So much more than an antique store! We recently had our small and intimate wedding ceremony in the BEAUTIFUL garden of the Antique Gardener. This has always been one of my very favorite shops in down town Sutter Creek and it is now also a place that made the happiest day of our life a reality. The owner Aimee is not only a savvy business owner with the eye of a world class designer, but also a wonderful person that made our special day absolutely perfect. There are not enough words to say how beautiful, easy and fun our day was because of the service we received. I could spend an entire day just shopping and enjoying the«feel» created the moment you walk in the door of the Antique Gardner. This is a stop you MUST make when visiting the charming town of Sutter Creek, Ca. Thank you Aimee and your entire team for making our magical day what it was, it was tranquil and stunning because of you!

Stuff stuff stuff. There is something for every garden lover at this shop. Upon entering you are greeted with a few different rooms to enjoy and mingle through. What drew me in was the sale that was going on in the back garden area. If you do anything you must check out their back garden area. They have the loveliest Japanese Maple in a water trough surrounded by ferns. If I could lift 1,000 lbs I would have found a way to get this home. If you are a fern lover this is a place that you must visit. It is very apparent that they are fern experts. My mom always had battles with growing ferns so I appreciate a true fern aficionado. I didn’t get to see any of the staff members here because I was always exploring in a room where they were not present but you can tell that this place is filled with lots of knowledge about gardening, décor and TLC. Make sure to check it out when in Sutter Creek.

LOVED this store. I could have spent the entire day exploring every inch of it. Beautiful assortment of furniture, antiques, gardening goodies and gifts. Good prices that cover a wide range, so you can find something for everyone. Can’t wait to return. An added bonus is the rabbit in the backyard that entertained the kids!

Cute stuff! We could have poked around in there forever. Plenty of shabby chic goodness and crafty ideas. If you’re in Sutter Creek, be sure to stop in and enjoy the ambiance.

Love this store… when they are open. Looked at their website and they are open 11 – 5 on Monday, but drove 45 minutes to Sutter Creek to find a nice closed sign. Ugh. The sign on the door even said they should be open, but I guess they weren’t… And calling ahead won’t help either… did that. Just a nice recorded message saying they hours that they are SUPPOSED to be they. Disappointing

Antique Gardener is a lovely garden shop on Main Street. The store itself is pretty as a postcard, and decorated in rustic French countryside fashion. I love the sound of the wooden floorboards lightly creaking under my feet as I browse the store(of course, you find that a lot in Sutter Creek) A.G. has seeds, pots, vases, tools, décor and antique garden ephemera. I found some awesome seeds here that I haven’t found elsewhere. The patio area in the back yard has live plants for sale. The front of the store has small gifts, home décor, cards and jewelry. It’s a beautiful store and really worth checking out.
