Worst quality panda i’ve had. Bad service bad experience. I wouldn’t recommend my dog to go eat there.

They are almost always very low on food, they never fill your plate to the top like other panda express do, they are short staffed and always somebody new, there are 4 customers behind me is scraping the orange chicken bowl but does not raise his head to asked to cook to make more common courtesy and common sense is not something very common at this location

In my experience, the employees at this location have shown they are unorganized, don’t know how to communicate well with fellow employees or customers, and can’t run a business with or without supervision. I arrived one morning 30 minutes after they opened and they were not only not ready to open, no food out, but didn’t even bother greeting me or saying anything until I stood there with a couple other frustrated guests for about 15 minutes. Then we ordered but half the stuff wasn’t ready so it took another 30 minutes to actually get the food. Total time waiting one hour. Then I gave them another chance a couple weeks ago and decided to go for dinner. My third item was the teriyaki chicken. They didn’t even bother to tell me that they were out and that I could make another selection, they just simply stack my order with about a dozen others that were all waiting for various things. Items that they had once again run out of, And were not prepared to restock. After waiting and wondering for a few minutes I asked the cashier for the third time, what was going on? She said she did not know what was going on and also did not understand my question. Well where is my food? Oh it’s one of these lol. As if there was nothing going on at all. How about addressing the fact that you guys are out of one thing and suggesting another, Or at least letting us know why we are just standing here like a bunch stray dogs waiting for a handout. 30 minutes went by and I went ahead and walked out. never had to pay because the line never moved. There were about 2 dozen people just standing there and no one Knew exactly why. I would have taken the orange chicken. I would have taken anything. I’m not picky, but I want to know what’s going on. Throw anything in there just tell me what’s wrong so I can get on with my life. I would avoid this place at all costs and go to the one in LA Canada or anywhere else for that matter. Epic Fail.

The amount of food they provide it was too little and the restaurant was really dirty

Stopped by to pick up dinner, and was very very disappointed… Had to scape the bottom of bowl for a serving of sweet and sour sauce, they said it was a 4 min. wait for the fresh bowl… They were out of hot mustard, said they would have it tmrw… The cashier forgot to put my cookie that I paid for in the bag? I frequent this location as it is on the way home, and this was by far my worst experience!!!

To me, food should be served hot. Every time I go in, some of the food looks like it has been sitting there for awhile, as the tops of them look really dry. The food is really tasty, but it so needs to be fresh. Warm food just doesn’t work for me. I think they make to much, and the need for that item just doesn’t sell to make that much. The store is very clean, even outside. Bathrooms are typical for a fast food resteraunt, the employees don’t use those bathrooms, so they don’t see it. Who wants to clean a bathroom anyways… also, they could use a special weekly menu item or items, it couldn’t hurt… free soda with the meal? All suggestions Panda, if the mongrels at corporate would let you. You get more customers when you can surprise us with some weekly or monthly changes to the menu, think about it.

Shittiest panda I’ve been too. They always get my order wrong and they’re ready to close an hour before closing time so I always have to wait for them to prepare more food.

It was past 9pm and I wasn’t sure if Panda express was still open, I called in to find out what time they close and she said they close at 10pm. We walked in at 9:30pm, we noticed that there wasn’t much choices and being understanding that the store was going to close soon, we were maybe going to leave but Debbie let us know if we didn’t mind waiting about 7 min they could make more food. We even asked her«is that really ok?» and she said it was fine. Upon paying for our order and as Debbie asked the cook to cook the food, Jonathan rudely said«we are closed» and he pretty much had a bad attitude and looked at us very rudely. Also the assistant manager we didn’t catch his name but we asked the cashier if there was a manager and she mentioned he was the assistant manager, was also rudely looking at us and started to bang the pans loudly. The entire ordeal made us feel like we were a inconvenience and we were unwelcome. If they didn’t want us to come in 30 min before they close the person that answered the phone should of told us they were closed. And just to add to that whole experience. I paid extra for the spare ribs and 3⁄7 were just bones. Straight up bones.

They give you great portions of food, especially for the price and most employees are very friendly. Sometimes it’s hard to figure why they are out of certain dishes during their peak periods, but the wait for them to cook it up is usually only 5 minutes. The parking is getting difficult since Starbucks took over the old Burger King in the same plaza. I’ve eaten at other Panda Expresses and this one seems to have fresher food and less greasier dishes and the service is better, too.

This is probably my favorite Panda Express location. The girls that work there are really nice and they actually look like they want to be there. Whenever one person needs help, they go help them out just to get everything moving which is great team work! One time I had to wait for teryaki chicken and they said 5 minutes but it took 20, it was ok for me because they are nice and I’m really picky with what I eat/like. The girl behind me also ordered the same thing and was waiting too, she really had an attitude about it though. I got my order and the girls were wispering to each other and all so they ended up telling me and giving me a free extra small side because I waited so long. The girl behind me got SO jealous and said«well I’ve been waiting too» and etc etc, and so she got it free too, but you can tell the girls didn’t want to give it to her she didn’t deserve the shorter wait time and bitchyness of herself. Overall, it’s good food!!! And I love the staff I don’t eat hot n sour soap so that doesn’t bring down any stars for me

Why doesn’t this location carry hot and sour soup??? I mean it’s a meal and it should be available. Location or not. This place has the demand. Clearly I am one of them along with many others that have requested this. Wtf

The employee named Jessica was very friendly. The other employee named RYAN(that’s what was displayed on the name plate) was condescending and outright rude. This was my first time to actually go to a fastfood place alone. My husband and I rarely go to fastfood joints and this was one of those rare times. We stopped at Panda Express on Foothill in Sunland because he was very ill and I was so hungry. It wasn’t the best idea but we didn’t have time to cook because we just came from LAX. He can’t get out of the car because he was sick so I went inside the establishment knowing exactly what to order. I joined the queue. Ryan was very friendly with the guys in front of me but when it was my turn, while he did ask what I wanted to order, his tone of voice was really condescending. Then he grabbed some little boxes, maybe he assumed that I’ll be ordering little servings(can’t blame him because I am small, appeared Asian, looked really casual with my jeans and jacket, and with my specialized crutches). So I said, «Last time, we ordered the bigger boxes and those are what I am ordering.» To my surprise, he replied, «These are $ 12.50 each. Do you know that?» I said, «Yes. I thought $ 13 each.» And then Ryan stressed again in a very condescending and rude tone, «$ 12.50 each. You will be paying $ 12.50 for each box, okay.» In written form, these words appear to be really simple and non-offensive. It was the way he blurted them out. There are no words to describe how offensive, discriminating, rude and condescending he appeared to be. I am not sure, maybe he is a nice person outside of work. But he needs to be aware that his actions are not reflective of excellent customer client care and how he was didn’t support this credo of Panda Express at all. I was really sad that he had to be like that. As I’ve said, maybe he is a good person who demonstrated a lapse in judgment that moment. When you are taking care of the front line, you need to be aware of how people perceive your actions, especially if you are representing a brand or company. I own a business so I know fully well how Ryan’s actions can ruin a reputation, especially for a first-time customer. I didn’t show how sad I was when I was checking out. When Jessica assisted me with the bill/payment, she was nice and helpful. It was a «chill» moment, as I’ve told my husband.

I don’t know how this place only gets three stars… this is one of the best pandas I’ve ever been to… It seems like the quality of their food is better than most pandas… plus the place is super clean and has good parking… Also good service

Stopped by for the first time last Sunday — got three family combo deals to go for a small party back home and not only was it plenty but almost every dish tasted damn good, including the rice and the noodles.
I didn’t get the complete incompetence by the manager who couldn’t make the most basic determinations, even though we were the only customers there and she had all the time in the world to figure out our request. In fact the cashier who was helping us appeared significantly smarter and should be promoted! But the food was surprisingly good quality, as well as being great value for money. Specifically, orange chicken with bacon, which I believe is a new menu item was out of this world — then again I do worship bacon; add it to anything, even a piece of rock and I will eat it. The wait for this delightful feast was not insubstantial and they grossly underestimated it, but overall we were very happy with the outcome.

I’m surprised that this panda only has 3 stars. I’ve eaten here a bunch of times. The food is always good and whenever they are out of something I get. it’s always made fresh right then and there. The parking is good and there’s plenty of tables… even seating outside.

It’s a Panda Express, just like all the others. They do seem to run out of food a lot but what ever, that leaves room to get diverse. All the food taste pretty great but it is certainly overpriced for sure. It doesn’t compare to real Chinese. My only real complaint is that the tables are always dirty with some sort of sauce or something. I always enjoy eating here though!

This place is disappointing. I only go when there is no option. When you order and you see something that might be edible it’s always«that’s going to be $ 1 extra» then the portions are tiny and overpriced. The orange chicken doesn’t have any chicken anymore .If you think this is good Chinese you need to get out of Sunland a bit more. Go to Corral Reef in Atwater you won’t be disappointed.
