Normally they do excellent work… And my Yorkie is a little difficult I get it. But if you cut my dog with a serious cut (it was horrible needed a cone to let it heal for 3 weeks) and don’t tell me and I get home to find it… You tell me. I warn them everytime please be as careful as possible. Won’t return.

This place is literally a scam! They come off as a grooming school but really they’re just getting free workers to do all their shit for them. If you’re looking for a grooming school, don’t go here. I promise you wont learn anything. Their only teacher has less then a year of experience an is too busy busting her ass off to actually teach you anything. They also don’t tell the customers that students are working on their dogs either.
Both the owners here are jokes. They know nothing about running a grooming salon and are hardly there too even run the place. Their always busy going out to lunch everyday or looking for people off the streets to work for them for free thinking that their saints for doing so. Their both just money hungry an will over book an unsafe amount of dogs for their zero experience students to groom when they don’t even have enough equipment for everyone.
I worked here for two months an saw some of the most craziest things ever in my ten years of working with animals. Students get rough with dogs, leaving them in metal cages hours on ends with a heater on them, super gluing bows their heads, even choking a dog. It’s almost pointless for me to even warn you all about this place because the owners don’t give a shit. While I was there SEVEN people came in to complain about their dogs being cut and they both did nothing. To be honest they just go into their offices an laugh at you once you leave. Really? Are these the people you want to give your pets/​money to? Do yourself a favor an don’t.
OH! And don’t let me forget to mention their front desk girl. She’s a total cunt. You can probably read threw all these Unilocal reviews an learn a thing or two about her. Besides me, most of the clients don’t like her either. She’s rude an stuck up, pretty much all she cares about is going to get the gas station next door to buy herself junk food. I thought she was my friend but she was late every day the two months I worked here, she even begged me multiple times to cover for her an I did. She would also take off for two hours on her lunch break to probably do drugs an leave me to do all her work for her. She was actually fired while I was working there but after a weekend of busting my ass off to fill her position an my own, the owners talking shit on her, changing the locks, and having multiple interviews to replace her she walks back in to work an basically gives them a son story and talks the owners into keeping her an letting me go.
Don’t ever try to apply here too. They treat the employees like shit an pay you poorly. They also have no respect for you as a person, they expect you to work hard an give up all your own personal responsibilities for them while they give zero in return. This place is full of bullshit.
I just find it funny how the owners sit there with their thumbs up their asses an question why their shop sucks. Let me give you a hint guys… When you accept terrible employees an treat them like shit too, you’re gunna get shitty work.
Oh, and save yourself the time in reading whatever the stuck up owner replies to this. It’s all just lies an falseness to make them look better. I mean if you don’t believe me just look up all the other reviews on here claiming the same shit. Either they’re a fucked up business or they burned a lot of bridges with people. Whatever it is I’ve warned you all and I’ve already reported them to peta.
All in all I’m happy to not be here anymore. I found a job at a new salon the next day and I’m getting paid twice as much. I actually have the chance to grow an learn more from real groomers who have more then 20 years of experience.

First off, I hate bringing my dog here. Every time I come in the place is unorganized by all the dogs that are packed in those cages. Second, the lady in the front Helen, doesn’t know how to talk to customers. Each time I bring my dog, I have a problem. Its so close I have no choice but to bring him here since my busy schedule. They always leave strands of long hair, my dog comes bak shaking with cuts on his tummy & i’ve brought it to there full attention that its not okay. I called in & told them to get there shit together because the owner himself is a piece of shit who doesn’t care about the animals. Attitude comes a long way & if I could give literally no stars I would. Do a fucking better job, if you cant groom a dog, then don’t do it. They treat the animals like shit & they expect so much out of it. They dont know what the fuck theyre doing & im 100% sure no one even has a license for any of it since theyre all picked up from the streets from the owner. dont bring your dog here.

Rude! I asked for my dogs ears not to be trimmed, they did it anyway and were completely unapologetic. When I mentioned the ears the employee said «already done nothing we can do now» come on! What happens to customer service? With so many other places, I’ll find a place that will listen to my request.

I bring my little yorkie in once a year for a cut and ALWAYS leave disappointed. Never have they once cut her hair the way I ask them too. And since when is it okay to GLUE a ribbon an a dog’s ear?
That upsetted me. Getting the haircut style wrong every single time. I can somewhat let that slide, but gluing a ribbon onto her ears was unacceptable!!! Front desk girl is very rude and has no idea about anything, she is either sucking on a lolipop or licking her fingers while eating chips.

Love their service, had my two dogs hair done, never had to make an appointment with them. I just didn’t like how I had to wait four hours to pick up my dogs.

ralphie came back looking so handsome and clean. he was a mess when i brought him in. they gave him a great cut and bath .i saw another dog with the same handsome look, and i asked the owner where he got his dog groomed, and he said he loves wag my tail as well. andie and the groomers are great!

If I could give more stars I would. My dog Frodo is 12 years old, set in his ways and not easy to cut. He’s near impossible. I did have to come in to help them handle him with the face and his nails but that is completely ok. The cut is great the place is great. This review is more about their attitude. I cannot tell you how many places have made me feel horrible at the end if a service. One place cut half his face and key the rest because he was (quote) «horrible» to work with. Another place just refused to even try to cut his nails. What am I supposed to do with that! I know he is a giant challenge, but he still needs his hair cut and nails trimmed! My husband and I even bought clippers and tried doing it ourselves for a few years. That did not work out! The ladies working at wash my tail were very kind. They really did their best to do everything they could for him and me. And nobody made me feel like a terrible person for having a difficult dog. Thank you guys so much.

Wag My Tail has a long ways to go before they truly grasp the concept of customer service.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by Rachel, the owner, who is the only reason I give this business 3 stars. I had called and spoken to her over the phone as well; She was so charming and delightful. I truly would have had a different experience if she was the front desk as well.
I came in to give Nala a groom. I really did not have a laid out plan as to how short I wanted her hair to be. Every grooming salon I’ve been to, they simply ask me what I want, even show me a chart as to what levels I want cut.
When I came, the front desk girl greeted me and asked what Nala is in for. I told her a groom and the girl just stared at me. I didn’t say anything since I was waiting for her to ask how short I wanted her hair. She finally understood that I was waiting for her to respond, then said how short and I asked her if she had pictures of dogs with hair cuts I could show. She said, and I quote, «ya I guess I have whatever that is» and began looking around. At this point, I really wanted to just take my business somewhere else. However, I just took out my phone and showed her a picture of what I wanted. She then began obnoxiously sucking on a lolipop and told me it would be a few hours since they were very busy.
I guess she was having a bad day or thought I was odd for not knowing how short to cut my dog’s hair. Regardless, there is a reason customer service exists. If Rachel wants her business to strive and for clients to return, she should train her front desk or get a new one. Because of her front desk, I will, sadly, not be returning, despite the fact that Nala’s haircut looked decent. There are tons of groomers in the area who will be able to give not only a great groom with a great price, but with matching and may I even add, outstanding customer service.

I am very pleased and and happy with the dog grooming performed by Marisella. The facility is clean and the grooming is done as asked. Even my dog was happy when I picked him up. Rachel (the owner) is sweet, kind, helpful and went out of her way to make sure my dog and I leave the place happy and satisfied:)

UPDATE:
After a short moment of posting my review I was completely shocked and surprised when Rachel the manager personally called me to apologize about the service. I went back with my dog to share with her what had happened and I have to say she was very sweet and awesome! She took care of the situation right away in a professional matter. I’m a big believer in excellent customer service and she provided excellent customer service. I was upset from what had happened but she guaranteed this wasn’t going to happen again. They’re very passionate about what they do and they really do care about providing excellent service to the dogs that come in. I ended up getting my money back and Rachel said she will personally make sure that my dog is taken care of next time. I thought they were just going to sit there and not do anything about it but Rachel went above and beyond to make sure I walked out of there a happy and satisfied customer (which I did), I truly appreciate her taking the time to resolve the situation. I was close to changing groomers but because of everything Rachel did for me and my Doberman, they have earned my business and I will continue to take my dog there for her grooming needs.

I brought in my Siberian Husky for a wash and heavy brushing because he is shedding like crazy right now. The workers there did an amazing job! My dog was so soft, you’d think he was a walking pillow. This place is great and so close by to my house!!! Just a well rounded, awesome place

I’ve been here twice as I just moved here and I love how they have groomed my malti-​poo Benny. The first time he was a bit matted but they didn’t leave him completely bald, to my relief. The second time around was even better, he came out looking beautiful in his soft white coat. Definitely making this place his regular!

Used wag my tail for years. Best groomer I’ve ever been to, and have had dogs my entire adult life. They aren’t just a groomer, they are more like friends who wash, bathe, clip, and clean your dog. I can’t believe there are any negative reviews on here. They really are the best. Keep it up Rachel and staff :)

Disappointing isn’t the word. They literally mutilated my dog. Almost every one of her nipples was cut and swollen and 2. other gashes above her leg. I should have Unilocaled first… reading the owners responses to people shows her compassion for animals… zero. instead of being defensive and rude, maybe you should learn what customer service is and realize animals are just as important to some of us as children are. The place is a dump anyways and smelled like defecation and stale cigarettes. Don’t take your animal here. Go to pet smart or sparkle and shine. This place is disgusting

This place is great… It’s right down the road from my house so it’s conveniently located but aside from that they always do a nice job and they are kind and accommodating. Andy who works the front end is always helping us a little extra with discounts and add ons at no additional charge. The price is already unbeatable so what more could you ask for. It’s just a shame how I always hear people in there complaining about one thing or another. First off you will NOT find a less expensive place around and second, it is a school so the groomers are still in training.
BOTTOM LINE: this is a great place to get your shabby dog tuned up on a budget. Don’t expect a world renown groomer or to bring in your show dog prior to the Westminster show. But you will get way more than what you pay for so be greatful for their services. I will continue to be a happy customer.

Wag My Tail is my pups’ home away from home! Such a warm environment, from the front girl who always gives Max and Moo special love, to the family atmosphere. Max always gets a breed cut (he’s a Westie :) and they do a wonderful job, plus he always smells amazing! Moo was a little rescue from a local animal shelter, and we brought him directly to Wag and into the loving arms of their groomers. They really took their time with him and made him feel nurtured and cared for, and now Moo loves being with his big brother at the groomers!
I always try to make an appointment because they tend to get busy, but I’m pretty sure they accept walk-​ins also.

I’m giving this place two stars but only because the owner is so sweet. I’ve been taking my dog there for over a year. Each time not to thrilled with the grooming but figure my dog is big and hairy and it’s been better then nothing. Plus it is close by and convenient.
It saddens me that I will have to find a new place. My dog is very large (Newfoundland) with a very long heavy coat. The previous times they would return him with dirty ears, forget to clip his toenails, which seemed like minor inconveniences. But this last time has by far been the worst!
This latest fiasco started last week. Went thru the list of what he needed done (which I’ve done each time) only to come pick him up and he looked worse then when I dropped him off. I called the next morning and the male (owner) asked me to bring him back free of charge and because my dog’s coat is so thick, he said they should have offered a de-​shed and asked me why that wasn’t offered. I’m not the groomer here so I cannot answer that question. He said bring him back next week and we will take care of it.
I returned the following week and gave the girl up front the instructions as to the de-​shedding. I also asked to have my dog’s nails trimmed as it wasn’t done the few days before (again they either don’t trim nails, or clean ears) that happens each time I have taken my dog in. I told Andi to take their time with him so that it was done right.
I picked him up and he looked and felt awful. His coat was knotted up like if he had dreadlocks. The woman owner-​manager Rachel attempted to brush him out herself but realized this was a big project. She asked the groomer what happened to my dog. Come to find out they had students work on my dog. She sincerely apologized and offered the next 3 groomings free of charge and asked that I bring him back and she would put all her groomers on him to brush him out.
Took him in this morning, the girl at the front desk (Andi) which is the same person I’ve been dealing with, was yanking on my dog so hard that I took the lease from her, told her it was not necessary to yank him and got him through the gate. Kobe is a huge teddy bear but sweet and has never been a problem. If fact everyone there has always told me how great and well behaved he is. I didn’t see any reason for her to yank him in that manner. I asked her to please be nice to him as this stressed me out. I’ve never seen anyone there mistreat my dog. This was shocking. I again asked Andi if they could trim his nails (as this still had not been done the previous 2 times in this last week. She assured me that they would do it. Again!
A little over an hour from dropping him off Andi called (10:45) and said «Kobe will be ready in 20 minutes» i was a little surprised that it was so soon, but again figured they must have had several people work on him. I got there at 11:30 (which gave them some extra time — approximately ½ hour more) and asked if they had trimmed his nails. She came back out and said «they’re doing it — now I’m upset! I’ve been here 3 times in under a week and again waiting for them to finish up, even after they call and say he is done.
He was brought out 15 minutes later (12:00) only because I told Andi… Forget the nails I just need to get my dog and I need to get back to work.
In all fairness Kobe finally look better and whomever the groomer was this time did a great job. I would give this groomer 5 stars. Rachel also would get 5 stars because of her customer service .
But Andi needs to get into a different profession. I think this whole process could have been avoided if she would have paid more attention from the first time I dropped him off and made sure the dog looks good and everything she writes down is completed, before calling customers to pick up their dogs. Not sure what her title is there but she has no customer relations skills and today didn’t even bother to ask me when my dog was brought up if everything was okay. In fact she was very nonchalant as if all of this was my fault and made sure she avoided all eye and verbal contact with me. She should have dealt with me first instead of ignoring me while writing up a new client that came in. In fact the lady could tell how upset I was and even took the time to talk with me in the parking lot. Andi would have made more points to have the lady wait, deal with me and my dog. I would have left in a better frame of mind. I’m sure that this customer would expect the same treatment. Now she feels she might need to find another groomer.
So a note to Rachel — customer service is so important, as you know and practice, but if while you are gone, your employees treat customers that have accepted that problems happen and still give your business a chance to rectify, then those are the customers who deserve better treatment. Andi was rude and never once apologized for any of her errors. Even though you have offered free grooming, I do not believe I can deal with Andi.

Came to this place by a recommendation from a friend, but left completely and utterly disappointed.
I took my Shepherd and Malamute in. The Malamute had not seen a groomer in about a year. In my 8 years of ownership of her I had maybe «not taken her» a total of 3 other times for that long, because usually I would take her every 6 months. Because of her long coat she had acquired a lot of matted balls :-(.
In the other 3 times she had gone that long the groomers would usually just cut off those sections of the matted hairs and comb out the rest of her fur. $ was not an issue, as other groomers usually charged me about $ 100 for her. I just needed her cleaned up.
When I picked her up they had completely shaved her; to the skin. My beautiful long coated malamute now looked like a naked mole rat. They charged me $ 82 for completely Shaving her. RIDICULOUS!
That showed lack of common sense and I paid a lot for it. I’m sure they are capable of doing easy washes, but I would not recommend them for long haired animals that might need a professional touch. They obviously lack the experience.
I would highly recommend «Rusty’s» in Studio City. Unfortunately they are a ways from me know, hence why I decided to give Wag My Tail a try, BIG MISTAKE!

Amazing! My Dog Barbie just got dropped off by Rachel and she looks amazing! She really liked Rachel as well. And their prices are amazing. My other dog will get picked up tomorrow and i cant wait to have them washed once a month. Im extremely satisfied.

And charged a great price. Highly recommend this place, far from my house but well worth the drive. Only thing is when I got her back her nails weren’t trimmed but it was an easy fix. Smelled wonderful and they took out all of her knots. Not to mention great customer service!
