My coworker bragged about this sandwich shop so I was super excited to try it. This was my first time at Firehouse Subs and chose the Steak and Cheese sandwich. Worst sandwich I’ve ever had and you can’t mess this sandwich up, ever. It was dry, bland and the onions and peppers had no taste! Just gross. I thought I mightve just ordered the wrong thing, but I brought back a Momma’s chicken salad sandwich for another coworker and she said she was not impressed either and equally as grossed out. HUGEFAIL!!! What a waste of $ 19!!!

Review for the Veggie Hot Sub: Nothing to rave about unfortunately. I got the $ 8 large sub with the mushrooms and wasn’t impressed. Think Quizno’s is a better deal.

Been here twice and hands down the best subs. The BEST meatball sub in town(better than subway). The Firehouse Meatball has all the right seasoning and the right balance of bread to meat ratio. Friendly service and well maintained place.

Two visits here. The first time I tried the New York Steamer, cause I love corned beef and this was a great sandwich. Full of flavor and just the right size. On my second visit I decided on the Steak & Cheese. It did not meet my expectations unfortunately. I ordered it with provolone, light mayo, onions, bell peppers, and no mustard. The veggies were quite thick and I usually like a thin slice that enhances the meat instead of overpowering it. I ended up picking out most of it and hardly tasted the cheese. They do have the coke machine with all the flavors you can add which is always a plus for me. Overall I do like this place as an option for hot sandwiches and will be back to try some other varieties. Oh yeah and I did get my free drink with Unilocal check-in!

The best subs ever!!! I always get the roasted turkey sub and it is delicious! The barbeque sauce in the sandwich complements the meat so well. If you like it spicy, make sure to add jalepenos!

Always friendly service. Always good sandwiches. What’s a Subway? That has been my question since finding Firehouse. No comparison.

Firehouse Subs are hands down the best sandwiches. Subway, Quiznos, etc. don’t even compare to this place. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and quick sub.

Still THE best sandwich shop ever. They never disappoint… I am a sandwich snob so I know! I cant even entertain eating a subway sammy without laughing out loud. My grandson visited from Pittsburgh this summer and still asks if I can send him a firehouse sub in the mail. So worth it. These sammies rock but the employees are hard to beat. Always friendly helpful and courteous. Management sure has high standards.

Hands down, the best sandwich shop I’ve found since moving from Boston in 2012. I say this because I love corned beef and no place around here comes close to what I’m used to, until I found Firehouse. Great job! Delicious sandwiches, loaded with meat, great bread. The owner and the employees are extremely nice too! A real treat!

Ever get tired of Subway or Quiznos? Go to Firehouse Subs! All subs come with pickles and chips I believe(correct me if i’m wrong). Love it!

Best subs in Sugar Land! Try the NY steamer — so good! I’ve driven by this place so many times, but I’ve never taken the time to stop by until now. Great warm, chewy bread filled with hot, moist, tender meats smothered with melted cheese. You can’t go wrong with that. A large sub will go for about $ 8(around the same price as a medium meal), so it’s pretty affordable. It’s also quite filling.

This place is definitely underrated! Nothing beats a warm sub, especially one from Firehouse Subs. They come in 2 sizes(regular or large) and the regular is enough to leave me stuffed. The bread is soft and chewy and their meats are flavorful and moist. I’ve tried several and all have been delicious(except the Steak & Cheese which was a little dry) but my favorite will always be the Italian.

I was out riding the motorcycle and decided I was hungry and in the mood for something warm and toasty… Saw this firehouse and decided was a good a spot as any as it was right of hwy6 . Walked in and was greeted by all the employees as a long lost friend. Ordered my meatball and sat down and started checking out the decorations. Before I knew it out came the food and I was chowing down . Service was fast and prompt. food was hot and fresh, and for a chain restaurant darn good

How has this joint been hidden from me for years? I’ve seen a branch of Firehouse Subs in Austin, but never noticed the one in my hometown, Sugar Land. I’m glad I did, because now I have a new go-to sandwich place. The owners and staff are fast and friendly. Soft, chewy bread. Flavorful, steamed meats. Reasonable prices. I will be back.

Super nice counter people and prompt service. The online ordering is pretty easy too. I went and got a large because I wasn’t sure if the regular would fill me up and oh my god it was huge. The sandwiches are well prepared and they have the cool new coke machine that you can make any drink you want.
