I happened to wander on in here the other night when I was picking up food from Il Postale. Apparently I JUST missed the Sunnyvale Wine Walk so things were bustling on Murphy Street. I had my dog with me(Snuggles). He’s a toy Havanese, only 7 pounds and was in a pretty carrier that looked like a purse. Although he’s very quiet and passive, there are many places that simply turn you away with an animal. But the owner warmly welcomed me in, told me all about the festival I missed and gave me a flyer for an upcoming one. She kindly pointed out items around the store that were on sale or really good deals. She was even so thoughtful that she asked if my dog was thirsty and ran to her back room, filled a bowl with fresh water and offered it to him. I was blown away by the level of kindness and customer service. If I hadn’t been picking up food that I knew was ready and they were waiting on me, I’d stayed much longer and shopped. They have an eclectic assortment of items and while the store is small-ish, it’s well laid out so you don’t feel like a sardine. Even with a carrier on your arm. Special thanks for making me feel so welcome and appreciated. I can’t wait to go back :)

I love going to Tangerine. Donna is a very pleasant and soft-spoken person. It is delight to check out their purses every time I go to downtown. The prices are reasonable and many bags are in good taste. Oh yeah, the locally made soaps and oils are wonderful!
