Good atmosphere, good food, good drinks. Would recommend.

Ok food terrible service. 30 dollars for two appetizers and two soft drinks and a side order of rice and beans. Bus boy took away my plate before I was done. On the featured menu outside was shrimp cocktail and so we ordered one but the waiter said they weren’t ready. a family of three came in about 5 minutes after us and they got their shrimp cocktail. This place has ok food and the best thing about it is the décor. ill never go there again.

I really hate to do this, especially because I believe in supporting locally owned small businesses, but poor service strikes again. For what it’s worth, we eat here about once a month, so we’ve probably eaten here about 25 times. We recently visited on a Saturday morning. It was around 11:00 AM and the place only had 5 tables eating in the restaurant. There were two waiters on staff serving the five tables on this slow weekend morning. Long story short, it took 45 minutes to receive our food. A couple who had come in after us, got their food and finished before we even got our food! To their credit, the waiter apologized, the owner discounted our check, and they gave us some brunch muffins to eat while we were waiting. But seriously? It wasn’t busy. The waiter to table ratio was 1:3. This should have never happened. If the food here wasn’t so darn good, I would have stopped coming a long time ago. But Provecho, you need to get your act together! A lack of discipline and focus amongst your staff will hurt your bottom line, despite the great food. More often times than not, we experience a problem with our service. If it’s happening this often to me, it must be happening to others.

Awesome enchiladas and chilaquiles. The Strawberry banana margarita is incredible! Ambiance and the staff are great. Definitely a must if your in the area!

The Best Mexican food in Sun City! I had my food catered for my son’s 25^th Birthday! Everyone loved the food. Rosie is the most sweetest and kind person! She made sure that the food was hot, delicious and ready to be served! Thank you Rosie!

Love this place! food is great atmosphere is lively and fun. Service is great and they have specials that run throughout the week. Overall place is clean, you can call it a hidden gem in Sun City

This place has a nice little atmosphere. DJ was our waiter. Good customer service here. Our appetizer did come out late and they gave it to us at no charge without us asking. I would go back. Had the breaded fish tacos they were pretty good.

Waiting on the phone to order is crazy! We have had to hang up and call again to get through. Their portions are ok. We ordered twice with no sour cream and repeated it couple times. Well it had sour cream! We didn’t get chips or salsa either the second or third time. We called and told them about it. They said we are sorry we were busy. Oh ok! Needles to say we never went back!

I really enjoyed lunch here today. Service was excellent food was nicely presented. I’ll be back.

Finally a place that is fun, great food. I went there by myself
to have lunch. Even flying solo the service and food was a memory maker.
I plan to go back.

The food is always flavorful and authentic, not weakened for Northern or Eastern tastes. The place is pretty popular with locals. Chips and salsa were good. The food (chicken enchiladas, shrimp fajitas) is pretty standard fare Mexican. Our family loves the enchiladas, tamales, and chimichangas. The staff are always friendly. Our family (grandparents to great-​grandkids) goes here more than any other restaurant.
They are very welcome to large parties.
The portion sizes were very generous. Service was very good– friendly and attentive.

Great food (vegetarian options! will also cater to vegan!), great atmosphere, great service!
The food & cocktails are awesome. It’s something that you wouldn’t expect to find in a strip mall in Sun City!

So far so good. Carnitas is soft and not crunchy. Great ambiance Chips are hot and good salsa.

I live in the Menifee area and it is hard to find Great Mexican food! Until now! I highly recommend everyone try Prevochos located in the older part of Sun City behind the Von’s grocery store!

Gotta say this place is pretty legit. Even their chips and salsa are bomb. Great menu selections, and I love that they carry the Mexican theme into the names of their drinks.
On the weekends, they have a great brunch deal with unlimited mimosas. If I lived closer to here, I definitely would have come back just for that.
I ended up ordering the Large Menudo, which was delicious and definitely more than enough. The only feedback I would have is that I wished they brought out a nice amount of chopped cabbage and dried oregano to put into the soup — that’s how to have authentic menudo! But like I said, it was still delicious even without it.
The service was ok, not the best, but I can’t complain. They were still nice to us, and our food was brought out on time.

Ahhhh mazing food and service. Place was packed and they got us in (party of nine) in less than ten minutes. Would recommend to anyone in the area craving great Mexican food

My parents recently moved to this area and finding a couple good Mexican Restaurants nearby their home is a priority. My Dad lives on the stuff. I had been here once before a few years ago and remembered it was good.
Was taco Tuesday and fairly busy, and noisy. We were just under the wire to order happy hour taco Tuesday specials. So we did. Our sever promised a visit to check and see if we wanted any more on special before it ended. That never happened. Funny, since she was training a new server. Not setting a very good example. In fact the service is my only complaint. We really felt quite forgotten about.
Food was good and my parents enjoyed this new (for them) spot. I’m sure we will return again.

Mole enchilada had a good taste, just not enough mole on the food, the ground beef fried taco was different, pretty good, the chicken taco dry… service is good, and atmosphere nice

What a difference three years can make!
A couple of months ago I noticed that over the last couple of years the reviews have been getting much better, to the point where there were many glowing ones, so we decided to check it out, again. Have now been here about a dozen times and are very pleased.
Before going into the food, couple of things: They now have a full bar and make great Margarita’s with a happy hour daily (I think?). They also now have an outdoor patio — very nice, and they feature live music on Thursdays — very enjoyable!
The food has been outstanding. From the guacamole, to the Chile Colorado, to the Enchiladas, to the Burritos, etc., we have enjoyed it all. (My only complaint, and it is minor, is that I wish that the bacon wrapped shrimp was stuffed with crab meat… like they do at Los Reyes in Wildomar…) Rice and beans are always tasty and fresh — I especially like the way the rice falls apart.
This place has become extremely popular — now I wish I had not stayed away for three years — but I’m working on making it up…

The best little Mexican food this side of town. Come sit and relax. Try the habanero sauce and pork belly tacos with pina salsa!
