Pretty good food but there is always something missing or the food is either overcooked or undercooked. Service isnt the greatest they dont have the best staff but the food is ready pretty quick. The original daniels is much better!

The Manager Carmen there is the slowest ignorant person I have delt with on a messed up order. Better off hiring monkeys from the zoo.

First time here and I’m keeping it short. This place is very nice but that’s not what I care about. The food was splendid! Amazing food and I’m happy! Shame I live somewhat far away.

Stopped in for lunch and felt very uncomfortable the gentleman taking my order yelling white girl in Spanish and made one of the girl serve me but I noticed he had no problem serving everyone else and the funny part is I’m half Spanish I understand what he’s saying yes I look white but I’m mixed… food and prices is good… services sucks if this guy is here and your mixed race good luck

Just made a quick stop for a bite to eat and I gotta say the food here is good, the service was perfect, the place is clean and the prices are right. Can’t ask for much more.

I really enjoy coming here for lunch. I order my food and pick it up within 10 minutes. The food is prepared quickly and the service is great. I usually get the lunch combo for about 5 bucks. You get 3 tacos, rice, beans and a drink.

Usually this place is stellar but it gets an F– tonight — OMG everything is disgusting — red sauce is yellow on Mojado Burrito — cheese enchiladas are sad little folded over grossness with hardly any cheese and they made them even more disgusting by putting this pseudo salad on top which made them soggy and a bunch of disgusting liquid under the enchiladas. Sorry but Daniel’s tacos lost a customer — I will say never had a problem at the original location. Sad.

I had been passing by this place for months and finally decided to go in tonight, the parking is really too small for having 5 other businesses on the same lot, I got lucky found a spot and jumped off. The menu and«specials on the window» all looked pretty good. I can only vouch for the carne asada(which could use a little more flavor) the carnitas were pretty good, the pastor had no flavor and the chicken enchiladas were pretty descent. I only have 2 small complaints, One, not too sure why the guy behind me got his order before us and Two not too sure why the lady brought out chips to guys next to me for free, when I had to pay for mine, I know it’s only 99 cents but still I would have appreciated the extra attention lol. Ok with all this being said I will probably come back, only because it’s a clean place that is open until midnight and yes the workers are very friendly:))

I frequent this location because of it’s inside seating. Everything I’ve eaten from here is awesome.

This location is way tastier than the one on Vineland ave. I would only go to other location because it was cheap, but this one is actually good and well portioned. Does need a bit of help in the cleanliness department though. Over all satisfied!

BOUGHT4TACOS – THREW2AWAY, what does that say? I’ve been eating tacos forever. My mother was eating one as I was being born and two more after that. I’ve eaten soft tacos, hard tacos, street tacos and dog tacos. Red tacos, green tacos, burnt tacos and Montezuma’s revenge tacos – I’ve even eaten Taco Bell tacos and I’ve never met a taco that was so bad that I couldn’t choke it down; until now. Let me tell you why I will NEVER spend a dime at this Daniels Tacos again. It is early Monday evening and I’d been craving some real tacos the entire weekend before. I live within a couple of miles from the ‘original’ Daniels Tacos(on Vineland/Strathern) but this new location is even closer to the house so I went there instead. I had eaten at the original location for years, one of my go-to spots for late-night munchies, and assumed this new location would offer the same good food without the crowd, so I cruised over. The first trouble I had was trying to get into the parking lot. The restaurant is located in a newly constructed mini strip-mall, on the west side of Glenoaks Blvd. maybe 200 feet beyond the intersection with Sunland Blvd. As you approach, from the south, it appears that there are two entrances into the lot – one of which directly in front of the taco joint, WRONG! Fortunately, I was able to get around the wall, which blocks this extra driveway via the sidewalk and down the walk-way in front of the store. Those of you traveling on four wheels will not be able to do as I did, instead you will have to use the main entrance and hope one of the two parking spaces is open – which is unlikely on the weekend due to the sharing of the parking lot with a banquet hall and a 420 clinic. As I entered the store I noticed a poster in the window advertising a «special»; 4 tacos and a drink for $ 5.99. When I placed the order I asked if I could get the special without the drink because the order was ‘to-go’ and I was on a motorcycle. At the other location this had never been a problem, they had merely knocked a buck off(4 tacos for $ 4.99) and since the drink alone was priced at $ 1.79 we’d both be happy. The girl who took my order was indifferent and kept saying«it comes with a drink», I would soon find out why she’d been so firm about having something to drink. I order 2 tacos de carnitas and 2 carne asada, paid $ 6.53, and then gulped down the coke. After about 5 minutes I grabbed my bag, put it in a saddle bag and was home in less than five more. Upon opening the bag(that ironically says«the very best») I discovered four square Styrofoam plates put together as makeshift ‘to-go’ cartons; tacos on bottom plate, an inverted plate covering it, then a plate of onions, with another inverted plate covering that. The top plate was full of grilled onions and one burned jalapeño. I set that aside and grabbed a taco. I took a bite, gave it a chew and felt something wasn’t quite right. I added some hot sauce, salsa fresco and some onions and took another bite – that’s when I realized that my mouth was suddenly devoid of all moisture. After getting a swig of water, I took another bite out of the alleged carne asada taco and it happened again – my mouth became suddenly dry as hell. It was as if they had substituted asbestos or some other super-absorbent crap, like saw-dust, for the meat. The carnitas was even worse, no wonder the cashier had been so adamant about giving me a drink, these tacos are absolutely inedible otherwise. To make matters worse, they had almost no flavor whatsoever. Which might have something to do with the fact that in both types of tacos I tried; the meat was fine-chopped and looked like hamburger, WTF? If I had wanted hamburger tacos I would’ve gone to Taco Bell – at least they would’ve then had some taste. I was barely able to choke down the first two with the help of a liter of Coke, but gave up on the other two. I put the«asada» contents into my dogs dish and put the other in the trash. The next morning I emptied the dog dish into the trash too, she hadn’t touched it at all – now you know the meat is pretty bad when a dog won’t eat it! These tacos were god-awful, unfit for consumption(human or otherwise), IFYOUARETHINKINGOFEATINGHERE, DON’T. P. S. If there had been a rating lower than one-star, they would have gotten it.

I really wanted to love this place. I mean, I love hole-in-the-wall Mexican places, and this is a new restaurant close to home. It’s other location gets rave reviews, so I stopped by on the way home from work one night. I ordered a burrito mojado with pastor, and a carne asada quesadilla. The cooks and staff were very nice, and my food came out pretty quick. When I got home, I was excited to dig into my burrito. One bite later, I nearly spit it out. I don’t know what they gave me, but I’ve never tasted had that looked or tasted like that before. And the sauce on the burrito actually made the who thing taste even worse. So I was happy to dig into my quesadilla. Except there was barely any cheese, and the carne asada was WAY overcooked and almost char-flavored. I was able to at least eat the quesadilla by washing it down with a soda. Won’t be coming back.

Daniels tacos is always delicious whaaaat can I sizaay. Love this location because it’s closer to my house! Indoors. more fast food type feel but still good! Love the outdoor one because of the grill outside with onions and peppers but this one will do for a quick stop when I don’t want to deal with a big crowd! Keep doin yo thang Daniels.

I have been going to Daniels tacos for a long time and now that they opened up a place close to my house I will probably be coming her a lot. The tacos, rice, burrito and menudo is good. Haven’t tried everything I usually stick to what I like. The people working seem to be nice. A small place and very clean from what I can see.

The owner is nice. I’ve been to the other location a ton of times, having lived in Sun Valley for a couple years. Great late night spot. As you can see by my check in, we went to town, Lorenza w chorizo, nachos(housemade chips) that tasted kinda like a tostada, lengua(tongue) and pastor tacos(my go to at any taco joint, as it is for Bourdain … great minds think ALIVE!). Will go back more since I don’t live around here anymore, but work close by. Also, got friends in the area. Make sure to get enough free grilled onions. Also they have free refills if you eat at the location! The original location doesn’t have that.

Friendly staff and customer service was great! I admire the grilled onions they give you with your tacos. Unfortunately there food was not great. I had 3 tacos, rice, and beans. The food had no flavor and there tortillas were not hand made. They advertise Handmade tortillas. They need to work on there spices.

First, baby! Me and my family have been anxiously awaiting the opening of this Daniel’s Tacos for a long time. My daughter and I were among the first to walk through the doors. Same great food, just a lot closer to my house.
