Worst Pizza Hut I have ever had. You’re better off going to Leo’s Pizza or Jack loves pizza up the St. It’s pretty hard to make a bad pizza, but congratulations Pizza Hut in Sunland you did it!

Pizza Hut is 3 – 4 minutes from my house. They quoted me 30 minutes but took about an hour or so. Ohh did I mention that it was cold. However the wings tasted pretty good. But to mad to give any credit in the stars section for the wings. Don’t trust this location. Late delivery + cold pizza = jack in the box next time. Or papa johns down the street.

I have never ordered delivery from this location, but I always order online and pick up within 10 to 15 minutes. The staff is always friendly, and I never have to wait longer than the promised time. I have to say I’m not a fan of their latest greasy crusts, but I realize that that has nothing to do with this specific location. I will say it would be nice if they had someone in the front at all times. Sometimes you stand there having to hope that somebody will see you from the prep /kitchen area and eventually come out and attend you. Nevertheless, it’s a decent place to get a decent pizza for carryout.

Last night my family and I ordered pizza from here. Mind you, we ALWAYS order from Dominos, but I was craving Pizza Hut last night. Mind you, they are LITERALLY less than a 5 minute drive(there and back) from my house, but I was being lazy and still wanted to have it delivered last night. We ordered two medium pan crust pizzas, one with pepperoni and extra cheese and the second with sausage and extra cheese. I was told 45 minutes for delivery(Dominos ALWAYS quotes 30 min and typically shows up faster than that!). So we wait a good 45 minutes and $ 20 later, my pepperoni pizza, half of it is missing cheese and the crust is NOTHING close to the pan pizza I ordered, not to mention, the pizza needed to be heated up prior to eating, it was COLD. The sausage pizza was the right crust, lacking on the cheese, and far from an acceptable temperature… I considered throwing it in the over before i factored together everything that was wrong here and I called over to Pizza Hut right away. I spoke with Blanca and let me just say, should could care less about my issues. She didn’t even hear what I had to say, NEVERONCE even attempted an apology for the situation, told me the best she could do was remake my pizza but it was going to be at least 30 minutes. I said forget it, I would come pick it up now. At this point, the main card of the UFC fight my family and I were watching was just starting, I was pissed. I jammed over to the location to pick up my pizza and I was left standing at the counter for a good minute or two. Now, there is a monitor for me to see myself standing there, I’m assuming they can see me somewhere in the back too. Instead they waited for me to ring the doorbell. Low and behold, Blanca came out, and she wasn’t ANY friendlier in person than on the phone. I told her I had just called about the unsatisfactory delivery, she still needed to look up my information in the computer before handing me my pizza. I brought to her attention the fact that I paid for a delivery charge and now that I an in person picking up my pizza, I didn’t feel it was fair to still charge me for this. The conversation went a little something like this: Me: Was I charged a delivery charge on the first pizzas? Blanca: Yeah(with a NASTY attitude)… Me: I don’t think I should have to pay for that… Blanca: What do you mean? The new pizza is going to be free(still with an awful attitude). Me: I have already paid for this pizza, and that delivery charge, I am not standing in front of you to pick up something that I had wanted delivered, nothing here is free, but I don’t think I should have to pay that delivery charge! Blanca: So you want this money back?(Looks at me with more attitude than I know what to do with) Me: Yeah, I think it’s only right. Blanca: Fine! She took the $ 3.25 out of the register and didn’t even have the decency to HAND it to me, she just set it down on the pizza box. I grabbed my money and my pizza and I walked out, Blanca said nothing. She is an absolute POOR representation of management and that store. Someone needs to retrain her on sympathy and empathy with her customers. I ABSOLUTELY will NOT be ordering from Pizza Hut again, Dominos it is!

Very bad delivery… take more than a hour… and when i called they said is gonna be soon… still waiting for 10 more minutes and never got my order… after an hour from the time i put the order i called to cancelled…

Nothing like having staff walk by with out acknowledging you. And when they finally do the pizza looks like terrible. Expected more from a Pizza Hut. Dumb on my part. Don’t do it!

I love Pizza Hut, so this place is my go-to for when I don’t feel like cooking. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. And the food is always great!

I love their pan crust pizza, but I am so frustrated with this location. I ordered from here a few times a couple of years ago, but it took them over an hour to deliver each time and they got my order wrong 3 times in a row. At that point I had enough, and stopped ordering Pizza Hut. Recently, I figured that it’s been a couple years and maybe they fixed their issues. This is my second time ordering from them in the last couple if weeks, and both times the orders came over an hour after I placed the order. Pizza was barely warm both times, so I’m not sure what they were doing for that long. They’ve lost my business again, and there won’t be a third chance.

Living a few blocks away makes this the pizza hut of choice. Always do carry out to save on the delivery fee. If I want delivery I get Dominos which utilizes Shoprunner. As long as you have an AMEX card you get free delivery. Now back to Pizza Hut. Wingstreet wings are far superior to Dominos crappy chicken. I’m so glad that every Wednesday I’m able to eat Burnin hot traditional wings for only $ 0.60 each! Their pasta is also great, both Alfredo and marinara. Pan pizza and stuffed crust are also great. The staff here has always been helpful and polite. We can’t put down a location for a delivery fee that comes from corporate.

This Pizza Hut was phenomenal compared to the last time I had an experience with this restaurant chain. My last order from a Pizza Hut was in 2008. Why so long? Because the last one I went to(which would be the small one by Shakey’s in Burbank, CA) was such a horrible pizza that I nearly swore off Pizza Hut entirely. The service at that particular one was absolutely unacceptable at the time. The staff were doing nothing but talking, it took nearly an hour to get out of there with ONE pizza, and it was still doughy in the center. A half-assed rush job(pardon my language). That was then — flash forward six years to Sunday, August 31st, 2014. I decided to give Pizza Hut another shot. Never will I give the one on San Fernando Blvd. my hard-earned cash again. I instead placed an online order for carryout with the store in Sunland on Foothill Blvd. I ordered the $ 10 meal box and made a special request that no garlic seasoned crust be used in the pizza(My relative has an allergy to Garlic). For lack of an instruction screen for the breadstick portion of the box, I had to call in by phone after submitting my order. The gentlemen who fielded my call was very polite; and upon my asking if there were a way to separate the breadsticks from the pizza via bagging them or something, he made a note for my order and had everything boxed individually. This young man went out of his way to help me and that’s something not a lot of employees do anymore. So shines a good deed. As a result; I’d like to thank him for his excellent service and very positive demeanor in handling my call. I never got a name, but his gesture was not unnoticed. This Pizza Hut will have my business again.

I giving this place a one star bc me and my friends were waiting for 30 mins inside the pizza hut waiting for our pizza to find out that our pizza was in the warmer the whole time. About 20 mins into the waiting we were looking for someone to talk to and no one was in site for 10 mins. Finally a worker helped us, when asked to help compensate for our unnecessary waiting he said he would ask the mgr, who never came out, they said the would give a credit for the next pizza. It would have been nice for the mgr to come out and apologize instead of hiding. Never going back again!

I agree with the previous reviewer that the delivery is an issue. I live about half a mile away(yes, I’m lazy, but I’m willing to pay the price for delivery), and even though they say 30 – 45 minutes, it can take up to an hour. So, I decided to be smart and call in my order and pick it up on the way home. Said it would be ready in 15 minutes. Got there in 15, waited about another 15 minutes. Either they’re not well organized, have too many orders, or are just slow.
