Old school. Drinks are consistently great. Boba is always sweet and cooked perfectly. Cheaper. Favorite drink here: Strawberry Milk Tea with Tapioca

Dulce gives consistently good results with their tapioca and milk teas. Their service is always so nice as well. My favorite is their classic milk tea which has a lot of nuanced flavors and is so unique compared to other tapioca places. I love that they provide games for people, and their little display in the store with mini foods is really cute.

My favorite teahouse in the area. Drinks are refreshing, not liquid sugar like most of the other places. I usually order any of the fruit teas, but occasionally get a frio or milky blend.

This place is such a gem! It transports one from the busy streets near Towne Center in Sugar Land. Being inside the restaurant/coffee joint, I felt transplanted from the busyness outside and was able to find peace inside. I had a raspberry latte, and it was divine! My friend had a milk mango tea and was quite satisfied all day as well. This was just what we needed post-lunch. I know where I’ll be returning if I need a quick and non-corporate hit of caffeine.

I had the regular milk tea with boba. Not the best out there but decent. I also tried my friend’s mango milk tea with boba and disliked it. The two tastes did not mix well for me. I would try it again if I was in the neighborhood but it would not be my go to tap place.

I’ve been coming here for many years, going from one of the youngest customers to now… not-so-young. The nostalgia factor tempts me to bump this up to a five since I will always return to this place whenever I come back home, but I’ll try to be honest. I think Dulce has the best tapioca in Sugar Land. That said, the competition is quite lacking. I don’t know if Dulce would be able to compete with some of the places in Chinatown though as far as quality goes. The drinks can sometimes be just a tad watered down(just a tad!), but the tapioca balls have a perfect amount of chew to them. My go-to is the Almond Milk Tea. Many places’ almond milk teas are awkwardly powdery(I really don’t understand), but thankfully, Dulce doesn’t suffer from that. I always ask for less ice though because they tend to add too much for my liking otherwise. Their other drinks are solid too, though. Because this is THE place to go for tap in SL, that means you’ll get all the middle and high schoolers dropping by here after school and especially on holidays. There aren’t that many seats or table space as well, so it’s a bit of a toss-up if you come expecting to hang out with friends. Due to the limited space and essential monopoly on the tapioca market here, during peak hours it’ll always be loud and rowdy so if you’re expecting to study during those times, you might want to try elsewhere. Other random points: Free wifi, some board games, and they’re sometimes closed on unpredictable days.

This is one of the best bubble tea places in Sugar Land before Tea Bar & Teahouse came along. The tapioca balls are just right, not too sweet and not too sticky. My favorite is the Thai Iced Tea with tapioca balls. It is the best! Stamp cards are available, but they do not combine, so make sure you use the same stamp card.

The bubble tea is pretty standard fare, not too bad, not too good. Fairly good location, right by a major mall but isn’t too busy/hard to get to. They do have wifi and seems like a fairly chill place to hang out with people. I can see if getting crowded easily though. Overall standard bubble tea but good location and amenities.

I usually only come here if I happen to be in the area. The price is a little higher, but they are better than Teahouse down the street. I’ve had better drinks at other places, so this place is just ok. I really dislike their store hours… I mean… who opens at noon? They should at least open at 11, and I don’t get why they close on a Sunday when they could be gaining a lot of business. They do have stamp cards though. To each is their own.

Great tapioca. Not too sweet and the tapioca balls are chewy. A nice location to hang out with friends and even play some of their board games. Location is quite small though, and becomes crowded with high schoolers easily. The owners can be quite stingy about their resources, which is understandable that only customers should have access to restrooms and wifi, but sometimes they will even treat customers a bit rudely because of their over-cautiousness.

Have tried all tapioca drink places in the area and this has the best flavor. What lowers stars? Price and hygiene. Employees grab the money and then grab the unwrapped straws. Nasty!!! Get straws that are wrapped or let customers grab their own.

Dulce you are near and dear to my heart! For years, you have had some of the best boba in Houston. I still remember when I was in middle/high school, you used to decorate your walls with student ID’s. Time has passed, but the qualities that have kept Dulce as everyone’s favorite tapioca stop in Sugar Land remain. Dulce’s location right by town center and the mall only make its creamy blends and perfectly chewy boba all the more irresistible. Every time.

I enjoyed obnoxiously shaking dice around in a cup to play Pirates of the Caribbean’s super legit version of Liar’s Dice while sipping my delicious red bean creamy blend. They have really, really good fresh fruit«creamy blends», but their regular milk teas aren’t spectacular. I don’t remember much of my other experiences, but I also don’t remember anything particularly negative, so four stars for you and your creamy blends, Dulce Tapioca!

The moment we drank our drinks at dulce, my wife connected her eyes with mine and instantly I knew she found her go-to place for drinks. Before you know it, we were laughing, spinning around on tables, singing the hills are alive a la Julie Andrews… Ok, maybe I’m over dramatizing the experience, but the drinks are pretty darn good. My wife got the mango black tea(requested not sweet) and I got the iced latte, via their recommendation. My wife’s was excellent. They got the order down to the«t»(no pun intended) and my wife was soooo happy. They did not get the order wrong(like other places where you tell them no sweet or 1⁄3 sweet, only to drink it to find out they gave you 1⁄3 more sugar). My latte was surprisingly very strong, well balanced, and probably the better ones I’ve tasted so far in this city. I have to get it again to make sure this is not a fluke(but pretty sure it wasn’t). I don’t think their drinks are overpriced, compared to places like tea bar and organics. Actually I think it is on the inexpensive side, which is surprising considering you’re in Sugar Land. This place is a casual environment where you can also play some board games –and have some good old fashioned fun.

Go to place for tapioca and hangouts. Definitely a staple afternoon hangout when I was back in high school and I always make a point to go whenever I visit home now. All their milk teas are really good and the coffee with ice cream drinks are delicious. I will say that it’s always a little difficult around the holidays because they tend to be on vacation around then and as a result the store will be closed for a few days. The staff is super friendly and if you go often enough, they’ll know what your usual is. Miss this place all the time.

I ordered the fresh strawberry and banana smoothie. Too sweet and overly blended, very disappointed. Will not be returning

Expensive, sometimes randomly closed, and always full of high schoolers on weekdays. That being said, the drinks are pretty good. I always get the vanilla milky blend and it’s amazing. Good for when you’re in the area, otherwise try Bellaire tapioca houses

I love that Sugar Land finally has a good tapioca store. I can here yesterday to meet up a friend who is regular there. Their lavender milk tea was just phenomenal! The owners had recently come back from Asia and their store was packed. It was so busy that they ran out of tapioca! I would recommend everyone try the Rose Red Tea, Jasmine Green Milk Tea, or Lavender Milk Tea with lychee jelly. Yes, I know it sounds weird but the lychee jelly just blends so well with the lavender. Those 3 are my personal favorite but every drink there is probably just as good. The only reason why I did not give this place a 5 star is because they randomly close sometimes. There have been numerous times where I have gone to meet up a friend and it ends up being closed. Even with its random closures, the store is booming! I think the business speaks for itself when they have random closures but can still keep a packed house! Time to get your tapioca on!

I work in stafford but I had to make my weekly trek to Richmond. Since there was traffic I wanted to get a banh mi and a tapoica drink so I went to don café across from Dulles HS and got my sandwich. Keep in mind Boba Bar is next door!!! But I didn’t go there!!! I jumped onto 59 and headed south to Dulce! So far Dulce, has yet to let me down. I haven’t tried everything on the menu, but their pineapple smoothie(milk) is freakin awesome! The tapioca are always cooked correctly and are nice and soft. I’m not sure how they do it but my drink is never sour unlike many other spots around town. I would say it is even better than Kim’s. Kim’s however has other flavors that I like. Ie lychee and watermelon and they sell banh mi there as well.

Dulce is my absolute favorite place to get tapioca when im in Sugarland. Im rarely up here, so its always treat when i do get it and I will go out of the way to stop by this place. The tapioca is the perfect chewiness and sweetness. The drinks are consistent. Theyre not too sweet and on some of the drinks, youre able to change the sweetness level. Youre not able to change the sweetness for the Thai tea unfortunately. The employees are always friendly and patient with you when youre placing your order. They have some computers for customers to use while there. There are also stamp cards which is an extra plus! I love places with stamp cards. ;) Theres an extensive menu, so you have a lot of options! I haven’t ventured off too much. I’ve had the Thai tea and strawberry orange tea. Both are delicious! This place is a must try!
