Maybe it was my fault for coming in with high hopes, or maybe it was everyone who over rated it here on Unilocal, but it was a disappointment for my friend and I. 〰The food was not terrible, we were starving so food would taste amazing either way. I ordered the wheat pancakes. Compared to home made alternative, their pancake was no worth it. Dry and rough texture. No what you want from a pancake. Egg Benedict were good, to be honest I rarely get egg Benedict but tried them here and they were good, plus very healthy alternative to a fried egg. 〰The price was not worth the quality and service. They charge you a dollar for a small bottle of maple syrup; the same kind that crackle barrel gives away for free 3−4+ per person, plus free biscuits. A small orange juice, which fresh was a little over priced too. 〰Came here for the«healthy» alternative, which I got, but not the taste I was hoping for, or value for the $. I can go to Original Pancake house and get their wheat pancakes that taste 100% better. Again, I might have been holding them to a higher standard, but at the end of the day it was a disappointment none the less. But check them out, my aunt and cousin love them and I know a lot of other people do too, so give them a try, prove me wrong

We LOVE first watch. There is always a pretty long wait but we use the mobile app and by the time we arrive to the restaurant we are getting seated! I have to say that for always being so full they flip the tables very fast all while main ting good service. Highly recommend. The pancakes are out of this world. You would never think they are whole grain! And their smoothies are really great too!

UPDATE: I’m going to try the place again, give benefit of the doubt. Manager was kind enough to reach out to me. When? I’m not sure keep everyone posted. However I’ll give two extra stars just because someone reached out. I’m not sure if these reviews are legitimate or some of these people have never eaten seasoned food. I went there once never went back. First we unfortunately had to be served by an obnoxious loud flamboyant guy. Strike one… We waited I kid you not 15 mins for scrambled eggs. Strike 2…(That day you could feel the disorganization). Do they season the food? The pancakes omg tasted like dough… When I told the waiter, «hey is it possible to get another batch taste like dough.» The server replied, «it’s flour.» It’s obviously undercooked… LOL Anyways I rather make my own breakfast at home properly seasoned.

Good food. Very popular, but ridiculously long wait. Use the ‘No Wait’ app and go shopping for the sometimes HOUR and a HALF wait!

I love this place! Everything I have gotten has been delicious. They are a tad pricey, but I don’t mind paying if the food is as good as they serve. Make sure you get there early, they get PACKED! Staff is always friendly, service is quick. A great place for breakfast, lunch, or brunch. They just opened a new location in Pembroke Pines if Sunrise is too far to go. :)

I love this place! Great find. I saw a friend of mine raving about it on Facebook and decided to check it out. My only complaint is that the word is out so peak hours are crazy busy. First of all the staff are all extremely friendly. They seem to be happy that they are there which is refreshing. Thank you. They bring a caraf of water and coffee to your table upon seatimg. That is terrific because you are never put in a position of waiting for a refill. Kinda makes it homey too. I have had several things now. I would recommend the crepes filled with deliciousness and are paired with most delectable potatoes ever. I don’tknkw how they do it but the are crisp on the outside and soft on the inside and NOT at all greasy. Yom! I have also have enjoyed a few of their large selection of pancakes. Mouthwatering! Eggs, turkey sausage and their omletes. I love that this place gives you a healthy optiin when dining out. They are on point! Check them out!

This is meh jam! And speaking of jam, hello strawberry! Took the family here after surviving the 24 hour stomach bug and First Watch made us feel like we were back to normal. The Kale Tonic is light and fresh. Thank you lord for the Tri-fecta! Not only is this one of our families favorite words to say… the food that came on this delightful dish was just what the Dr ordered! New breaky spot for my clan! Do yourself a favor, check this spot out!

This place is really clean inside and somehow feels a little fake, but not in a bad way. The people are super duper nice, and food comes out quickly. I got the hash, it was a little on the dry side, but still pretty good. They have soup/sandwich/salad deals that are also pretty good and a good size. Also got one of the juice drinks. We saw it come out to other people and it had a lot of ice, so we asked for less ice. When it came out, they just gave us less juice too. It tastes really fresh but sucks that they skimp on the serving. Overall, I would come again.

We came here for brunch as a group of 9 and were told it would be a 30 – 45 min wait. It sucks that they don’t take reservations given how popular they seem to be, but they text you when your table is ready so you can walk around the complex while you’re waiting or sit and have some free coffee they have set out. Service was fine and our food came out in a timely manner. I got the parma hash with small OJ. The OJ was extremely watered down. It didn’t even taste like they squeezed an unripe orange, just straight up water. And given that I could get a full jug at a grocery store at a similar price, I definitely expected better. The parma hash was equally a letdown. I got a mix of burnt, chewy, soft, and crumbly potatoes, topped with sausage that just fell apart and had no taste, tomatoes and onions that were salty, a layer of cheese that tasted like it was bordering the expiration date, plus some eggs and mushrooms. It came with a small side of fruit(3 pieces of melon, 3 grapes, and 1 pineapple slice), as well as a buttered english muffin with some jelly. Out of everything I had, the english muffin was the most palatable. I thought maybe it was just me that didn’t like the hash, but someone else at our table got the exact same thing(down to the over easy eggs) and had the same response. The only reason I’m going with 3 stars instead of 1 or 2 is because the other people at our table seemed to enjoy their dishes more than we did, although they did comment that«it’s overhyped,» «nothing to write home about,» and«iHOP is better». I think the only redeeming factor of this whole experience was that the food was supposedly healthy. Next time, we’ll just choose to make something better at home.

I absolutely love First Watch, I don’t know whether it’s because it has such a homie vibe, or that it’s just nostalgic for me because I’ve grown up eating at this restaurant chain for most of my life in Naples, FL. But now I can say, regardless of where I am, I always have a delicious and satisfying experience at First Watch. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The décor is simple and fresh and their dishes, which ever selection you make, seems to always hit the right spot. Fore warning, I’ll only be recommending breakfast menu dishes to try, since I’ve only eaten breakfast here haha. But I’m pretty sure their lunch menu is just as tasty. First, pleeeeeease try the Floridian French toast. I can seriously remember this was the first item I ever ordered from this restaurant, and that was probably 10 years ago lol. It’s 4 pieces of French toast, covered in strawberries, kiwis, wheat germ, and powdered sugar. One of my go-to’s when I feel like eating something a little naughty. You can’t go wrong with any of their omelettes. The Bacado(bacon and avocado, what more should I say?), The Works(ham, bacon, and sausage), and the Greek Fetish(red peppers, spinach, and onions). More healthier options, Fresh Fruit Crepes(thin crepes filled with strawberries and bananas topped with a strawberry yogurt drizzle) and Healthy Turkey(egg white omelette with spinach, tomatoes, and you’ve guessed it, turkey). What’s new that wasn’t on the menu years and years ago are quinoa power bowls and now they also serve fresh squeezed fruit juices/green juices. This place seriously makes me happy, and I need to make it a habit of coming back more often. Thank goodness they’re building one in pines, but even so, I would still make the drive up to Sunrise.

I love First Watch. I tried it after a friend recommended it to me and it’s not only healthy, but also delicious. I tried the Kale drink and it was great. It tasted good, even though it was healthy and that’s a win/win for me. I had the special which was steak with eggs and it was also healthy and delicious. I had no guilt afterwards. The portion was a little smaller than expected but still filling enough for me and still worth it. The coffee was great although I accidentally ended up putting salt in it(clearly I needed coffee) because I saw it on the table.(Major blond moment) The customer service was on point. She asked multiple times how we were doing and greeted us with a smile. She was very friendly as well. The atmosphere is pretty normal. It’s clean, bright and a typical restaurant. The only thing I’d say was that for 2 people it ended up being $ 45 but quality over quantity I guess. It was still very, very good but just for breakfast, it was a bit much. If you ever feel like eating healthy and delicious, it’s still worth it, at least for one try, it’s a great place to go. I highly recommend it and there are options for everybody. The menu is extensive enough and versatile enough for me to go with pretty much any of my friends or family. I have read other reviews and heard it’s a long wait but I went during the weekday around 10:30am and I had no wait. I will 150% be back and I highly recommend this spot to anybody and everybody.

Some co-workers of mine told me about First Watch; about how the food is all natural, wholesome and organic. They specialize in breakfast entrees(breakfast served all day until they close at 2:30pm) and also serve lunch items like soups, sandwiches and salads. So far, out of the many times I’ve dined there, I’ve tried the Santa Fe Salad, the Banana Crunch multigrain pancakes, the Belgian Waffle with berry compote, and the summer special Avocado Toast. Every time I visit, I can never decide what I want because everything on the menu sounds and looks so tasty(and healthy!). One of the best things about the food here is that it is fresh. Pretty much like you live on a farm and are eating food fresh from your farm and garden right on site. When my husband and I visited Quebec, we stayed in the countryside at a condo that had its own restaurant. Our waitress told us that she lives with her boyfriend on a farm, and her face nearly exploded with sunshine when she described her eating lifestyle: fresh eggs, fruits and vegetables, fresh baked bread… you name it. I feel this way every time I eat here. Another way I know the food is fresh and organic here is because I tend to have a food allergy to some produce like avocado and strawberry. I eat these here at First Watch, and I NEVER have an allergic episode, which is a clear indication that the food they serve may be free of pesticides and/or GMOs which tend to cause allergic reactions in many people like me. Since I visit the restaurant very frequently, the waitstaff recognize my face and are always extremely friendly. The service is fast and rarely do I ever experience issues with my orders. If something is wrong with or missing from my plate, they never hesitate to correct it, and when they do, they correct it quickly. All of this being said, First Watch is of the best breakfast/lunch places I’ve ever experienced, hands down. I’m literally addicted. If I were to ever move away, First Watch will be one the first things I miss.

Even though this is technically a ‘chain restaurant’, First Watch is one of the best little breakfast places I’ve been to. It’s nice that the food is always consistent regardless of which location you go to. The Sunrise location is always extremely busy so I recommend getting there as early as possible or else the wait is usually up to an hour, sometimes more. They do have free coffee while you wait though. My favorite food items are always in the Fall. Their pumpkin pancakes are 10 of 10 on the pancake scale and you can’t pass up a pumpkin bagel with pumpkin cream cheese. They also have several ‘regular’ breakfast items(toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, etc.) and even a special menu for those being health conscious.

We had a very good little breakfast. The food is packed with flavor and cooked to perfection and the atmosphere is comfortable and upbeat as well. It’s an interesting looking place– you wouldn’t really think it’s a restaurant let alone a place that offers food but don’t let that stop you from trying it. We thoroughly enjoyed every part of our meal and I know it sounds sad, but that is very very hard to find these days and especially in this area. We would definitely come back.

This chain restaurant is very good. There’s always a line out the door so plan to wait at least half an hour on the weekends. We went on a Saturday morning around 9:30am and we waited 40 mins. The server came immediately to ask for our drink orders. This location is kept clean and neat. The kitchen is slightly open so you can see inside. The menu is typical breakfast brunch food with some unique things like crab cakes benedict and pecan waffles. I had the bacon and onion hash with over easy eggs. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The seasoned potatoes and Bacon mixed with melted cheddar cheese was delicious. It was overly salted or oily. Just the right amount of gluttony. It came with a side of mixed fruit and an English muffin. Also a small dish of raspberry jam. The rest of my party raved about their food as well. Good brunch place!

If you’re looking for plain bland bacon and eggs get your ass outta here, this places is popping with flavor. These people aren’t your conventional breakfast, no sir they’re not, this place is a plethora of deliciousness. Let’s start with my favorite, the chikichanga… Hold the phone, because you’re gonna wanna go in on this burrito like it were free(but it’s not) The spices, the combination, the energy this little guy exudes is off the charts! Totally worth it. Carrot cake and bacon cheddar pancake… Why the hell didn’t I try this before? My mouth was indulged with so many flavors my eyes nearly popped out of my head. I’d marry these two if it were legal. I do solemnly swear to eat you and become one. YOUREGONNALOVEIT… Unless you’re a weak breakfast consumer then get your ass out of here.

First Watch is the Imagine Dragons of restaurants. They are massively popular but they are not memorable. They are familiar enough to enjoy but they are missing that personality(does anyone know the lead singer of Imagine Dragons?) that makes me want to return again. I have gone here a few times because it is close to my office. They are reliable, reasonable, friendly and have healthy options. They also offer coupons through their e-mail list, so be sure to sign up. They serve breakfast and lunch all day here, so there is definitely something for everyone. I usually go for the«2 for you» because of the variety. The Reuben Sandwich and the Pecan Dijon Salad make a pretty good combo. Another good option is the BLTE(a BLT with a fried egg, breakfast joining lunch in a sandwich). Much to my surprise First Watch has a very devoted following. Be careful of your timing because this place can get very busy at peak lunch time and on the weekend.
