Yum Yum Donuts

Bad customer service. Wouldn’t let me use the restroom when spending 20 – 30 bucks on coffee bagels donuts coffee and Oj. Like omg

I may be getting spoiled with so many specialty donut shops available, but I was craving a donut and was just very disappointed with what I saw. I arrived at 12:30pm and while they had multiple options still available, they all looked soggy. They must have a humidifier in the case because usually they get dried out. The problem is that items like apple fritters, old fans joined etc. we’re not crispy and very soggy. Other choice the icy was very gooey. They need to stop with the additional moisture and stack production rather than cook once only. They do offer other non traditional items such as croissants, croinuts, sandwiches for you. The employees that assisted me was not able to assist me fully do to language barrier, I know I am in Southern California, but employees that are customer facing should know basic English. I tried to inquire why all the donuts seemed soggy and she did not understand me. My choices had to be made by pointing at them. I tried to ask what some of the bread choices were because the donuts did not look appetizing but she could not tell me in English. The store was very clean, the cleanest store on this strip mall. I will probably never go back to this ovation again, even if I am dying of hunger. Take this feedback as desired because I see others love this place. I unfortunately did not receive or experience what they saw.

The employees at thus place are ALL very rude, unprofessional, and with no manners whatsoever. Avoid at all costs.

The service was sooo good! The lady that works there is such a sweetheart. The other employee was sweeping the floors when we walked in and there were no customers. It’s nice to see a business being run well! The original glazed donut was delicious and tasted fresh. They had fresh coffee brewing too! The ranchero egg sandwich was tasty and they aren’t kidding — it is spicy!

We walk in and are ignored. They’re making drinks, glance over and continue on with their business.
Can you acknowledge us? Donuts were mediocre.

Stopped in this AM around 7am for two dozen donuts for my staff. Fast, efficient service and buy two dozen, get 2 additional donuts free. Approximately $ 17 for two dozen. Comments from my staff: really fresh, lots of jelly filling, extra large sized donuts! Small parking lot that gets congested with the 7 – 11 there too. Be carful. I plan to be back for the Cronas — donut /​croissant hybrid.

Staff are on point and very friendly I work down the street and always get their amazing turkey bacon avocado bagel sand which sometimes I get it in a cruossiant but it’s amazing. Perfectly heated and cut just amazing!!!

My food was awesome but the service was sadly slow. Wasted 25 mins on a Dam bagel sandwich which was awesome by the way!!! But next time guys hurry up

My boyfriend went there last Saturday to pick donuts up for breakfast. I was so surprised when he came home really really upset. He is the nicest guy ever and for their employee to treat him rude is beyond me. Nowadays, we pay for good customer service as well as the product and its so sad that companies like this allow for poor customer service. The time before that, they didn’t have the donuts that we wanted. If your open 24 hours why aren’t you always going to have donuts available. Seems to me, every time we go there they can’t seem to get it right!

Whenever I get my donut cravings once in a blue moon I decide to come here. The donuts always taste freshly made. I get the dozen donuts so my cravings don’t come back for a while. The staff is always nice and friendly. Parking can be a bit of a hassle though. But it is worth it

I love this place it’s the best place they’ll ever be !:) everything always so fresh and the staff is always very friendly and nice… they always help me and give me suggestions and I don’t like many donut shops but this place is the best place there will ever be!:) I definitely recommend this location: D if I could I would add 10 stars

I stop by this Yum Yum Donuts regularly for all sorts of things.
They have Donuts (obviously), pastries, croissants, bagels, and sandwiches. Their donuts and pastries are like anywhere else expect that they are NEVER stale no matter what time of day you walk in.
Their croissants are always nice and flaky on the outside but perfect in the middle. I like to get the ham and cheese croissant because they use Black Forest Ham and Monterrey Jack Cheese; none of that gluey and slimy fake ham.
Their breakfast sandwiches are pretty good. I’ve tried the bacon and cheese sandwich as well as the sausage, cheese, and egg sandwich. They let you choose what you want your sandwich made with, a croissant or bagel. The only thing I don’t like is that they microwave their eggs which really isn’t that big of a deal because that is the common way fast-​food places make their eggs nowadays.

One of the reasons I enjoy coming here is because the employees are outstanding. I never seem to have a problem with them. They always answer my questions, and even ask me questions in order to get everything just right. They even offer up their own suggestions when I am not sure of exactly what I want.

I can’t believe I haven’t written a review for my one and only love YUM YUM: D !!!
I love this particular location:
— One, because they’re really close to me (less than 10).
— Two, the donuts are almost always fresh; during the day they are but when you stop in like at 3am like I have because Yum Yum will call my name in the wee morning hours they’re not always t-​h-​e freshest but still really good. This has happened a time or two if you couldn’t tell.
* The chocolate bar and chocolate glaze are my at most FAVORITE
* Devils Food and the classics with sprinkles are a close second
* Also, they’re breakfast bagel sandwiches are really good
— Three, the workers here are really nice and some of them even know me by face and order ha ha. When I walk in they’ll ask me where my brother and dad are because they haven’t seen me or them in quite some time.
Yes I know, I try to go M.I.A. on Yum Yum because I want to be healthy but they treat me so nice and show me so much love that I just can’t help myself.
So, after writing this review I have this sudden urge for donuts, that I must fulfill!!! Until next time :]

Open 24 hours, the homeless frequent the area including this Yum Yum Donuts. 12am, an old homeless man slouched over in a booth dozing in and out of consciousness; I had never seen so many wrinkles on a face before. I ordered my mediocre donuts, walked over to the ugly yellow booth and asked him what he wanted. I know this sounds self-​serving, but giving a little doesn’t hurt.
He abruptly sat up, looked around and said «Me?! A coffee please?». He was so happy just to have a warm cup of anything. I patted him on the back and walked out. While I sat in my nice warm truck stuffing my face with a Jelly and Glazed, I watched him hold that cup like it was Jesus… or maybe just like a cup of coffee… I dunno it was hard to tell from where I was sitting. Anyway. I realized that my shitty existence isn’t so bad… at least for tonight. Lol. Donuts!

If you’re a business owner, let me give you two cents’ worth of free advice: It is probably not a wise idea to berate your customers for their choice of payment method.
Earlier today, on my way home from a trip to the supermarket to buy groceries, I realized I hadn’t eaten all day and so decided to pop into Yum Yums to grab myself a donut. I quite like their donuts. They may be over-​processed and are probably about 60% rubber, but at 89¢ you can’t really complain, especially when your choices are «eat a rubbery donut» or «don’t eat a donut of any variety», with the modifier of «Man, I sure could go for a donut right now.»
I bought a donut; a single, chocolate-​glazed ring donut. I was served by a man, likely the manager, with an uncanny likeness to a certain fictional Italian plumber and who, it turns out, is a construct of bone and blood held together by his utter contempt for his customers. If Basil Fawlty decided to pack in the hotelier business, move to California and open a donut franchise, then inexplicably gained 100 pounds and shrank about three feet in height, he’d probably be more personable than the man who sold me my chocolate-​covered car tire.
I went to pay and discovered that I didn’t have any cash on me. That’s to be expected — it’s 2011, nobody has any money — but I did have my debit card and there was money on that. Dutifully, I handed the card over.
The man, whom I shall refer to as Winstable, looked at the card, snatched it from my hand, swiped it into the card reader then set it down on the counter, shaking his head like a doctor who’s about to tell someone’s next of kin that their uncle didn’t survive the tonsillectomy.
«This is no good,» said Winstable. «I don’t like this card. I don’t make as much money when you pay by card. It’s like I’m selling you the donut for 45¢.»
He was probably referring to the card processing fee his provider charges, which is likely around 25−40¢ depending on who he’s using. He still took my payment. Apparently he still needs the 45¢, despite his complaints.
I was going to point out that walking to the adjacent 7 – 11 and withdrawing a twenty would set me back three whole clams, which would bring the cost of the donut to just shy of $ 4, and that only a fool would pay four bucks for a donut that, in all likelihood, had all the texture and flavor of a whiteboard eraser. Instead, I took my card and my newly purchased donut and left.
I’ve gone into Yum Yums a fair amount since moving into the area two years ago. I wouldn’t say I’ve given them a lot of business — if I stopped going there I doubt they’d notice — but generally if I’m on my way back from the supermarket I’ll swing in and get a donut or two. Generally they’ve been very polite. There are a number of other staff there who are friendly and courteous, and for that reason I’m awarding the store an additional star.
But our beloved Winstable has clearly become embittered by his years as a donutsmith. It has left him a shell of a man, broken and miserable, and he’s set out to make any company who come through his unremarkable brown-​framed glass doors as miserable as possible.
As he seemed vexed at having to take a mere 45¢ of the 90-​odd he was charging me, I shall do him a favor and ensure that money goes elsewhere from now on. 7 – 11 offers two donuts for a dollar, after all. They may not be great, but they at least don’t seem to give a fig how credit card transactions are divvied up. Perhaps knowing that the burden of the payment processing fee will be someone else’s to bare will help Winstable sleep at night.

Great selection of donuts, even at 3:00 am, which is when I get there to buy for my work. The donut maker is super friendly, and makes pretty donuts.

Yum Yum donuts should be called Yuck Yuck.

and by the looks of it, all the Yum Yum donuts in the area have really bad ratings.
their donuts have this strange taste of chalkiness that really makes you want to swear off donuts for the rest of your life.
