This place is showing its age for sure or at least they are not maintaining it too well. On a positive note the sushi that is made while you are there was pretty good for buffet sushi. The hibachi was also pretty but needed a little work because the cook was distracted the entire time and talking to the sushi cook.
The wonton soup was also very thin and not very good.

Went here on a Saturday afternoon. Walked in — nice enough appearance. Then it goes downhill from there. The service is horrible. The server acted like she did not understand the word ‘water’. Then the food was greasy. Everything was greasy down to the green beans. If you visit this Sumter area stay clear of this place unless you desire greasy food & poor service.

This is a typical all you can eat Asian buffet. I typically like these types of places and am familiar with the lower quality. However, this place was exceptionally bad.
Service: decent. They were quick to clear away your dirty plates. Very slow in replenishing the sushi. But quick to replenish other dishes in the buffet.
Food: a ton of selections. The sushi was poor. Dried up rolls telling me that it had been sitting for awhile. Asian dishes were whatever’s. The fried food did not look appealing. The Mac n cheese was gross. How can you mess in on Mac n cheese! They had some sort of steAk soaking in a dip of some sort. That was decent. That was pretty much the highlight. Ice cream was good and had about 6 selections to choose from.
I would probably head to golden coral instead.

If you want food poisoning, go here! The food tasted great, but the results later were not so good. Avoid eating at this restaurant!
