Its hard not to be excited when everything is buy one get two free… Normally stores like this do not carry my size as I am of the husky variety. But when I went there for the sale they actually did carry a few items in my size. Then was the awesome math: Shirt itself: 98.50 half off sale 49.25 Second shirt: same Third shirt: Free So essentially I bought one and got two free which begged the question of how much do they make selling at full price… but that was besides the point. I also picked up some wallets, shoe shine, and a fantastic book called What Would a Gentlemen do(must have coffee table book). All the above for 125. The retail on the shirt alone was 98.50 so it was pretty awesome. Definitely check it out, but wait till they have crazy sales.

I had a terrible experience at Jos A Bank in Nashua, NH(see my Unilocal review for that one), and after speaking to corporate I was directed by the Regional Manager to go to this Jos A Bank in Swampscott, MA. There I met the assistant manager Richard and was treated with the utmost respect and care. Thanks Richard for redeeming Jos A Bank and for making me trust salesmen again. I completely agree with Alicia D. and her review of this location. Go and see Richard he will take care of you.

My stepson is usually a rather dressed up guy, favoring collared shirts and dress casual slacks to t-shirts and jeans. But it was one of those laundry days and my dear stepson had to make a public appearance in sweats. Oh the humanity. Ironically this is the day we have time to go to Jos A. Bank Clothiers in Swampscott. So, we walk in and here I am with my 20 year old companion who frankly looks like a slob. We are here to outfit him for a new job, and a pretty dressed up job at that. Anyway, the staff at Jos A. Bank, led by the impeccable Richard Minskey treated him like royalty. It was something out of «Are You Being Served?» minus the slapstick and British accents. This is an old school experience, where you actually get WAITEDON and they talk with you, getting the right outfit together. In no time they located the perfect shirt, and pants, and had those pants tailored to perfection. There was even a discussion about the best socks – details are important, you know. Anyway, we had a nice bag of loot and a couple of other things on order and now my dear stepson can start his new job with confidence and panache. Now if I could only get my husband in for a makeover at Jos A Bank, we’d be all set!
