Both Judy and Wilson are so talented. I was quite scared to trust new folks with my hair when I moved to the Peninsula, but luckily they both won over my hair and my heart. I can bring them a picture and trust them to make me look even better than the picture. They have keep me very stylish and very happy over the last 2 years. This is the best salon in Sunnyvale in my opinion, so if you’re looking, don’t hesitate any longer. Just make your way over to Wilson’s.

made an appointment, waited 45 minutes AFTER my appointment time just to talk to someone. They were super aggressive washing my hair. The right side of my hair was an inch longer than the left. 60 $ for absolute bullshit

I called today to see if Wilson’s would have anything available tonight or tomorrow, with a big wedding coming up on Sunday. Contrary to my expectations, they invited me in within a half hour!
Judy was really kind and hospitable, making sure to ask about any preferences I might have– a great first experience after cutting my own hair for over 2 years. She was simultaneously detail-​oriented and enthusiastic about the cut, and was already developing a vision for future visits by the time we were done.
I’m so grateful that Unilocal has been a faithful guide to a reliable business once again!

Horrible service, walked in to get my daughters hair cut and they turned us away and said they are all booked, when in fact there was a lady who worked there just sitting in the mirror and curling her hair, all I needed was my daughters bangs cut, horrible first impression, and this is at 2pm with no customers waiting.

Fantastic. I walked in after an extremely bad Great Clips haircut and asked if they could see me. They had an opening later that day so I booked it and came back. Michael was extremely gracious and listened closely to my description of what happened, and asked about my growing out goals, and my hair care routine. He shampooed my hair and uses a reconstructive conditioner on my damaged hair. He cut my hair very meticulously, explaining what he was doing as he went along to make sure that I was okay with the direction he was taking the haircut. He also walked me through styling the new cut and recommended some products and tools to get the same look at home. The salon was moderately busy and the vibe was great. Happy clients, chatting with stylists. Everyone looked stylish and the clients walked out looking beautiful. Michael really did wonders… I thought he would have to cut a lot of my hair off to fix the bad hair cut but he was able to salvage quite a bit, and we booked another appointment to keep my style on track thru the grow out. He discounted the products I bought as well. I am extremely happy and will continue to go back.

Found Wilson’s through Unilocal,had pretty good reviews so I thought I would book an appointment. Since it was late at night on a Wednesday I booked it online, and I wanted it for Saturday. I waited till Friday for a confirmation email but never received one, so I just decided to call. They booked me for that Saturday at 330, took down my number and name. So the next day I head over for my appointment, happy and excited to finally get my hair done, and they’re closed! Didn’t even bother to call me, which is the most frustrating part of it. You guys ask me for my number. but don’t call when you unexpectedly close? That doesn’t make sense. And now I drove all the way here just to be turned away. Its very upsetting and quite unprofessional.

Went in during the week for the first time and met stylist Judy for a hair cut. She was on time for the appointment and took her time with the consult to go over any problem areas and what I was looking for in a style.
Judy really took her time with me, was pleasantly sociable and addressed all of my problem areas. She even advised what would work best with my hair type and I am very happy with the cut she gave me.
Even with my fine hair, Judy was able to give me volume and movement without compromising on my length. I was also pleasantly surprised by the reasonable salon quality and affordable prices (cut was $ 65). I will definitely be back and after searching for a new stylist in this area, I will be happy to have Judy be my go to hairstylist.

I got my virgin hair colored by Judy in July of last year and she absolutely rocked! I was skeptical since it was my first time but she made it look gorgeous! I got lot of compliments. Then in January this year I wanted to have it done again but Judy wasn’t available. And as my stars shone, Wilson agreed to do it!
1. He came to the salon on Sunday for me, which is a holiday and that too in between his vacation. Which shows how much interest he takes in his clients :)
2. He worked out a combination of colors for my hair that was something like 3D. He put 4 effing colors in my hair and that needed so much patience. It took about 5 hours but was worth the time!
3. He also gave me products to use to protect my color since I was going to be exhaustively traveling overseas.
I absolutely adore Judy and Wilson. They are such stars!
I am going for another appointment in 2 – 3 weeks and can’t wait! :) :)

After going to Judy for years and being pleased with her work. I voiced my concern about how late she was running (very common) and how I was concerned that she was working on 2 other clients with appts after mine while processing my color, as well as seeming to forget about me before passing me off to another stylist. She became defensive and refused to see me again. This is considering that I’ve given her tons of referrals and business. I learned the hard way that she cannot take the slightest critique. She also gossips about other clients and their personal issues as well as discusses her own at length.

I had my hair cut and dyed by Jayden, and I’m absolutely thrilled. I have dark, generally unmanageable hair, and Jayden was able to cut it to make it easy to style, then lighten it and overdye it purple so it’s fun. It took quite a bit of time – six hours, with the bleaching and dyeing – but it was totally worth it.
Everyone in the salon was super friendly, very accomodating and even offered me lunch, tea and small snacks while I was going through the process. They taught me how to style it at home, and how to care for the color over time to ensure the longest, brightest life. They took my hair from totally wrecked to amazing, and I’ll definitely be back as a regular.

I found Wilson’s Salon Friday evening online and chanced walking in the next day for a cut and dye job. Not only were they able to squeeze me in a few hours later, but they did an outstanding job!
Jayden was my stylist and I must say he turned it out like a rockstar! He really took his time on making sure the entire process was done just right. And though I wasn’t prepared to be there as long as I was, the final result surpassed my expectations completely.
Getting to play the role of a true «fly on the wall» during those hours, allowed me to also quietly observe the entire salon and staff through the styling mirrors and different angles of my swivel chair. I was impressed. The staff is friendly, accommodating, talented, and able to multi-​task and work in even their busier waves of appointments, with ease. They take pride in their establishment and display passion in their individual skill. Half of their clientele seemed to be regulars, which is also a great sign of good, consistent work. I also came to realize later, that the person who booked me initially that morning was Wilson himself, who seems to be an awesome and down-​to earth guy.
10 inches shorter, and maybe about 10 shades lighter, I have an amazing hair cut! Yup, I definitely put them to work. Whether you go in for a quick trim, a sexy new ‘do’ for date night, or a statement kind of hair transformation (I was closer to this side of the spectrum), I believe Wilson’s Salon can accommodate your individual vision. I’ve definitely found a go-​to stylist in Jayden, and a salon I can recommend with no hesitation.

I had the WORST experience ever today! My appoinment was with Jayden. While washing my hair before the cut he left me at the sink for about 15 minutes. When I looked around I found him eating his lunch. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want anyone to stay hungry. What I don’t like is booking an appointment back to back where the hairdresser doesn’t get to eat his lunch. I felt bad for him but also for myself because my time should matter. Isn’t this why we make an appointment?
When I sat down for my haircut I noticed he was also attending to another customer who had a hair color/​highlight appointment! He cut my hair and then LEFT AGAIN to attend to the other customer he had. He asked someone else to blowdry my hair. Since Jayden was still busy attending the other customer, this other person who was blowdrying my hair asked if he can style my hair. I said I am waiting for Jayden to cut my bangs.
Anyways, Jayden didnot/​could not attend to me anymore. I was getting anxious as I had to go pick up my son from the daycare. I was running late at this point. Then Wilson decided to cut the bangs and he did the final styling (or simply blowdrying) I had no time to argue about anything. I paid and left with a bitter taste. I am so unhappy that I paid $ 65 for such a horrible experince. I ended up picking my son 15 minutes late.
What I don’t understand is why they booked two customers with one hairdresser at the same time and worse that Jayden was so booked that he had no break to eat his lunch.
Bottom line, this was the worst experience ever in terms of haircut. I will never go back and will not recomment this salon to anyone.
