Amazing, tender, fresh off the grill meat! Probably the most tender ribs and chicken BBQ I have ever had in the Houston area. The fresh baked dinner rolls are a great touch too. Not to mention the creamy coleslaw as well.

OK. This is the best BBQ we’ve found in Sugar Land, but it’s nit going to really impress you. They have lean beef, which is nice, the ribs are decent and the chicken is pretty good — not dried out. The Coleslaw is really good, but the mac and cheese is super duper artificial tasting.

Spring Creek is pretty great as a quick and convenient barbecue buffet. I came here for the first time with my large family, and we all left pretty satisfied and VERY full. Ambience is rustic and very casual — you just sit down wherever you want. You can order up to three different types of meat, choosing between chicken, turkey, beef, two types of sausage, and pork ribs, but they won’t let you order an additional meat. Then, you go down the aisle and grab as many sides as you want. Each meal also comes with a sizable fluffy roll, and they have someone walking around offering out more complimentary rolls. If you’re a health nut like my cousin, they also have large chopped salads that look pretty fresh. I tried the ribs, pepper sausage, and beef brisket with sides of mac & cheese, potato salad, and green beans. The meat was fairly good and flavorful, but keep in mind that this isn’t a super quality barbecue joint. The brisket was my favorite. It was super juicy and tender, albeit a bit too fatty for my liking. Everything was pretty great doused in their tangy and sweet bbq sauce. They also have a dessert bar in the back, offering a selection of bluebell ice creams and peach cobbler. We ordered a peach cobbler with vanilla bluebell for the family to share. Like the food, it was decently yummy. However, I do want to note that the dessert bar isn’t manned at all times. The same girl who hands out the rolls is also in charge of the dessert station, apparently. We waited for quite a while for her to come back to the station, and when she did get there, she was sort of snotty. We requested extra bowls so the family could share, and she was pretty huffy about it. Overall, this is a nice place. The food is fast and decent. I’m not sure if I would come again on my own accord though.

Awesome BBQ, Awesome people, wished I lived in Spring so I could come here more. Although Unilocal put’s it in Sugarland, it IS on Highway 2920 — but in Klein TX(thought I was still in Spring Texas).
