Awful service. They ruined the outfit. They must have washed it instead of drycleaning because the trim shrank and the colors bled onto the fabric. After 3 weeks of back and forth, the manager had not responded to us, and they kept blaming how the cotton and silk outfit was made for the problem. The clerks were completely unhelpful. Their tagline should be: PILGRIM’S – we do it WRONG and charge you a lot of money!

I’ve been here several times in the past for my dry cleaning and laundry needs, but there were issues in regards to the last two times. With the first time, upon closer inspection of the clothing, there were several buttons that were damaged in the launder process. Though it was a minor set back, it was not a big deal. The issue that led me to write the review was due to a verbal altercation with a staff member while picking up my dry cleaning. With the previous visits, the dry cleaning and laundry were discounted a certain percentage and I thought nothing of it at the time. With the last pick up, there were no discounts and I wasn’t really concerned about that. I went ahead to pay for the service and it was the comments afterwards from the clerk that led to the issue. When the clerk stated that I should use coupons the next time over the bill, I told her that the bill appeared to have discounts already applied during my last few visits. The clerk retaliated in a defensive manner, repeatedly insisting that coupons were the customer’s duty and assuming I was wrong, even after stating that I could show previous receipts from the establishment that had the discounts applied, considering I’ve never used a coupon here in the first place. It wasn’t until after a few words back and forth to each other was when she finally stated that the coupons might have been from ones lying around the place that were complementary, in which if there were none left then it was up to the customer to supply them. I didn’t mind paying the price in itself(which were quite pricey at $ 17 for dry cleaning a two piece and $ 2 for each laundered piece), what I did mind was the condescending tone from the clerk. How was I to know that the discounts from previous visits were just ones that were lying around the store considering I’ve never directly presented one myself? Had the clerk explained that this was the case in the beginning and in a tone that’s conductive to customer service, there wouldn’t even be an issue in the first place. I’m willing to take my business elsewhere because the customer service aspect is a lost art for some of the staff members here.
