Great service. Our waiter sounded like he was Captain America. The sweet chili calamari was sent from heaven and Jesus himself cried over it. Always one of my fav places to eat.

I really, really, really wanted to like it. Nice friendly staff and tasty bread. Everything else, nope. Wedge salad slowly sunk and disappeared into a river of dressing while my poor caesar dried up. Medium rare steak is actually well done and you get a bowl(yes, an actual bowl) of «corporate secret sauce» which is also a whole lotta nope.

This was the worst dining experience we have ever had! Came in for dinner and the host put us on a wait even though there were plenty of tables available in the place. We were seated and the waitress was so inattentive that we thought we were invisible. The food was ok but the service was by far the worst. We will never be back! The manager was not very compassionate or even acted like he could care that our experience was so bad. Terrible service and management. Do not go to longhorn steakhouse.

I read a few of the reviews on here before writing mine. This place seems to have a tendency of hiring waiters that are not attentive and are slow to bring out essentials. I basically had to beg my waiter several times to please bring me some lemons for my water because I don’t enjoy straight tap water. My wife and I both ordered steaks. Hers a prime rib and mine a New York strip. We both always like our steaks cooked medium-rare like most people that enjoy steak do. Her steak came out rare and quite bloody and my steak was cooked nearly well-done. By this point I was very irritated and completely out of patience so I didn’t end up eating much of my steak and we took my wife’s steak home and finish cooking it ourselves. That may sound like a joke, but it is the God’s honest truth. I was very unimpressed to see the waiter bullshitting with a patron at the bar instead of taking care of the very small handful of tables he had in his section. I’m giving it two stars instead of just one because the sides we ordered were absolutely delicious. We had spinach, mashed potatoes, and macaroni and cheese. I do not intend on returning to Longhorn Steakhouse nor would I recommend it to any of my friends. I’d rather just go downtown to Sullivan’s or Truluck’s and spend the extra money with the assurance that I won’t be disappointed.

Don’t not go here. We had to wait thirty minutes for bread. We watch everyone get there bread and when in our time we got what look like scraps from other table. Waitress not attentive

I have been wanting to try this since it is right up the road. However, it was disappointing. The place wasn’t busy, yet the service was slow. Then there was the food… Maybe I am just spoiled by all of the incredible food choices we have in Austin, but this place is not good. The steaks were cooked properly but had no flavor at all. We never got any bread, even though I watched every other table get it. So, I can’t comment on the flavor of that. Anyway, I can’t say this is a horrible place, but I do not recommend it.

This place is officially the worst place in Austin to go for dinner. Out of lettuce? No salads? Guess I should have expected this from a steakhouse owned by the same company that owns Olive Garden. At least Olive Garden has endless salads!

Got there early for lunch. No crowds no problem searing. The bread they make on site is good, soft, crusty edges. Had the shrimp appetizer which was large portion. Good flavor. The breading was a little wet. Prefer fried foods to be a little crispier. Got the lunch 6oz steak with Parmesan and asparagus. Cooked correctly and good flavor. Stepped up to a signature salad and was underwhelmed. The croutons on the salad was the best part of the salad. Not a bad lunch place. Squarely competes with Texas Land/Cattle. Convenient. Easy. Aok.

I haven’t been to a Longhorn Steakhouse in a while. The wait staff is amazing and you can tell they really care about bringing great service. I ordered the Flo’s filet medium rare. It came to the table more well done and the waitress insisted on getting me a new steak as well as dessert. Angel was a great waitress and went above and beyond!

Great restaurant, great country atmosphere and great customer service! The bartender, Shannon is great and server, Chuck gets it right every time. Great choice for a good steak dinner!

I don’t know why I came here… probably because it is close to my house… cheap…and I was too lazy to make my own meat. ANYWAY.. . The atmosphere is like a Chili’s Bar & Grill. The music that was played was near awful(pop country I think it was) and was at a volume that was loud enough to distract me throughout most of my meal. The menu was extensive and slightly strange(lots of weird appetizers to choose from). I ended up ordering a 6 oz filet, medium-rare with grilled shrimp skewers, a salad, baked potato, and asparagus. The filet was actually really fucking good. Tender, flavorful, and cooked just right. Next up, the asparagus. cooked well… crispy with great flavor. The shrimp skewers were okay. I ate all of the shrimp… but nothing really too fantastic. Just okay. The baked potato was sad. Wasn’t very hot… had some bacon, sour cream, cheese, butter. Kinda tasteless, truthfully. I drowned it in A-1 sauce and ate a bit of it. The salad was really fucked up though. Don’t ever order the salad here. It’s a waste. Iceberg lettuce with gross croutons thrown on top. Maybe some carrot slivers and cherry tomatoes? I could be wrong on the cherry tomatoes part. I think I made that one up. Really gross. A waste of food. They served a little loaf of bread that was kind of really good… and some type of buttery dip stuff was served with my food. I wasn’t sure what i was supposed to be dipping in the buttery dip stuff… but it tasted fucking amazing and I basically dipped everything in it. I don’t even really know what it tasted like… oil…butter…garlic…salt. It was fucking good though. You can only order one drink at a time… which is strange. I ordered a shot and a beer… and I wanted my beer to chase my shot. Service was just fine.

Pretty good for the price. The Napa Chicken is good, but over seasoned. Ask for lighter seasoning and it’s probably great. They also put butter all over their sides, so if you’re looking for a lighter meal, be specific. Salad is iceberg lettuce, nothing special. All in all, a decent place to go with a family on a budget.

Nice atmosphere. Very personable place to eat. All the wait staff and managers are extremely nice. Great food. I like the music, but is a bit loud for pleasant conversation. Feel like you’re trying to talk over the music.

Update on more recent experiences: The food has been good and some of the seasonal items are very good. I still wouldn’t recommend them as a first choice for steak– there’s plenty of other steakhouses in the area. This is more a place for you if you’re looking for a lunch /dinner experience like a Carraba’s or similar chain. The waitstaff has been consistently good. They often have large parties of people and they do a good job of juggling multiple tables. The weakness at the moment is management-related. There are some issues with the kitchen– with mistakes on orders or food that is slow coming out. Not sure why this has been going on the past couple of months, but it does detract from the overall rating.

Awesome place The César salad I started off with was dry and kind of worried me since it was my first time here but the main enteré was amazing! I highly recommend the longhorn salmon and the ribs with loaded mash or baked potatos. I will def be coming back here!

Pretty bad experience here yesterday. Ordered a burger for lunch. Asked for it well done. Came out and I cut it in half, pitch red and the juice ran red… The chips and gravy or cesar or whatever sauce it came with were disgusting. Flagged my waitress down and instead of cooking me a new burger, they cooked my meat more(which I had already cut in half), burnt it, and threw it on a new bun with new lettuce and tomato… hmmmmmm. Didn’t take off any charges on my bill(but to be fair I didn’t ask) waitress and people were nice, but the cook sucks, I can cook a better burger at home on a propane grill. There are plenty of better places to eat and I won’t be back here.

Just had the saddest asparagus I’ve ever seen. Somebody cooked and served this stuff to me. Plus steak was burned to a crisp way over well done. But hey what did I expect right?

I’m a Yankee, sorry, don’t judge me. But, as a Texan at heart who«got here as fast as I could,» I now know my steak and I have the expectation that all Texas steakhouses, even chains, should be exceptional. This place is not. The steak is tough and cheap, the drinks taste like TGIFridays cheap mixes(that’s not a good thing), and the entire restaurant is ice cold. Did I mention everything tastes cheap, like maybe there’s a bin of knockoff meat they buy from? I don’t remember how much the bill was, but I think they attempt to apply legit steakhouse pricing to their menu. Try Willy’s place down in Southpark Meadows, even though it’s a chain it’s leagues above.

Food cooked to our request, delicious drinks, attentive service, cozy atmosphere. Took us a bit to find, but we called and they gave us directions after we got lost! Our suggestion, if not from the area, is to put Kohls into your GPS… right across the street, you cannot miss it. We really felt welcome at this place, and will be back soon.

Pretty good steakhouse for that beef fix. The Parmesan crusted chicken breast is by far the best thing on the menu. Try it before you die. Good salad, great appetizers, and decent steak. I had the stuffed portobello flat iron steak medium rare and it was delicious. The staff is incredibly polite. All in all a great experience for a first timer.
