Shakey’s Pizza Parlor

Wow. The food here was so great. The potatoes were on point. The chicken was delicious. The pizza was great. The portion sizes are phenomenal and all the staff was okay and the environment felt very family friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to have a great family dinner time especially with a large party.

Wow! Where do I begin. Let’s starts by it’s NOT SAFE!!! Am from the area I’ve never seen it this bad. Not only the cashier was beyond rude. We waited over 1 HR to get our food. Let me tell you it wasn’t crazy pack. So along we went and got our food. We went outside and a lady was screaming hysterically that her car was broken into. My car was right next to hers. And thank god they didn’t do anything to my car. But couple workers Come out. And say oh that always happens. That they always have cars broken into !!! Never coming here again!

Blah!!! Too salty and expensive, rather go to hometown buffet, and their beer is to watered down…

Terrible, terrible service! I came in with my family about 8:30 pm. We ordered our food and at 9 pm they turned off the TV. We asked if they could turn it back on and the manager basically said it was closed so we had to go! I had never felt so rushed to eat my food. The bus boy, was practically already picking up our plates when we are still eating! The manager was very unprofessional, didn’t help at all instead was rude and walked away when my husband was complaining to him. My son also put in a quarter on one of their machines for a toy and it didnt give anything. When my son complained, the staff responded well looks like you lost 25 cents! What a way to talk to a child! Then I ask for the managers supervisor information and they said they couldn’t give me that information! This place is nothing like it used to be! If I could give it less than a 1 star I would!

RATCHET… no atm or tokens. Small play area and horrible customer service. Restrooms look like they’re from a county hospital. No running water in men’s restroom.

Nothing is more frustrating for a parent with a baby than to walk into a bathroom with NO CHANGING TABLE!!!

Been dining here since I was a kid, Taylor is awesome!!! Makes every visit a great one! She always makes sure customers are taken care of, she does a great job! Oh and Francisco’s chicken cooking skills !!! Oh boy! Let me tell you! His skills would make chef Gordon Ramsey himself stop yelling after witnessing such majestic skills! The kool aid man would respectfully walk in the door just to watch Francisco and yell «OH YEAH!!». Hands down he makes the chicken perfectly!

Never again. Our phone orders are never ready! End up waiting 30 min more. Last couple of pizzas were severely burnt. Didn’t find out till we got home. Establishment needs a severe CLEANING. Filthy

Never going to this place again. I haven’t been here in over 10 years, and now I know why. Horrible customer service! I showed up before 9 o’clock, sign says they close at 945, and the guy had the nerves to lie to my face and say «just to let you guys know, we’re only taking take out orders. Because we close in twenty minutes»

I had not been to Shakey’s in 10 years and this place was the bomb diggety! We ordered way too much but it was yummy!

It’s a Pizza Buffet with a limited selection of Pizzas. They have fried chicken but are hesitant serve it to the customers. I went to get some chicken only see that they had 4 pieces left, while a big ass tray filled to the rim with chicken goodness sat on a counter in the kitchen. You can try pasta if you managed to actually see some spaghetti in the food bin. Macaroni + Cheese lacked cheese.
For a buffet, they are pretty cheap with their food. everything was low or all gone. What’s the idea behind having a buffet if you’re not willing to serve the food.
It’s definitely not worth the $ 7.50 that they charge.

I just recieved an INCREDIBLY RUDE email from some woman named Stacy who is somehow related to the ownership of this location. She states my group ignored the manager’s requests of the situation, yet clearly she did not read my review or complaint because my group was not associated with any party and not directed to vacate like the other!
My family arrived around 5:00 PM on Saturday, March 7, 2015.
Considering it was a Saturday night, we were not surprised by the packed house; that was not our concern or issue.
We ordered a 16 piece chicken meal, mojo potatoes, 1 medium pizza, one salad, and three drinks. The total came to roughly $ 62.
As the restaurant was so busy, we ventured around to find a separate room which had a party taking place in one portion of the room using long tables, and other diners separate from the party dining in that room using individual tables.
It took almost 45 minutes for our food to arrive it was almost 6:00 by the time our food arrived. Then as 6:00 came closer, the manager entered the room multiple times within a 5 – 10 minute span, while extremely rude saying «it is 6:00pm, you have to leave, you have to go now, there is another party coming, the next part already paid their deposit, you have to leave». We had literally just started eating as he wanted to kick our family out, while other other parties were also in the middle of eating or sitting down. The party taking place on the other hand, had no assistance from employees and had to clean up the tables themselves, until finally being fed up and leaving.
If the manager had been nicer, friendlier, and more ethical in his process of trying to adjust for the next party, he would have 1– made the next party stagger in times from the last (i.e. instead of parties planned 3 – 6 then 6 – 9, it would have been smart and easier for 3 – 6 and then at 6:15 or 6:30 for clean and prep)
We were extremely irritated and disappointed by this, and since he was kicking us out, we demanded a refund. He had the nerve to ask us how much we ate to adjust the refund amount, only giving us $ 30 in return of the $ 62 total, and he refused to return the receipt and ignored our concerns.

I take it back. It is only extremely slow on the weekends. During the week you have your food within 20 minutes. When I went on the weekend it was closer to an hour.

Food was good, service was funny. Get there early, it fills up quickly. Stay away from the spaghetti.

Horrible! horrible! horrible!
Hands down most dirtiest shakeys I’ve ever been to! The buffet was horrible food was cold and not tasteful at all. All the workers had no gloves on handling the food. Immediately after handling money the cashier with no gloves puts her hands in the crust of the pizzas. The salad bar looked disgusting with no attendant to monitor or keep clean.
I will never come here again!

Came for the buffet & it’s super busy. Not the cleanest place & the food didn’t look appetizing but what do you expect. Pizza tasted like they’ve been out for hours & weren’t even hot in fact most of the food were a bit cold. Employees weren’t friendly & extremely rude. I’ll go else where next time.

Couldn’t figure out what to eat for lunch with my friend so we agreed on trying out Shakey’s. Pretty busy, a good amount of people were there. There were pizzas under hot lights; some looked pretty good, others looked like they were sitting under those lights for way too long. You can see the kitchen where they’re cooking; you could feel the extreme heat coming from that back area and smell the tons of grease just dripping from each item of food. The kitchen just didn’t look that clean.
We ended up deciding on an order of the garlic bread w/​cheese on top & we both got a chicken alfredo calzone. When it finally came out we both went for the garlic bread & not long after eating one piece my stomach felt pretty uneasy. I thought it was nothing & moved onto my calzone. I didn’t eat much of it because I hadn’t realized there were mushrooms & olives which I’m not the biggest fan of. I actually ended up not eating any of it (I had like a bite), not because of the things I didn’t like, but because that garlic bread had my stomach churning by that time.
We both left not feeling well & when I got home I felt sick to my stomach & a little bit like puking. I’m feeling a bit better now but that’s definitely the first and last time I’ll be going to Shakey’s.
