Went with my girlfriend on a Saturday night, 1.15 hrs before closing. FIRSTIMPRESSIONS: –The restaurant is dated; updates needed asap. The Olive Garden in the area is a 5 star hotel compared to this establishment. –There were about 8 parties — SLOOOW(especially being Saturday night). –Funky smell(again, old/dated building?) PROS: –Greeted by host and sat at a booth within 3 mins. –Easy parking(slooooow night) CONS: –We were starving from a long night Christmas shopping and NOONECAMETOGREETUS! We thought about leaving within the first 5 mins but waited until 15 mins for a waiter to take our order but NOONECAMETOOURTABLE. We tried making eye contact and waving at other waiters but to no avail. It was a slow night and still, SERVICEWASTERRIBLE. We finally got up and told the host that no one served us; even he was surprised. TIP: The BJ’s restaurant BESIDE this terrible place is 100x better. They were open until 1 am and had so much more food selection. Oh yeah, we received excellent service despite them being busy. I don’t know how Red Lobsters still open. They should clear it because BJ’s need a bigger parking lot.

You usually go to a restaurant to enjoy the food and have a wonderful time enjoying each other’s company, sans the preparation and cleaning up that goes with having a good meal. Today, we were lucky to have such an experience at Red Lobster. Our dining experience was great, with our tasty lobster tail and grilled shrimps. Our waiter connected with us, knowing we were out-of-towners. Sadly, we didn’t catch his name but he did really made us feel at home. On top of that, he helped us make our birthday celebrant have a wonderful time by singing to him a birthday song together with the other employees. Thank you for being our waiter.

As soon as we walked in, we were smacked with a terrible odor comparable only to that of a stale, wet sock. We continued forward with hopes that the scent would fade as we got to our seats but no, it was BAD. How about we switch to hardwood floors if there’s potential of our carpets holding such rancid odors… The fresh air we breathed once we stepped foot outside after dinner was immaculate. Poor restaurant employees…

The service here is very slow. It took the server 10 minutes to acknowledge our presence. It took him another 10 minutes to bring out our drinks(just water). Clam chowder was fine, but the mussel bowl was overcooked. After we finished our clam chowder, the server said that the order was not keyed in and asked for our order again. This time the food was quick(15ish minutes for the entrée). The food was good overall, but it took almost an hour to get have our clam chowder was a bit long. I may not come back to this location.

Food took forever to come out… Almost an hour. Food was over cooked and server was kinda slow and forget but get this. They weren’t even busy. I didn’t want to be mean to the server because I know it wasn’t his fault. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to come to this location.

The service was pleasant, the food was pretty good. Red Lobster continues to be pretty generic across the board. Their menu is pretty static, but that could be viewed as a good thing I suppose. They are consistent if nothing else.

Went at 1 p. m on a Saturday — no wait for table. Attentive and polite staff. All the food was excellent and arrived quickly. Everything was cooked perfectly, and all 6 of us enjoyed our meal. The downside was the drinks. The tea was super watered down and the soft drinks were flat. Other than the drinks, we very much enjoyed our meal.

I went here for my aunt’s birthday party, I’m pretty sure we both agreed to never come back here again, the waiter was okay friendly, it took a 2 hour wait just to get our food out and there weren’t even that many people that night, we ordered an appetizer but the waiter never even got the food to us(good thing he deducted it off our bill) but overall the food was okay. Would not come back nor recommend.

Out of way too many standard items like baked potatoes, broccoli, asparagus, sauces, salad dressing, krutons, lettuce just to name few. Had to wait for drinks because glasses and salad dishes were dirty. Drove 30 miles for this? Never again!

So, Red Lobster is Red Lobster. Another typical chain restaurant that I don’t really go to very often. Although they don’t actually take reservations, they do take call-ins. I never really understood this, but it was a Saturday night so I had to do something to avoid an hour wait. I called in about an hour before I arrived and told them what time I was going to show up. When I did, there was a long line out the door, but I only waited about 10 minutes before getting seated. I definitely recommend doing this! Biscuits(5⁄5) — These biscuits are just always amazing. Buttery, fresh, warm, delicious(and free.) Lobster Artichoke and Seafood Dip(4⁄5) — Lobster AND cheese in a dip? YESPLEASE. There was a decent amount of lobster in it, and it was delicious. I got this expecting more of a spinach dip kind of dish. but it’s much more like a queso cheese dip with artichokes in it. Pretty large portion served with lots of chips! Parmesan Crusted Chicken Alfredo(2⁄5) — Chicken dish at a seafood place? What do you expect? It was much more like mac and cheese than alfredo. The sauce was way too heavy and cheesy and looked like a kid’s meal. The breading fell off the chicken, and it was a little dry. The first few bites were good, but I couldn’t eat any more than that. Crusted Stuffed Tilapia(2⁄5) — It seems this place likes cheese. A lot of cheese. The menu didn’t specify what the«stuffed» part was, but it almost just seemed like a crust and another heavy, too-cheesy cream sauce smothered all over the tilapia. The fish was cooked well, but it was another one of those dishes you can’t really finish. Shrimp Combo(4⁄5) — I can’t remember the exact name of the dish, but this is what I got. It came with garlic butter shrimp, butterfly shrimp, and shrimp alfredo. The garlic butter shrimp was so tasty and my personal favorite. The butterfly shrimp were fried to perfection. The alfredo was too heavy and cheesy, again. But still, this was definitely the best entrée of the night. The hostesses were really sweet when we arrived. Our server, Theresa, was sweet and definitely knew what she was doing. Our drinks were never less than halfway, she checked up on us multiple times, and even went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Thoroughly impressed because you don’t get this kind of service at most Red Lobster’s I’ve been to. Not a bad choice if you do decide to go to a Red Lobster. Just stick to the shellfish, because that’s what they’re good at.

Salt. Salt. Salt! Even their Caesar salad was salty! It’s your typical chain restaurant with mediocre food items. Wonderful customer service though!

Saturday Night Date Night– So much food and for a good price! Alcoholic drinks+appetizers+salads+soup+entrée+shared dessert= ~$ 67.00 not inc tip Seated right away, no waiting, nothing. Kind hostess, kind waitress. Food: Good. Typical of any Red Lobster. I ordered the 4 course meal. came with salad, clam chowder, choice of entrée(I had the chicken linguine cajun) and also comes with brownie a la mode. So good. Everything was tasty! They give you so much food, that by the time my entrée came out I was too full to even eat it– I took it to go… But somehow I still had room for the dessert? $ 16.99 for all this I believe Appetizers: We got the coconut shrimp– although if you get the 4 course meal, don’t get a separate appetizer. Why did I do this? Drinks: I wish they had the price of wine listed on the menu. I find that a bit misleading and annoying, but it’s not their fault, its a corporate problem. I had a glass of Robert Mondavi Chardonnay. It was very good, apple hints to it, which I love! Service: Waitress was so nice and very polite, and really good at her job. The server was very good too. The server did not just drop off our plates and take off, she stopped, took her time, and asked if we needed anything. Kudos to our waitress. She was amazing!

Red Lobster is as mediocre as it gets for seafood. One step above Long John Silvers and far below any restaurant that would call themselves a seafood restaurant. I get sucked in when I see specials like the endless shrimp. But in fairness, the prices match the quality so it’s a reasonable choice. Just never anything special. The only stand-out thing at Red Lobster is the biscuits. But on my last visit, those tasted like something was missing. They were still good though. In my opinion, Red Lobster is a safe choice. You’ll never be totally disappointed but you’ll never be overly excited about your experience.

We come every once in a while and I had gift cards so we put them to good use. I had the crab lover’s something and it was great. How can you mess up crab legs with melted butter? Yum yum! Still have the best rolls!

Thank you Rachelle for taking such good care of my motley crew tonight. Lots of activity and craziness. Our final meal before we send our one grandson home to Pittsburgh in the morning. Thanks for taking such good care of us.

The service was really kind and attentive. They gave us enough time to order and made sure we were satisfied. I ordered the 4 course with Gumbo, Caesar Salad, shrimp/scallop fettuccini, and the chocolate brownie for 15.99. My brother ordered the Admiral’s Feast for 18.49. Our salads came out almost immediately. The gumbo was average, bland. Th salad was good however. He asked them how long it’ll be till our entrees would be out. Our waitress said she would check and literally two minutes later, our food arrived! The fettuccini was delicious, a bit salty but I didn’t mind. The admiral’s feast was huge. My brother had said it only tasted average though. We ended up to-going his meal and had a full box. So pretty big, fulfilling portions. The desert was tiny, but good. Overall, this place was average. Nothing too grand but not terrible.

Waited long time to be seated while no one cleaned at least 5 – 6 empty tables with previous diners’ leftovers. Most servers are summer students lack of training. The young manager(Cat?) is literally cleaning the table and serving the food, instead of managing her crew and taking care of customers. While waiting, asked if oyster is available, the reception guy talked to Kitchen and said yes. After sat down and ordered the food, the waiter told they didnot have oyster! Should be honest. The food becomes pricy recently, average dish is above $ 20. The waiter completely disappeared after I asked need to talk to manager. As one of our family favorite restaurants, this evening experience was very disappointed. Need better management.

I have never been so baffled by a single dish of food… in a bad way. My order was the Bar Harbor Lobster Bake, priced at $ 24.95, and I think the more accurate name for this dish is Big Deluxe Linguini. The menu picture is usually only for reference, but when the actual dish arrived, it looked so far off from the reference. I counted ten medium to small shrimps, seven mussels, a split large scallop, and a split lobster tail. The rest of the dish was heavily packed with linguini to look deceptively large portion. The worst part was that the sparse seafood was not fresh and shrunk. If you are into overpriced, small portion frozen seafood, here is your place.

Great service from our waiter. Didn’t catch his name but he was very nice and patient while I was being very indecisive with my meal choice lol Bread came out and it was fresh! Crispy on the outside and steamy fresh in the inside. So good. Not like a few years back, I got cold old batches. Was a little bummed, no oysters last night. So i just shared the rock lobster w/12 oz ny steak for 30 bucks. It was more than enough to fill me and hubby. Mashed potatoes were so good I should have gotten double order of it. This dish put capital grille to shame, I enjoyed this steak so much better. Definitely coming back in the future.
