Delicious pizza and garlic knots with the marinara sauce! The cashier was a young snotty bitch who obnoxiously chews her gum don’t know how she got the job with the rest of the friendly staff

I’ve been coming to this pizzeria since 2007. And it’s always been consistently good! I love their buffalo chicken and BBQ chicken pizzas. My friend and I used to always order from here whenever we were in the area. The staff is super friendly and for a pizzeria it feels more loungy than just a quick $ 1 pizza type of place. Everytime I’ve eaten here the pizza has tasted fresh and hot out the oven. Never have been let down by here! Also their slices are quite large so 2 slices filled me up pretty well and normally if I’m really hungry I could eat 3 or 4 slices. Will be back once I start craving pizza again ha! Thanks Mario’s!

«Pitiful Service with a Capital „S“!!!» Although the food is at times good at this particular Mario’s Pizza location(I’ve been coming here for more years then I care to remember), in the past few years, the counter service has gone into the crapper! I’m holding back! I don’t know who’s driving the bus these days, but they should have their license revoked! I’m fuming because tonight was the«straw that broke the camel’s back»! Over the past 4 or 5 months I’ve ordered ahead by phone and online. Each time when arriving for my on time pick-up, my order was delayed anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes. The excuses have been creative as were the apologizes. Still, 5 or 10 minutes is perhaps acceptable, but the delays I’ve experienced were borderline rude! Regardless of how busy they are, if you commit to a pick-up or delivery time, stick to it! If I’m late delivering my products to customers, I get charged back a penalty fee or they simply cancel the order. This all said, the last three times I placed my orders ahead online it was with ample time to get the order made. Tonight was no different. Tonight however, I placed my order for a 7:15PM pick-up and showed up at 7:30PM. Again, despite my purposeful delay, my order wasn’t ready until 7:40PM, 25 minutes late. I’m sorry for snapping at the woman behind the counter taking my CC, it wasn’t her fault, but who’s driving the bus! I do like Mario’s Pizza and I really hope someone there reads this and they can get their SH_T together. Then again, they’re so successful, maybe my issue makes no difference to them. PS… The small Mozzarella Salad that they rushed to throw together for my order had two forks worth of lettuce in it. My bad for being annoyed at them!

The food is good, do not get me wrong. However, the menu isn’t the same as other ones. Personally, Oyster Bay’s is the best, the most to pick from, the best food. I think they need to start offering more items like Oyster Bay’s Marios. I also believe that people that answer the phone at the Syosset location need to know how to say the name of the place they are working at.

Not as good as I used to remember it, it’s usually a hit or miss, I loved their chicken rolls though. It’s not my first choice but I go in from time to time.

Great garlic knots, average sauce, and very average overpriced pizza. We got a regular pizza and it was greasy, overloaded(which was surprisingly a bad thing, felt like it just stuck in your stomach) and undercooked. We enjoyed the garlic knots but will never go back for pizza

Love going here. Both eating in and taking out. Helpful staff everything we try is yummy. Grandmas pie, regular pie meatballs, Sicilian yum. Garlic knots are great. Eat in has plenty of tables and space, fast good food and great service.

Basically, there are two major pizza joints in Syosset, Mario’s and Cousins, and they’re both extremely good, at least in my opinion. But only Mario’s has the location and atmosphere that makes it the community center that it is. If you live in this town, you’ve been here, and you’ve probably been here with friends. It’s not just a lunch spot, it’s a place to gather up, throw a party, and make plans.

Good pizza. But don’t order the eggplant rollatine unless you like a soup of ricotta. And their calzones have no ricotta at all… Bizarre

4.5÷5, rounded up. This is my go-to place. This isn’t my favorite *slice* of pizza in Syosset — Woodbury, which has a ton of pizza places, but the base pizza is good. I especially like the crust. I’m not impressed by the various pasta and hot entrees either. Where Mario’s takes the cake is variety– if you like more than just pepperoni then I highly suggest Mario’s creative toppings always available quickly by the slice. Mario’s also has my all-time favorite garlic knots. Ever. And I’ve had a lot of garlic knots. The servers and cashiers are all friendly. The place is super clean and everything is always fresh because this place does a lot of business.

Mario’s is an excellent«toppings» pizza place. If you want a slice with all the makings of a taco or a stuffed slice with an entire chicken parm inside, Mario’s is your spot. Their regular slices are pretty good, not anything to write home about, but their topping slices are where they excel. They often give away free garlic knots to eat in customers. They have a private room for parties in the lower level. Been going there for years, I’m a fan.

Ordered the shrimp parm meal and an eggplant roll online. I was given the option online to substitute bread with my meal for garlic knots which I did. But the garlic knots were burnt and not very good. The shrimp parm and eggplant roll was! And the shrimp portions were very large. Delivery came within a half hour of placing my order, and they do charge a 2 dollar delivery fee. Would definitely order from here again, I just don’t understand how they would delivery some one burnt food. Especially garlic knots which cost almost nothing to them. And that is why I gave them 3 stars instead of 4.

This place is amazing for hanging out. I came here twice with my friend chris. We sat at the booth. I like when you order and you can sit and they bring you the food. Great service.

Ok I am an honest critic. Last time I gave this place not such a good rating because of the service and food presentation. Last night I went in with my BFF and we had a lovely lady(adult) at the counter who gave excellent service and my order was taken, my food was delivered to the table hot and(salad-cold) and our drinks were also given by a young gentleman. This business placed a mature individual at the counter and the service and customer satisfaction changed. Now a must try!

Was in the area, visiting my mom who is doing rehab at a nearby nursing home. Got a few slices to bring to her for lunch. It seemed like a family run place, which I very much appreciated. And the employees seemed to know their customers well. The pizza was crisp and tasty. I will return to try the regular menu items next time.

Just ok. It’s sort of become a pizza factory where you can make special requests but they don’t really hear you. Don’t love the red sauce, and that accounts for about 80% of the menu. My husband judges Italian restaurants on their meatballs and he says they have no flavor. I used to order riceballs all the time — but they seem to have gone downhill. With so may pizza places in the area(I can count 7 without trying real hard) Marios does NOT stand out.
