Red’s Subs and Pizza

Amazing spot to eat.
1) It is very near Ricketts Glen. I will recommend coming here to refuel.
2) The lava fries are excellent. Must try it.
3) The price is very reasonable.
4) Service is excellent.

I’ve been eating at Red’s since before I can remember and it’s always been great! Their subs are excellent as well as their stromboli, but my personal favorite is the Red’s Healthy Choice pizza :). The owners are absolutely wonderful people and so are all of the staff. I must say though, last night we were there for dinner and «Sam» was our waitress. It’s the first time we’ve had her, and I don’t think I’ve ever had a better waitress! She was the kindest and most attentive waitress we’ve ever had, anywhere, hands down.

Pretty good pizza and my family loves their BBQ wings! We love getting takeout on Fridays there. Just bear in mind they’re closed on Mondays. Overall, pretty friendly atmosphere.

Red’s pizza is not as good as New York Pizza but it is pretty good, especially for NEPA. You also cannot beat the prices there.

Come here every weekend

It’s a pizza place like other pizza places. Good quality, good prices. The pizza is a little greasy, but it’s not as though there are pizza joints on every other block in the Back Mountain.

I grew up near Red’s Subs, I still remember when it moved to its new location (even though its probably been here for about 10 years now). I guess most importantly, the pizza and the subs are excellent. Their regular pizza is incredible and I am partial to their chicken wing pizza. The chicken wing pizza and the chicken wings themselves are some of the best I’ve ever had! The sauce is amazing. Its kind of like a little bit of a sweeter take on a traditional wing sauce and it really works for me. Everything else is good as well. Their specials, soups, pastas, hoagies… I’ve never had a bad meal here and trust me I’ve had more than my fair share! Its a nice little place, very much a family oriented restaurant. The service is always pleasant too!
I always stop here for some Wings when I visit home and my family hates me for it because I am usually home for a holiday which means a home cooked and slaved over meal… and I show up with Wings from Red’s! Sorry Grandma, can’t help it! Just stop in and get some wings and a chicken wing pizza, you won’t regret it!
