Awful! Do not come here. I decided to upgrade my phone so I came here for information. The woman who helped me, although very nice, told me they were running a promotion where I could get a phone case, phone charger, mini iPad, and iPad case for about $ 60. What she doesn’t say is that the phone I was going to exchange is what is going to pay for all those perks. Oh and the data plan for the mini is another $ 10 for 2 years. Basically they are just fast talkers looking for quick sales and educating you as little as possible about what you’re really paying for. So fast forward my new phone finally arrives in the mail and I take it to the store to become activated. They were quite busy and they just told me to follow the instructions at home and do it myself. So when I went to do just that I got through partial activation and the phone froze. I called Verizon and they transferred me to AppleCare who told me that was a known glitch and was happening to a lot of the new phones. So fast forward, I had to go back there again and the saleswoman told me there is a way around the glitch and the sales person should have done the activation for me. Well too late for that. My phone still doesn’t work, and I’m beyond frustrated with Verizon. I’ve been a ten year customer of theirs and would have expected better. They aren’t the only game in town and it’s shameful that they do this to customers.

SMARTERTHAN A SMARTPHONE After three weeks of research, four trips to the Verizon store and lots of pondering, I finally decided on my phone. I chose,(insert drum roll)… the FREE one. Yes, my smart phone was free,(thanks to the options outlined in my plan)! It does everything that I need it to do and it does everything that my son’s $ 300 phone does,(minus the note feature which I do not like). The only difference is that I have to wait an extra 30 seconds. Darn processor! Now, why did I have such a good experience at the Verizon store? Because I took my time and made an informed and thoughtful decision. On the day that I went to pick up my phone, I called ahead of time to verify that the phone was available and I asked them to hold it in my name. I also made sure that I was there within 15 minutes of opening to avoid a crowd or additional waiting. Overall, the process was very easy and very straight forward. You know that there is always going to be a wait as they transfer your data to the new phone, so plan for it. With the free phone and employee discount on rates, I got a very SWEET deal and I am extremely pleased. Yes, I am still smarter than a smart phone!

Never let Greg help you. Not only does he have trouble with figures, in a way that promises costs and services that make the customer think they’re getting a better deal, he also swindled me out of my unlimited data plan. If I recall correctly, he’s the same rep who misrepresented the costs involved with an international roaming plan. I came home to an $ 800 bill. I’ve been with Verizon for seven years, but if I can’t get satisfaction after this rep’s less than good faith comparison of my current plan to the new one — I just might walk.

Horrible service!!! A girl with medium length red hair«helped» me and was so rude and uninterested in her job that I just asked her for my phone back so I could get out of there! The other people that were working there were all sitting behind the desk fooling around watching this girl be a total brat. GOTOTHEVERIZONBYTHEMALL!!!
