This was my first time here and I can’t wait to come back to try the chicken. I really wanted it today but I was dining alone so I had a book to read and needed my hands to be clean. ;)
The mojo roast pork was fantastic. Very tender and flavorful and the perfect serving size. There was a great salsa bar, with all kinds of sauces including a pineapple salsa and a cilantro garlic dressing.
Prices are very reasonable, they have coke zero, and the service was very impressive. There was only one lady working the counter but she was running two registers so she could help two customers at once. And she was polite and friendly and didn’t mess anything up. And when I went back up for a drink refill a guy came up after me and tried to get helped first. A different employee was polite to him but made a point to help me first. Not used to such good service in Miami! ;)

Love the boneless chicken rice and black beans. Service was better than the four that I Have visited. But still not that great for this busy location. But the outdoor space is nice. Plus they cover their sauces with pumps

Just bad. The tomatoes smelled rotten and when i took the food back to the counter, the manager just stared at me. Didn’t offer to replace the meal. Didn’t offer to refund my money. Just stood there, silent. I waited a couple of minutes as he stared and I repeated the problem, finally just gave up and walked out. No one said a word to me

The perfect place for Latin Caribbean food at a low price. Amazing location with outdoor terrace seating right on Collins ave. Good music too. I get along with many of the employees here. They treat me and my friend like family. A good note is that they also have a light and healthier side menu. Plus free refills for fountain drinks.

While walking around I noticed the decent smell of food coming from Pollo Tropical while I was on vacation. As a tourist I decided to check it out. It was my first time visiting this place. I decided to get the chicken. I did not regret it one bit. The chicken was juicy and moist. They give a lot of meat. They also have a great selection of sauces you can choose from which all are really good. There dish entitled «Yucca» was pretty delightful as well. It defiantly is worth the money. The customer service can be enhanced a little more to be friendlier. Either than that I recommend checking it out and judging for yourself :)

If you are looking for value this place is a solid 5 star. Most of the dishes are really good, better than what you would expect from any fast food place (except Chipotle) but of course some not so much for example rice several times was either super dry or extremely mushy, sometimes all two mixed together (mushy and very dry rice in one bowl), shrimp was definitely bad, bread is like any American bread meaning bad bad bad (so this one is not their fault) but I will overlook those «details» and still rate this place a solid 4 star overall.

Value for the money is really high here. The half chicken has a lot of meat on it. The pulled pork sandwich is excellent. The choice of sauces is a nice extra. I opted for rice and beans as one of my side dishes. Service was fast and friendly.

The drive-thru staff was definitely bothered by the time we arrived to place an order. But I won’t hold that against them.
The food was delicious. Love the sauces. The chicken wrap with avocado was good but I wish it was a little bigger!
The quarter chicken meal was also delicious.

The sunny isles location is great! Everything is fresh and tasty. I usually order a chicken tropi chop, grilled wings or grilled chicken breast. The sauces are amazing, especially the amazon sauce and cilantro garlic sauce. The plantains are to die for and the yellow rice and veggies are delicious as well. This place takes fast food to another level, unlike anything available in Maryland.

Got a caribbean soup and a chicken caesar salad. Food seemed to be very fresh and flavorful. I was in and out quicker than some of the people in the drive thru. Will definitely visit again.

Decided to try this place since it was the only good thing in the area and smelled good. So my cousin and I decided to walk in and loved the smell of the chicken. I decided to grab the salad since it looked good in the picture and my cousin decided to grab the wrap. It was pretty expensive about 7 bucks for the salad and 5 bucks for the wrap combo. Anyways my cousin got his food an the wrap was literally really small and we love I eat he was a but disappointed but he still enjoyed it. My salad with chicken was a big portion and does fill you up so nothing to really complain about there. They have the chicken pieces 5 of them for 4 bucks which is bad maybe next time I will try it since the chicken in the salad tasted good. Overall the place is ok but portion sizes seems rip off and needs a little better customer service but overall it’s something good to eat in the area

Eine echt positive Überraschung war dieses Restaurant. Super leckeres Huhn vom Holzkohlegrill mit einer großen Auswahl an Beilagen. Das Publikum ist hauptsächlich mexikanisch und cubanisch. Das Essen, alles was wir probiert haben war richtig lecker und sehr günstig. Für 2 Personen haben wir mit Vorspeise 13 Dollar bezahlt. Kein Vergleich zu den Fast Food Ketten, die man sonst aus den Staaten kennt. Richtig gut war das der Cubanische Wrap und der Reis, den es zu dem Huhn gab war eine echte Abwechslung. Wir kommen wieder.
