Went with a party of six. Every dish including the appetizers were delicious. The chicken breasts were amazingly moist and tender and the veal was perfectly cooked. The service was a bit slow but the waiter was very accommodating and it was worth the wait for a casual night out with friends. A bit noisy but again, the food was cooked to order and well worth it.

I’m here for a baby shower. The food is fantastic, the service is excellent. I would recommend Bella Note without hesitation. My glass was never empty & the nepolian dessert is homemade & not to be missed.

Valentines Day 2016…6 degrees outside and they discontinued Valet Parking at some point. Parking was difficult with snow and ice so we circled till we found a spot on railroad avenue. Anyway, we were glad to visit Bella Notte after a prolonged absence to enjoy the fine service and food we remembered. As we entered Bonnie G. and I both felt a weird vibe from the owner who welcomed us and took us to our table. We just didnt feel comfortable! like the place had no karma or warmth… just our feeling. Our waiter Orlando was very nice and took care of our every need. We ordered cocktails; a Grey Goose up with a twist and BG ordered a Tequila Kama Kaze… a fresh made Margherita. Drinks were great and produced the intended results… a buzz For Appys we got Baked Clams and Fried Calamari with side of Arrabiata Sauce. Well, the clams were more like baby Cockles… the smallest we have ever seen! and for $ 10.95! They should have said they had none rather than serve these miniscule things. The fried Calamari was good but the sauce was marvelous and made the dish! Orlando kept the food coming a relaxed pace… We ordered Veal Marsala with side of pasta with Arrabiata sauce… small but very tasty. The Veal was tender and the Marsala sauce delicious. I ordered Chicken Bella Notte for one. A really nice plate with peppers, onions and sausage with the half chicken. I found the white meat parts to be dry and they brought me a sauce to put on top to moisten it. The dark meat parts were perfect. I ordered a half order of Cappellini with White Clam Sauce to go with my main as it does not come with a pasta… it was really nicely done with clams and garlic… the clams they used were larger than the Baked Clams they served us??? At the conclusion of dinner we ordered Cappacino and coffee and they brought the complimentary Biscotti… I remember in the past getting warm biscotti right out of the oven but alas not to be today… Also in closing, I remember in past years on Valentines Day they gave each lady a Rose… today not. Our overall experience this night was good but not as pleasant as past visits. I have taken back one star for a new 4 star rating. This evening was not as good as we remember past visits and BN has been moved down on our list of favorite Italian restaurants.

Worst service I’ve ever seen in my life!!! I’ve worked at a family style Italian restaurant for 10 years. I went for a wedding rehearsal dinner for 30 people. Menu made reserved for a month and guess what? We get there and nothing is set up no menu was made and the reservation was gone. They hurry and try to set up but wasn’t enough seats so they needed to make separate tables and separate families how embarrassing. On top of that they didn’t even offer to accommodate for anything like really? Bread didn’t come out for a half an hour no bartender and made us pay for all our drinks separately. Never ever ever again will I ever go to this place. Didn’t give enough appetizers chicken parm horrible, how do you mess up chicken parm. Beware of this place if you want good food go to la parma or buteras in my experience idk how this place stays in business awful service food was awful just awful experience I was shocked I still and shocked

Love this place. The owner is always on site and treats all of the guests like friends/family. Aside from the service always being spot on, the food is FANTASTIC…(and inexpensive!!!)! I lived in Italy and grew up in an Italian home… this is as close to mom’s/grandma’s/home, as you can get! Go for the baked clams, stuffed artichokes, penne Bolognese, chicken scarpariello and veal chop! And the best part of the meal… the complimentary biscotti!(BEST I’ve ever eaten!)

Small place, definitely need a reservation. Chicken Sorrentino was very good, but rigatone salmon could have been better. The place should be family style, but instead they charge a $ 10 sharing fee. That was a little ridiculous. Nice and friendly staff.

This restaurant has delicious food but does not handle a busy rush well. My dinner experience was far longer than it should have been, about 2 hours! The manager just stood behind the bar and watched this go on, instead of speaking to the various complaining tables. If you want to have a very lengthy Italian meal, this is the place for you.

Ended up here, at the bar, waiting for a train back to the city after a wedding in the area. The red sauce and old-school vibe tempted us into a to-go order and man, oh man, what a delightful surprise. Excellent, delicious pasta, and a congenial staff to boot. I am seriously considering going back to Syosset just to return to this place for a sit-down meal(and I don’t even know where Syosset is on a map).

After having been to a half dozen restaurants in the area between 3:30 and 4:30pm on a Saturday without any success in securing a table, the mad Russian and I wound up in the parking lot of Bella Notte. At first we were told that they would not be opening until 5pm, but the food gods must have been with us as we were invited inside to sit and eat. Or maybe it’s because I’m Italian… either way the food pangs got happy thoughts knowing that they soon would be satisfied. The air conditioning was turned on, the table set, bread delivered and the drinks administered– things were looking up. Craving something not on the menu– frute di mare– the mad Russian flashed the baby blues and got just what was itching her and I got some stuffed mushrooms and veal marsala. The bread came out hot from the oven and with a glass of red table wine, I was in heaven. We ate for over an hour and a half and enjoyed the meal and the service equally. To finish, I had a double espresso with some complimentary home– made biscotti that was so fresh and delicious. Tip: bring cash! They offer a discount for paying cash and look for their cards on a future visit for wine offers. Overall, a great meal very reasonably priced.

Horrible! and the wait was ridiculous… took us 2 hours to get our food. If you;re not Italian don’t even think of going. We were the only minority family at the place and got treated like crap. The looks we got and the way we were treated was ridiculous. Food was cold and totally unappetizing and not to mention overpriced. Not worth it!!! BEWARE!!!

Every restaurant that opens in this location closes after 6 months so congrats to Bella Notte for making it 2 years! When I found out that this place isn’t going anywhere for a while and the reviews are almost all positive I decided to check it out. Prices on the menu were reasonable(chicken dishes under $ 20, pasta $ 15 – 17) and the specials were a little bit more expensive($ 25 – 35) but the quantity and quality of the food totally justify the price. After the waiter comes to your table and reads the specials he lets you know that you can mix and match any of the ingredients used in the specials and create any dish you want. Same goes for the regular menu, anything you want to try they are more than happy to make for you. I ended up getting the Chicken Sorrentino which was chicken on top of eggplant topped with prosciutto and fresh mozzarella. It was light and delicious. My friends ordered the shrimp francese and lobster the cavallini special and enjoyed them both. I love little places like this. Great service, great food, customer is always #1. I will def be coming back here again.

Second time eating at this restaurant. Again the food was outstanding as was the service. I only have one negative comment, and that is that it is a little pricey. I ordered snapper that came with vegetables…$ 35! And my glass of wine, Blackstone Merlot, which I can buy in the Costco liquor store for $ 6.99 a bottle on sale, was $ 12 for the glass. Otherwise, everything was great. Would definitely eat there again, but will keep a better eye on the prices next time.
