Jimmy John’s is a Midwestern sandwich institution and I was glad to find one in Syracuse. Had not eaten at one in around 15 years when I was in college. Same menu same great French bread. Well worth it.

I’ve ordered from here many times from work in the past for the convenience and would never rave about the place but found it satisfactory based on the short amount of time it took to get a sandwich delivered. I ordered my usual online at 1:57 the other day (according to my time stamped email) and called at 2:24 wondering where my lunch was. The man who answered the phone did not ask my name or order but was insistent that is only ordered 15 minutes ago and that my sandwich wasn’t even on the road yet. 2 minutes after hanging up I get a call that they are here and had gotten into a car accident and totally apologetic about the wait. Awesome driver. Guy in the phone obviously lied. Also I ordered a veggie sub and a pickle and with tip came out to $ 12. The most expensive part of my sandwich was the avocado which I had zero of. Not too little avocado but absolutely none. Done dealing with bozo over the phone I wrote an email to corporate and never received any sort of response. Just go to subway. Half the price and none of the hassle.
