Just moved in to the area and I am so glad to find this salon. Very welcoming, organized and relaxing atmosphere. And the most important part was wonderful result. My stylist was Ron. I had other plan after the appointment so I need to be on time. And he finished my partial highlight beautifully. Thank you very much. I will be back this salon again.

Just moved to the area and needed a new salon so I made an appointment here. My highlights turned out great! The prices were VERY reasonable in comparison plus there is not tipping allowed (strange I know). The staff was super friendly and they took the time to do a great job. This will definitely be my new favorite salon :)

Beware the high reviews. I got one of the worst haircuts I’ve ever received here and I cannot recommend it. I have thick hair that I’ve kept in a longish bob for the past couple years. I had a stylist I loved but have since moved and was on the lookout for someone new. Came here based on the high reviews, and don’t want others to make the same mistake.
I showed him a picture of my hair previously and was clear with what I asked, and yet I basically ended up with a glorified bowl cut. He cut my hair in essentially a straight line across my head (no angling like I’d asked), and didn’t thin out the sides or back at all (even after I asked). At that point I just let it go because once you know you’ve got a bad cut, you might as well not ask the bad stylist to continue.
And one final tip to the owner: don’t tell an anti-​Semitic joke to a first time client. This might be Carroll County, but you should still know your audience better than that first.

My hair looks beautiful, Ron was a complete professional and I will look no more for a place to go for salon services. I was not sure what to expect.
I was coming from a large spa atmosphere with multiple chairs and too many services to list. The previous salon /​day spa is well know and highly sought. The experience I had today at a second glance simply blew them away. This small town salon is a gem.

Great salon. I’ve been looking for a new stylist since moving here from Nashville-it’s been a rough road.
To that end, I checked out the reviews on Unilocal yesterday and decided to give this place a try. (I was having a really bad hair moment. You know those times when you start eying the scissors on your desk) They were able to work me in and they did a great job!
I have a lot of hair– long, thick and curly but he never batted an eye. I really recommend that you give this place a try. Great cut for a fantastic value.

I was a walk-​in and was helped right away. Erica is fantastic, she did exactly what I asked her to do with my hair. I hate going to places and they don’t do that.
I absolutely love the shampoo and conditioner they use. They smell just like orange creamsicles! Erica even gave me a free sample of each to take home so I could try them out longer to see if I like them.
Everybody was very friendly and they offer lots of different services — nails, waxing, massages, facials.
The interior is open and welcoming. I noticed a small homeopathic area too, which is pretty cool.
Despite the fact that I live in Catonsville, I definitely will continue to come here for my salon needs.

Thinning thinning and more thinning with razors and thinning scissors left me with scraggly ends. I didn’t see it until I went to A Second Glance and got a great hair cut. It looks so healthy! I’ll be back. It’s a no tip salon, but they did such a great job I wanted to give them some credit. So there. Thanks Erica!
