Nice atmosphere great service. Sushi is good. They do make sushi with smaller pieces of fish. But still pretty tasty and good value.

I went in expecting your usual buffet that serves Sushi, but was surprised. Appetizers, Sushi, hibachi, all made to order. This is one of the only places I know around here that serves White Tuna. I will definitely be adding this spot to my normal rotation.

Outstanding place. Been several times and have enjoyed everything on each visit. Sushi is very good as is the Habachi and Noodle dishes. All made fresh to your order. The price is unbelievably low too

Good place for a sampling of sushi. However, the actual sushi comes out in a fish to rice ratio that is not typical of traditional sushi. I guess since the price is cheap… for lunch($ 11.99) at least… they cut costs by making extremely thin slicked of fish. That being said it’s still good! It actually a great place for others who would like to try some items without the high price of single rolls. This place also makes some great hand rolls! So as far as the hibachi and teriyaki meals… well they as not so great if you want it to taste like the descriptions. The meat is good, however they don’t taste like other places who specialize in these dishes. Their yum yum sauce is also watered downed and tasted bad. Overall a good deal for lunch! Get the ginger salad:)

Stopped here for the first time and I must say we had a great time and a great meal! Fawna was our server and she was extremely helpful and on top of it the whole time. This place is one of the very few great deals left in this beach. If you can believe it they have a $ 16.99 all you can eat special that is literally any thing on their menu, ANYTHING! The whole menu sushi, hibachi, apps, everything. We will now become regulars of this place!!!

Malia was our waitress. I wish i could eat every meal here. The price is incredibly low for what is served. We had a lot of sushi in our 5 person group. At other sushi restaurants, I would have paid at least 40 $ for the sushi I ate. I will be back tomorrow for more. The service was incredible. We got our food in about 2 minutes literally. The restaurant was extremely clean and everyone was friendly. Nothing but good things to say about this place.

Good food and great service. It isn’t the best sushi in the Myrtle Beach area but it’s definitely up there in my opinion. For $ 16.99 a person on weekends, you get unlimited sushi, appetizers, hibachi, and dessert. They also have the option to order off the menu. You definitely want to pace yourself if you get the unlimited option. It isn’t a buffet exactly. You order off a menu and they bring it out freshly made. They don’t offer any to-go boxes if you get the unlimited special and they say you might incur extra charges if you waste too much food. The dumpling appetizers were delicious and definitely something I’d order again. The sushi was good for the most part. The rice was very fresh and still on the warm side. We only ordered rolls(didn’t try the sashimi) and we liked most of them. The richmond, dynamite, volcano, hollywood, and sea angel rolls were all great. They weren’t overly riced and they all had great flavor. The crazy monkey roll was interesting and fun to try. It had fried banana in the middle and crab meat on top. It wasn’t bad but I still don’t plan on ordering it again. The spider roll however was unimpressive. They used entirely too much rice on those so we pretty much couldn’t taste the soft shelled crab. It felt like a waste of a perfectly good crab. But aside from that, everything else was awesome. All in all, we definitely plan on returning here. We’ll just be skipping the spider roll. Maybe next time we’ll get around to trying the hibachi items.

The idea of this type of restaurant is pretty cool… a hibachi/sushi all you can eat. You can pick any kind of appetizer, sushi, and entrée on the menu. you can also order as many times as you want, that is pretty cool. The menu selection is great. Overall, I like the concept and selections. Unfortunately, the food is only ok. Its not bad, its just not good. I guess for the price, you can’t really expect more. But comparatively, I’d rather go to a seafood buffet. The entrees are ok, although, when I tried the teriyaki chicken, my chicken was undercooked… which can be scary. I order a cucumber role, which was closer to hot then cool. Actually, all of the sushi was warm, almost hot. I had hoped for the opposite. The service was less average than the food. My waitress was slow, very inattentive, and pretty much unresponsive. I am not picky when it comes to this sort of thing, but I ate here by myself and it took me 1 ½ hours. I may eat here again, but this is definitely not one of my beach favorites.

We went twice this week; everyone here pretty much gets all you can eat for $ 16.99($ 11.99 at lunch — kids eat for less at both times). This includes any appetizers, sushi, hibachi, and dessert that you want. The menu has a wide variety of choices and we were both more than satisfied with the quality of the sushi we ordered. Our favorite rolls were the rainbow and volcano, but everything we ordered was great. The crab Rangoon appetizer was very good, as was the edamame. I also enjoyed the hibachi — my steak was cooked perfectly and the meat was obviously high quality. Our server was very attentive; as has been mentioned in other reviews, Shannon was particularly enthusiastic and helpful. We will definitely be back as often as we can!

While vacationing, our family was in the mood for sushi and after reading reviews on King’s, we were looking forward to our meal. We were thoroughly disappointed in the quality of the food. I’m not sure why anyone(besides the owners, family & friends of the owners) would give a positive review about the sushi. The rolls are anemic, the fish is low quality, and filled with an abundance of rice and not fish. This is the first time that I’ve written a negative review on Unilocal as a majority of the reviews are spot on but I felt compelled to give candid feedback about the quality of this restaurant’s sushi.

Being a sushi eater weekly, kings sushi was very fresh and the all you can eat was cheap at 16.99 per person. By me in NJ shore all you can eat dinner is 23.00 per person and the same«buy what you can eat» statement. The sashimi was priced very well, .75 cents for each piece. good size smoked salmon sashimi By me again you pay anywere from $ 5.00-$ 7.00 for three pieces of sashimi. My only gripe is they use way too much rice. Very thinly sliced sushi on top of rolls. I had the salmon sushi and the salmon on top was very thin(see picture). I also had an avocado roll again way too much rice and one small slice of avocado in it. I am used to seeing 3 slices of fesh avocado inside an individual roll. The rolls we ordered were avocado, spicy salmon, sashimi roll, ocean roll, some were 10 pieces each. All in all everything was freshly prepared, plated nicely, and the waitress was very attentive to filling up my sweet tea. If I am back in the area again I would go but make sure you go hungry,

Best sushi in myrtle Beach, we have been there a few times and never disappointed great service and food. All you can eat for a low price and quality food. This is not a Buffett it’s better they wait on you and it’s all you can eat just don’t be wasteful.

We had some friends visiting up from Hilton and they found the place. I’ve lived here 23 years and didn’t know about King Sushi. Good value once you figure out the menu. Our waiter, Tom was very helpful. The food was fresh and something for everyone, even if you don’t like sushi. My only complaint would be that the cheesecake for dessert was terrible, but not going to keep us away. We will be back and thanks again Tom for the great service…

This place opened about a month ago and it is amazing. All you can eat for $ 16.99. Have your waiter or waitress explain how it works and then you will be hooked. They didn’t hover over us to get our next order they let us eat and enjoy then came and took our next order. Loved that. Go hungry and you will leave happy!

My husband and I have been here three times since it opened and have been pleased every time. The sushi is good and is on par with other sushi places at the beach. The quality is much better than what we expected from a buffet. The service has always been good, even though the servers seem very busy at times. We would recommend it and will continue to visit!

I went last week with a friend. We almost left because of part of their greeting. They tell you how it works then they say Don’t waste your food. And the server tells you the same thing. Service was OK. She couldn’t wait to clear our plates. I was clearly not finished and she’s grabbing for my plate. The sushi rolls were poorly made. Fish was fresh though. It was 16.99 when I went. We didn’t order any regular plates. You can order as much sushi and appetizers as you want at a time. You can order one main dish at a time. And no to go boxes… Which I can understand if it’s a buffet, but it’s not your standard all you can eat. I’ll probably give it another shot.

We stopped here after the gym(casual enough for gym clothes) as a special request from my daughter. Absolutely delicious! It is approximately $ 17 per person, all you can eat, drinks and gratuity not included. This is pretty much in line with the cost/quality of other local places. The inside was beautiful and had my daughter gushing about the sakura’s painted on the walls. Our server Shannon was the most dynamic personality and she seemed to be having fun doing her job even though she seemed busy. We will request her service again when we return. The food was pretty good with the sushi being the star. We tried lots of verities, dynamite rolls being the favorite of the night. The appetizers were OK. Loved the Edamame to snack on before the sushi arrived. The duck sauce that came with the spring rolls was special and I usually hate duck sauce. Only 2 critiques of the food is that the teriyaki steak was an inexpensive steak. The vegetables that came with it were enjoyable. The cheesecake at the end of the meal was dry. But the ice cream was delish. Focus on the sushi. Very worth it. We will return without a doubt. Soon if I get my way. This is a great addition to the local restaurant choices which are saturated with Italian and greasy fish places. If I were to give a grade it would be an B+. So glad to have a more healthy option, local.
