Oh this is SONOT mi casa! This was the most unauthentic Mexican food ever made. The food is topped with cheese to hide the real flavor. I was asked if we wanted a Togo box… our waitress was so nice we could not turn her down.(She had the box with her) As the previous comment stated the chips and salsa was pretty good but that about it! Money back PLease! Better yet let me save your money by not eating here!

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. It was recommended to me and I don’t think I’ll ever listen to that persons advice ever again. The food was from a can and the place was filthy. So much so that I even reported it to the Health Department. No joke. The staff was nice. They were the only pleasant part of the place.

The restaurant itself has a very off-putting odor and is set up like a bargain-basement banquet hall. The carpet is very worn, the chairs were uncomfortable, and the dish station was a major part of the back dining room. The busboy kept wandering in and out of the kitchen eating chips, a little worrisome from a hygeine point of view. The room itself featured second-generation tables and chairs scattered through a large space, There was a four-stool bar along the back wall with Bud and Bud Light on tap, and the obligatory margarita blender. The food itself was awful, totally lacking seasoning or taste. All in all, a waste of a meal.

The food is very good – it has that delicious smoky taste with the onions & cilantro melding together to dance on your tongue. The service is awesome – very friendly and efficient. The salsa could be thicker(it reminded me a bit of soup) but it was so fresh and unique tasting that we all couldn’t quit dippin’ our chips. The prices are great – 2 of us had two ground beef tacos with rice and beans.(I can’t remember what the other two people had, but they loved their dishes too.)The portions were nice & big and it only set us back $ 6.95. Like a gal said about another restaurant, this place also is reminiscient of being in a Three’s Company episode – but in a good way. It’s my favorite dive so far. I’m a comin back!

Huevos Rancheros. November 28. This is a place i swore i would never walk back into. I was here about 9 months ago with my father for dinner. I ordered 2 Asada Tacos with rice and bean. i forgot what he ordered but, it was so bad that we tossed our napkins on the plate paid the bill and both said it was crap. we ate about 4 bites each. chips were cold salsa had no flavor. it was bad all-the-way-around. But i have a challenge that i put on myself 12 Huevos Rancheros in the next 12 weeks every Sunday. This place was close by and it’s Mexican so they must have Huevos. I walked in, it was like walking in to a old folks home cafeteria. Oh Yeah, I’m in Sun City. there was about 20 people all talking and bitching about something or another. Syrup is cold, not enough pancakes, more coffee, more water i need napkins, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years. I wanted to stab myself in the ear. but I’m Hungry and it’s only $ 4.99 with drink., plus it was a little entertaining to some point. On the good side. The Huevos Rancheros was good. much better then i thought it would be, came with chorizo, beans, ranchero sauce and tortillas and 2 eggs cooked just right. I do like rice with my HR so i asked for a side which was brought to right-a-way and it was free. wow. One of the best things about this place besides the Huevos was the cute Mexican waitress with a nice tight ass. I would come back just to see that, if the Huevos come with it then great. LOL 2⁄12 The last place didn’t count because it was on a Tuesday. Next Sunday going to San Clemente for Huevos.
