Juicy, flame-broiled burgers. Bacon is crispy. Avocado is fresh. Chili is homemade. They have salads, fries and onion rings for sides. It’s not inexpensive though. $ 42 for 3 burgers, 2 fries, one drink and a kids meal.

I may give this place another try, but next time I’ll take the recommendation I solicited from the cashier and try the fish and chips. I chose the fried calamari instead, which, like another reviewer mentioned tasted old and burnt. Burnt like your mother used to burn it. And tough, like orthodontic rubber bands. A few pieces were too hard to chew. It reminded me less of something bought fresh and prepared and more of something I’d have bought in the freezer section, something precooked, that while reheating got overcooked. It felt like a leftover is what I’m saying and it was 12+ bucks! The fries under it, though, were good.

Customer service is always terrible, make you feel like you are annoying them by being there. The food is ok, but not worth it, they also charge you for a tiny side of salsa with a breakfast burrito.

Just finished lunch. Had a chicken wrap that was very heavy on lettuce and very weak on chicken. Had fries and a soda with this lunch. I looked at reviews and they were mixed on the quality of the food. I have to agree, the quality of the wrap was less than I expected. More chicken and less lettuce would be a good start for rating this place higher. Service and atmosphere were okay.

Have been stopping in here for the last 20+ years when we found this place on our honeymoon while we spent a few days in Summerland. Just a small little joint, don’t expect anything fancy but great food & shakes! It’s also dog friendly with outdoor seating, which we needed the last couple of trips with our large dog. Worked out great! This time I got the BLT with avocado on sour dough. I didn’t expect it to be a double layered sandwich! It was the best I have ever had! Don’t forget to get a great shake too! But they close early now, at 2:30, so hurry up!

No, just no. I sat the entire time staring across the the street at the Nugget and Summerland Beach Café wishing I was there instead… my stomach hurts… I hope it taste better on its way back up… ugh

Where do I begin… We were at the beach looking for a nice local place to enjoy some fish tacos. So by the name I would assume Seaside meant we would get some decent fish. I ordered the fish and chips and my fiancé ordered the taco. Well they got nothing on the Gordons fisherman with their frozen deep fried what they call fish. The service was provided by two what looked like teenage girls that knew nothing about the menu. I can only tell you that this was a mistake when looking for value for our money. I only wish I could give negative stars. Also the mustard was so clogged and disgusting I pressed down on the plunger and it nearly sprayed on the lady sitting at the table nearby. Not the cleanest or the most inviting.

Not too bad a place. The food was decent, but they aren’t trying too hard to make you happy about being there. The mustard and catsup dispensers were reversed, and the mustard sprayed out of the spigot. I guess it was clogged with dried mustard. We got a plain turkey sandwich and a pulled pork sandwich. Each was good enough. Lots of people were coming in for the fish and chips, which seems to be their claim to fame.

There’s a sign in the restroom that says something about hot beer, lousy food, and bad service, but you know, I sort of expected it to be ironic. It wasn’t. Can’t say they didn’t warn me!

I feel like I grew up eating at Stacky’s. My family and I would always go there to eat dinner after a day at the beach. The décor is so cool, and I remember as a kid loving climbing to the front of the boat shaped seating area outside. It’s a completely unique restaurant, you will not find anything like it anywhere else. Beach Burger combo all the way — the breakfast burritos are to die for as well.

Food was great fast and affordable. Great customer service. I ordered the halibut with salad which was outstanding… my friend ordered a french dip, a must try, with grilled onions and swiss cheese. A place i would come back to for sure.

Great food! Good atmosphere, very laid back. The menu has sooooo many options. Lots of fried options, all delicious. There are no fruits or veggies here, but the burgers are fantastic! Summerland is a fantastic little town and this is a great burger joint to stop at.

Yuck, it’s not good. Clam chowder came out cold, and I mean really cold, so they were nice enough to stick it in the microwave for me. On top of the food being microwaved, there was a gross grease drum out by the bathroom and dirty kitchen items. Maybe should of tried a sandwich. Calimari was old and burned, but the hot dog was good so that’s what the one star is for.

The best thing about stackey’s is the ambiance. It’s an adorable, funky little beach shack decorated to the nines with paddles, old nautical stuff and fishing nets. The food is pretty good. I stick to the burgers but I think the best thing on the menu are the onion rings. They also serve corona & pacifico, as well as wine by the glass. Nice!

So many options at an affordable price! All food was fresh and fantastic. Got the pulled pork sandwich and the grilled sandwich and both were very good. We went at about 4 pm and there was only one other couple there. Can’t go wrong if you are looking for a quick, easy, and casual lunch

I stopped by this place driving down south from Paso Robles because my cousin recommended it. It is a cute little spot right off the fwy in a little area that takes you back to a different time period. It is very quaint and the gas station is super old school. The menu here is extensive and has all sorts of American options – salads, sandwiches, soups, burgers, wraps and fish. I went for the cod fish and chips. For a decent price I got 2 pieces of fish(you can get three) and fries. I would rate the fish about a 7. It was fried quite nicely and the portion was decent. This place is a perfect spot to just grab good food and get back on the road. Fast, easy and convenient. This will be the spot I hit up.

Maybe it is silly for us to think that a seafood restaurant 500 yards away from the beach would have some sort of local dish from a place overwhelmed with fishing décor. Maybe it’s too expensive. Maybe it goes bad too quickly unlike its frozen compadres. Just thought we might luck out and score a fresh fish catch. If they do, advertise that. We had the frozen, fried fish and bagged, frozen chips. Both sad and disappointing. I am still sweating out the salt from the fries. 10+ bucks seamed a bit much for what you’re paying for. Too bad that they have to depend on tourists traveling along the majestic 101, instead of a local following that might allow more creativity.

One of my favorite places ever! My favorite sandwich — the Top O Valencia. It’s huge. This sandwich has everything: roast beef, ham, turkey, avocado, bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese & mayo on sourdough bread. If I order fries with it, I’ll go ahead and get half of the sandwich wrapped to go. The burgers are great. My favorite is the Summerland burger it’s topped with bacon, lettuce, tomato, Jack cheese & avocado. I love the fries here and you get a lot. The menu is extensive. I’ve been eating here for about 15 years and I haven’t even tried half of it. Everything that I’ve eaten here has been good. Very relaxed atmosphere. I love the décor, low key nautical. Their outdoor seating is the perfect place for lunch. They are right off the 101 which makes it easy to stop in when coming from or going to Santa Barbara.

I admit to liking the grub at diners. Stacky’s Seaside is the epitome of a typical diner. It’s location is next to a freeway, the ambiance has a quirky beach bum appeal, and the food is all diner food like burgers, shakes, fries, sandwiches… you name it. I went to Stacky’s, because Summerland Winery across the street was still closed. So, my friends and I had about 40 minutes to grab a bite to eat. There had to have been a gazillion things on the menu, but I wanted a breakfast burrito. There is nothing like a having a nice hearty breakfast burrito that can fill you up and start your morning. I ordered mine with chorizo and paid a few extra quarters to add potato. After a few minutes, out came a humongous 10 inch breakfast burrito. Holy smokes! I couldn’t believe it! It was incredible. What I loved about this breakfast burrito was that it didn’t have rice and beans inside. It was not packed full of cheese either. This lovely burrito was all egg, all chorizo, lots of spiciness, and tons of potato slices the size of half dollars and fried like potato chips. It was one hell of a breakfast burrito! Yep, it required tactful eating so the juices from the chorizo doesn’t spill or splatter on you. The next time I’m on my way to Santa Barbara in the early mornings, I’m going to make a pit stop at Stacky’s Seaside in Summerland. The breakfast burrito is worth every bite.
