Not the best cracker barrel location, not the worst. The bathrooms tend to be less than clean. The hostess not quite personable. They are always out of blueberry muffins here, why not make more at a time? Try explaining to a youngster why they are out every time. That said the food is good. The servers are sometimes very good and sometimes not good at all. I think sometimes they have too many tables. I took a star off because of the heat. The dining portion of the building is always extremely hot no matter the time of year.

We love Cracker Barrel. But, this particular visit at this location was disappointing. The bathrooms were disgusting. Only one stall was acceptable to use, and the odor was overwhelming. I ordered the chicken salad and apple salad — my fav. It came. No almonds. No cranberries. I asked for them and she said oh we’re out of cranberries. The chicken salad had 3 chunks of chicken — rest was all celery. Got a side of dumplins. 3 small dumplins and half a bowl of gravy. Never had a Cracker Barrel experience this bad!

Service was horrible! Hostess with an attitude. No smile, rude, frowned when we asked not to be seated in a middle table(place was half empty), server didn’t bring lemon with tomato juice as adjective, took 5 minutes to get it. Meal took FOREVER, even by Cracker Barrel’s standards. Must have sat a while as both the grits and gravy were crusted over! Manager was cleaning tables rather than checking on the customers.

Love Cracker Barrel’s! Dining AND Shopping always a plus for the girl! We came in for breakfast and it was pretty busy. Seemed like only one waitress(but maybe 2). Got the Country boy breakfast first and his hash brown casserole was cold. No drink refills and no condiments. I had Uncle somebody’s breakfast with catfish, my potatoes were cold too. The Manager came at table behind us for a complaint and got corrected. We asked him for condiments, ketchup, Heinz 57 and Tobasco. He forgot the ketchup. Funny. My hubby asked him for some warmer hash browns and he got them. I just decided to eat mine cold. Then I went to have a bite of my biscuit n gravy and had something in there. I pulled out a plastic bristle from the basting brush. What luck huh!!! lol doesn’t get any better. The food on the other hand was good don’t get me wrong. The manager said he would throw out that basting brush rite away. Ok that our experience here this morning. Needed another wait person in morning rush tho.

This restaurant is showing how different times, days and staff can provide polar opposite experiences. So I’ll write this update and leave it up to yins to figure out the inconsistencies. A Monday in December meant the store was decorated for Christmas with even more gift options and the smell of cinnamon providing a much warmer welcome than our last visit. This is what we all expect, no? Our table was clean and our server friendly and capable. More importantly, the stars have be averaged out because our dinners were so much better than the previously mentioned portions and breakfast failures. Now I find myself craving their chicken salad salad and wondering if this place is messing with me.

Before I start I must say I am a sucker for Cracker Barrel. I would eat hear at least twice a day if my family would let me. This location and this visit missed the mark badly. We got here early and place was mostly empty. It took much too long to get our coffee and twenty minutes after we ordered to get oatmeal and scrambled eggs. Eggs weren’t scrambled they were an overcooked pile. Think of omelette with nothing other than eggs. Oatmeal came with no brown sugar and the milk was in a plastic cup that had sloshed all over the plate prior to making it to the table. After asking and waiting for brown sugar finally received what was a small block of brown sugar to place on the now kinda warm oatmeal. Usually a great place but this one was a fail.

Typical Cracker Barrel. Very good food, great service and decent prices. I had the egg sandwich on sourdough bread and it was great.

Pancakes are not that good anymore. They are way too fluffy and spongy

Friendly staff, but terrible carry out service. 9 times out of 10 your order will be wrong. Be sure to double or even triple check your order before you leave.

Great location. The staff is friendly, the restaurant and store are clean, and the food is very consistent Cracker Barrel. A large, comfort breakfast for a terrific price.

After being in Columbus for 2weeks I was in search of some good southern food. This was the closet we could find but i was definitely not disappointed. Everything was on point minus the veggie medley, I think it was microwaved. However, the room and service overall was great… I will be back

After being on the road, I was in the mood for some good southern cooking. My family acquiesced and agreed to have dinner here. I ordered my chicken and dumplings and was anticipating the yumminess. Since we couldn’t have any at our destination. Fifteen minutes later, I was told that they didn’t have anymore and asked if I wanted anything else. Sadly, I ordered something else(I like most everything at Cracker Barrel, but I REALLY wanted dumplings). The manager came out with the pork chops I had ordered instead and said that an order of chicken and dumplings is also being prepared because of a communication error on the kitchen’s part. YUM! Needless to say, my portion of the meal was comped and I had my yummy dumplings. All is good with the world and I am happy. THANKYOU!!!

This was actually my first time at a Cracker Barrel restaurant, and I have to say, I have no intentions of ever going back to one again and the only reason I am actually giving this 2 stars instead of 1 is because I wasn’t the one paying for the meal. I ordered the catfish platter. The catfish was grilled and very well seasoned. It was delicious. The sides on the other hand, were mediocre. My wife ordered the crispy fried chicken platter. Her meal and sides were also mediocre. I sampled one of her fried okra and it had zero flavor. The same could be said about my macaroni and cheese and the hashbrown casserole. My biggest complaint was the portion sizes. When I go out to eat and pay $ 10 or $ 12 for a meal, I expect to have leftovers. My meal(and my wife’s) were served on an average size dinner plate. I had one piece of catfish, which was extremely disappointing considering that was the best part of the entire meal. Not to be a pig or anything, but I easily finished my entire plate of food and was still hungry for more. My wife and I also ordered a dessert(some sort of apple dumpling pie thing) to share. Surprisingly enough, it was HUGE. It was easily big enough for 4 people to share. Why was the dessert so big, yet the dinner itself so small? I shouldn’t have to fill up on my iced tea to actually be full from a meal.

Went here after our third disappointment in a row at Bob Evans(the one on us 23). Great friendly service and the food is always fresh hot and tasty.

For those of us who live in this area we don’t have many choices for eating out. Had breakfast here once, & it was amazing. The blueberry pancakes were killer. but we went for dinner the other night & it was horrible. To start, they were busy, so service was SLOW. Like 15 Minutes just to get drinks. Our 2 year old was already fussy from being hungry, so we should’ve taken the hint & left, but noooooooo, we decided to give it a shot… about 40 minutes later(read an hour after being seated) we finally had meals. Grilled cheese/fries for our son, the pecan catfish for my husband & peppercorn steak for me. The grilled cheese was the best meal. I sent my veggies back because they weren’t cooked & our server ‘really nuked them for me’. The biggest disappointment was the portion sizes though. Note: 3 oz of cooked meat is about the size of a deck of cards, so when my 8oz steak was about that size, I was pretty miffed. Also my husbands fish was a weak little piece of nothing, came out on a plate by itself. Looked ridiculous. We left hungry. Not worth $ 40.

I know I’ve reviewed this restaurant before but this one is a little different. I found a breakfast to die for! It’s the«Cousin Bob» breakfast and includes: Three eggs cooked to your preference A large(I mean REALLY large) slice of ham Two biscuits A bowl of sausage gravy Homefries with cheese Grits A bowl of baked apples All that cost me $ 8.99. Isn’t that amazing? And the food is really good. It’s just a shame the restaurants are all so darned far away.

Hello land of starchy goodness. I have never seen the lot empty here. And that is saying something when one considers there is a Waffle House and a Denny’s within sight. That being said, the food is the draw, but it is not anything special. Has the feeling of being mass-produced, sort of in a fast food way. Prices are cheap, so I supposed that is an ok trade-off. Several of the dishes are too salty(ham) and there seems to be a 30% chance of the food coming out cold. Staff knows their stuff. Cracker Barrel does have a phenomenal training program. Now if only they’d improve their menu…

Love their reuben sandwich, chicken fried steak, green beans… Kids like the generous cheesy grilled cheese, with interesting décor. Very cozy fire in winter. Their knick-knacks have a cute feel, also a good clearance corner.

Can’t go wrong with Cracker Barrel! LOVE the cheesy hashbrowns and Turkey Sausage. I always feel at home here!
