ice-teas) and when he brought them out, he brought out TWO of each drink. He made a joke saying something about us being big drinkers… not funny. Not only was it annoying to have a total of TEN glasses at our table making water rings, but once anyone finished their first glass and moved on to the second, it was of course already watered down. We had to ask him to take some of the glasses away and return with fresh refills when we were ready. Bread was not refilled in a timely fashion. In fact, when we asked for more bread after our first basket was finished, our waiter said«It’s in the oven, it will be out in 8 minutes.» After 20 minutes, we flagged down a waitress and asked her to bring us some bread. She brought it out instantly. Our food was good, typical Italian dishes– we ordered a variety of pasta dishes, a pizza, and a steak. Overall– an ok family dinner with a waiter we wasted too much time on. Quality of service can affect your whole evening.
