Came in on a sunday night questioning if we should be here, it was kinda dead. My server maurice was awsome though, food was mediocre but definitely will be going back. Thanks maurice!

I ordered a meat-filled omelette, my sister ordered a salad, and my wife ordered the chicken littles. We also got the tiramisu cheesecake. Pros: huge portions, great area, and nice décor. Cons: the food wasn’t too flavorful.

Went here tonight for dinner and truly wish we would have went somewhere else. The food wasn’t very good and our server Maurice was HORRIBLE. We were a party of four, our appetizer took so long to arrive that one entrée was served two minutes after the appetizer. The rest of the table waited about 10 more minutes to receive food. Never once did Maurice check on us or see why our food was taking so long. We ordered cheesecake to go — they gave us the smallest sliver of cheesecake I have ever seen, but certainly charged the full $ 7.95 for it. Based on tonight’s experience I highly doubt I will ever give this establishment my money again

Went here because we had gift cards to burn. We were told it would be a 20 minute wait but it was really a 30 minute wait for a table, followed by another 10 minute wait for the waiter to arrive. They ran out of the wheat bread. It took 50 minutes to get our food after ordering. I ordered the parmesan crusted chicken. The sauce was good, but the outer layer of chicken had the texture and consistency of beef jerky as if it had been set out for a while and the moisture was sapped out of it. When I told the waiter about it, he said that it was supposed to be that way and offered to bring out more sauce to offset the dryness. I’m pretty sure the dish isn’t supposed to be this way. We had free cheesecakes that came along with buying the gift cards, so we decided to get some on the way out. After receiving our cakes, I noticed a lady wearing a microphone poking at the cakes in the storage fridge with her bare finger to test their firmness. Gross.

My mom and I had a lunch date and she suggested that we go to Cheesecake Factory. I’ve been there a couple of times before and her office goes often. We’ve never had anything remarkable about our experiences… until today. We order the mini crab cakes, California Guacamole salad and an order of the grilled fish tacos. We start digging into our food and my mom takes a couple of bites out of her salad. All of the sudden, she spits out something on her plate, with a look of horror on her face. «What’s wrong?» I ask What she bit into and spat out was a WHOLE. FREAKING. ACRYLIC. NAIL. It still had the nail polish on it. We immediately told our waiter who then alerted the assistant manager. He arrives with this goofy smile,” I hear someone found a surprise in their salad?” Um. Yes, we found one of your worker’s fake nails in our food and my mom bit into it. As someone that has been in the service industry for 8 years and our family owns a restaurant/sports bar, I’ve never seen an incident like this before. Everyone knows that food prep/handling requires gloves to be mandatory and quality control, especially for a huge franchise, should be standard practice. This is completely unacceptable.(They are lucky that my mom is innately groomed and still maintained some sort of composure. Had it been anyone else, they would vomit everywhere and sue the shit out of them) So now, that we found a bit of human in our food. My question to management is, how do you do damage control? Where do we go on from here? He says sorry.(ok.) He says we will find who did this(not that it affects us at the moment but I hope so, for other people’s sake) He asks if we would like anything else?(Um, why would we want more food from you?) He says our meal is comped.(No shit, we hadn’t even eaten anything besides the fake nail and some crab cakes.) He says maybe we should focus on good things to get over it, …“like the New Year! Perhaps unicorns?”(i stared at him.) Then we find out that he is just an assistant manager and ask to speak to the GM. «Of course.» Comes back and brings us… the head chef! The head chef straight up says«I honestly don’t know what to say to you guys besides sorry and I promise this won’t happen again.» Great talk. Finally, the GM(Wes) arrives and actually says the same line of «I hear you found an unexpected surprise in the food?»(As if our salad was a kinder egg and that purple varnished crusty nail is a toy). We repeat the story to him and he says the same things. The only difference is he gave us a form to fill out so that he could send to corporate about the incident. I asked him what is their usual protocol for something of this nature? He snapped, «Um, we are doing it right now.» Great job, Cheesecake Factory. Body bits in food and terrible management to handle it. I recommend you to not come, especially to the Sugarland location.

Came here with my two sisters and I wanted to treat them at this place. It was a rainy Sunday but it was still crowded and packed. I asked the hostess how long the wait for 3 people. She stated about 10 mins.(She lied it was about 20 mins+). They knew we weren’t going to leave if we were already waiting 10 mins in! When we finally got called we got seated in the booths. Our table was still dirty but the staff apologized and finished cleaning up. Our waiter came by a few mins later to take our drink order. So for the food we decided on the crab and artichoke dip. My sister got the farfalle with chicken and roasted garlic pasta, my other sister settled for the grilled salmon salad, and I ordered the spinach bacon eggs Benedict. They gave us complimentary bread with butter. They were both delicious! Our appetizer was good. A tad bit pricey for the portion and it was a bit spicy but I say 4⁄5 stars. My sisters enjoyed their entrée. I got to try a bit of the pasta but something about it wasn’t right. I like to say the pasta may not be cooked right and with it dousing in the sauce it was okay. I didn’t try my other sister’s salad. Only the salmon which was yummy. It was not fishy and it was cooked just right. As for my dish… it was a bit disappointing. I love eggs but I like them cooked right. Unfortunately, one of them was cooked as a hard boiled egg. Fortunately the waiter was nice enough to give mr another poached egg but I ended up letting my sister have it with her salad. The breakfast potatoes were crispy and tasty but I don’t think it was that great for me to come back to eat. I probably be back if someone invites me but I definitely won’t be suggesting to go here. There are plenty of other places or different locations to go to.

My favorite breakfast joint now. Their egg benedict and french toast rock house. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because they are only available on Sunday brunch menu. These should be available every day.

This is an interesting chain. My wife loves tiramisu, and we’re always trying to find one that is as good as the cake we used to get at a place called sweet life patisserie in Eugene, Oregon. There are two types of tiramisu at the cheesecake factory — cheesecake tiramisu and traditional. We got a whole tiramisu cake for $ 50 and everyone seemed to love it. It wasn’t as good as sweet life’s but it is a good substitute. One drawback was that they freeze the cakes. It had to thaw before we ate it, which seemed to effect the consistency and texture. Overall, well probably go back

We came around 9 pm on a Thursday night just for some desserts. We were seated quickly in a nice booth in the back. our waiter was quick to take our order, and our two cheesecakes were out quickly as well. We got the Reese’s cheesecake and the salted caramel cheesecake. Both were delicious. My one complaint falls with the cleanliness of the restaurant. Between the four stalls in the women’s restaurant, only one of them had toilet paper. This is completely unacceptable for a restaurant, especially given there was a decent amount of people still dining. There were also a number of dirty tables with what appeared to be no urgency of the staff to get them cleaned off and properly reset. We sat next to a dirty table for the entire 30 minutes we dined in, which was a bit unappealing. Overall, decent service and delicious cheesecake. Perfect for a quick round of dessert.

I usually avoid this chain like the plague because the average entrée could feed a family of 4 for a week. But with the promise of a new lighter menu, my folks talked us into going over the weekend. The verdict: the skinny menu has good stuff and doesn’t make you feel like you’re being penalized for being on a diet. Knocking a star off for service. We had a great server, but there are breakdowns in communication — we were seated at a table by the hostess before the server had a chance to finish cleaning it. Props to the server for fixing this without being asked. The food could stand to come out of the kitchen a little faster. End result: we’ll visit again. I’ll even pay the $ 6 to valet the car as finding an open parking space in this corner of First Colony is a chore.

I’ve been to this Cheesecake Factory many times. If you order the pasta dishes and cheesecake, they are generally consistently good. Other dishes can be hit or miss. The dishes are more pricey, so expect to pay more. If you are vegetarian, it is best to avoid. I’ve been here a few times with a vegetarian group, and every time, it seems like they always mess up the orders and serve something with meat. One time, it took them such a long time to serve the food that we even considered leaving. The last time I was there, my friend and I ordered coffee and cheesecake. The waiter did not even give us napkins! The caramel macchiato coffee was ok, but I felt it could’ve been better if it was hotter. We had the Tuxedo Cream cheesecakeand Chris’s Outrageous Cheesecake, which were both very delicious!

I give our table’s server a full 5-stars. Extremely patient, competent, knowledgeable, and an all-around nice guy. The bartender gets negative-5 stars. My bro-in-law requested an off-menu drink… Which is predictable that he would, given that the Cheesecake Factory is not well known for being culinarily ultra innovative and everything on the menu is about as avant garde as Beef Wellington in the year 2055. I get that. But when a customer asks for a drink, and TELLS you what goes in the drink because you’re too douchey to google it for yourself, and you’re just too set in your old ways to even learn a new drink so you flat out refuse to make it for this customer… well now you’re just solidifying the reason why vacuous bints frequent this G-d forsaken, wannabe-on-the-Vegas-strip gaudy restaurant. Oh yes, and thanks for charging my sister an extra $ 5 for 4 pieces of shrimp. Verdict: Why do we even bother.

We stopped by for some after dinner dessert and coffee, and since that’s all we wanted, we opted to sit in the bar area. We sat there for about 10 minutes wondering if someone was going to wait on us or if we were supposed to go up to the bar to order our food. Finally a waiter came along, and it looked like he was the only one waiting on the tables in the bar area, and he did apologize for taking a while, and he said it was because he was trying to gather tableware for us. Since we knew what we wanted we ordered 2 coffees and a slice of the Ultimate Red Velvet cheesecake. When we got our coffee, mine was hot, but my wife’s decaf was actually room temperature. Since it took a while for it to come out, she didn’t want to make a big deal of it and just drank it while we ate the delicious slice of cheesecake. We were hoping to get coffee refills before we finished our slice of cake, especially since hers was cold. Finally, our waiter showed up and she asked for regular coffee this time, since we assumed they weren’t brewing fresh hot decaf. After we finished our meal, funny enough, our waiter was quick to give us our bill, and even cash us out quickly. It’s been a while since we’ve been to the Cheesecake Factory and i’m hoping service wasn’t this bad in the regular dining area. Although our waiter was really nice and polite, I think they should have had more than just him stationed in that bar area.

I have been here at least a dozen times. It’s a safe choice when you can’t think of anywhere to go. It’s casual, yet nice. The menu is humongous, such a wide selection sure to satisfy everyone in the party. Favorite appetizer — sweet corn tamale cakes Favorite salad — from their skinnylicious menu, they are less calories but HUGE and filling Favorite dinner entrée — fish tacos Favorite dessert — all their cheesecakes are great, depending on what flavors you are drawn to! Service — we have always had pleasant experiences here. There was a little bit of mistake in our entrée today, the manager took it off the bill immediately and offered us a free giant piece of cheesecake, how nice! Ambiance — looks like a fancy restaurant, but the price is very reasonable

Food is okay, everyone comes here for the cheesecake anyways. Our waiter got most of our order wrong but he was nice, food took forever to come out and the hostess can use a touch up with her choice of words. The hostess literally asked«which one are you» when I came up with my buzzer thing to be seated. And for all the above you will get exactly 15% tip.

At 10:30pm, you really won’t find many options in the Sugar Land area. If you see cheesecake factory pop up in Unilocal, just pretend it’s closed and keep searching. Our party arrived at 10:30, and while we were the only ones waiting for a table, it took the staff almost 15 minutes to seat us. I ordered a Pesto Pasta w/chicken, which rang up to $ 17.95(and was worth about $ 5). The food itself was completely forgettable. The pesto sauce with the pasta tasted like water was its main component. The chicken tasted like it was pulled straight out of a freezer and dumped onto the dish. The only reason I’m giving Cheesecake Factory a 2* and not a 1* is because it lives up to its name — the cheesecake itself is not bad at all(though a bit pricey).

This Cheesecake Factory is located in the Town Center/First Colony Mall area. There is plenty of parking available around that area due to the shopping centers that surround it. The interior is well-decorated. Lighting has a nice feel to it and the service is pretty good. This place is a good place to bring family and for special occasions as well. I had one of the pastas and I must say that it was pretty darn good. It’s really about picking the right dish. I can’t say everything they have here is amazing, but the one I picked was just right! Bonus: On your birthday, they give you a free ice cream sundae(It used to be cheese cake). All in all, I thought this place was pretty good. It’s a nice place for celebration. I can’t say its my favorite place, but once in awhile is fine.

Worst CF I’ve ever had the non-pleasure of dining… Seated and server acted like our table was the last one he wanted to wait on. Got my sister’s order wrong… he didn’t just get it wrong, he chose FORHER instead of clarifying which option she wanted. I wasn’t paying attention but being that she doesn’t eat shrimp, I’m more than certain she said she wanted fish tacos. He brought her shrimp and she bout died lol not a problem, he took them back. I ordered my staple, lemon herb roasted chicken. That was the smallest, and overcooked half a chicken I’ve seen EVER in the history of my many, MANY years ordering this at TCF. I immediately raised the flag and the mgr came over. Of course, I got her to agree the chicken was smaller than normal and she agreed to bring me some more. Only problem is, it took 30 minutes to get it and it wasn’t even cooked right. No lemon flavor… just some old plain roasted chicken with a touch of herbs. I will say it definitely looked more like a full grown chicken and not that freshly hatched out of the egg one I got previously. I guess waiter dude is mad now, he just brings me the check. Hmmm excuse you sir, but who the hell doesn’t ask if you want dessert at the damn CHEESECAKE factory? #WTDTA? Apparently Sugar Land! If you don’t bring me my damn kahlua cocoa coffee and my sister’s oreo dream, there’s gon be trouble, trouble up in this piece. Bout then, I was done… I’ll never venture back to this location #pass

(From the Delivery Guy Chronicles, vol. MCMXC…) Even though I showed up with a giant piece of kitchen machinery, Lyle was just as cool as could be, in spite of the fact that it was lunch hour, the company execs were in town and the kitchen was slammed. As a delivery guy, I’ve learned that if the back of the house has their act together, the front of the house will follow along. I’ll definitely be back, but as a paying guest!

The Cheesecake Factory, ah we meet again. Everywhere I go, everywhere important that is, I found one of these guys… Why? Because they serve great food everytime. I’ve never had a bad experience here. I know some who have, but they aren’t writing this review, are they? I write reviews based on MY experiences. I happen to write alot of positive reviews, and I am usually very pleasant to deal with. Coincidence? No. If you are nice to the waiter, the waiter is extra nice to you. Simple, really. We had an excellent Anniversary dinner here at the Sugar Land location, our server was phenomenal. Never have had better service! The drinks were awalys full, and the bread was overflowing. Not to mention our portions were enough for 2 meals a peice. It’s always gonna be pricey here, here’s why: Good Food = Money You definitely get what you pay for here, though. and since the price was high, the food proportionally sized and delicious.
