I recently moved to Syracuse from Brooklyn and was hesitant to trust a new hairstylist with my ultra curly hair. Michelle did a fantastic job. She gave me a dry cut and made it clear from the get go that she wasn’t going to take off too much length or add in layers if I didn’t want that. The cut looks great — just what I wanted. I’ll be coming back here regularly!

I have been going to Matthews for at least 2 years now. I really like their stylists and the environment is very welcoming and clean. It’s a great place all around and their services are affordable enough that you can go here regularly.
I’m a big fan of Kirsten, who has been my go-​to stylist when I visit this salon. She does such a beautiful job with cuts – they grow out so nicely that it makes it easy to maintain the look for a long time. When she did my highlights, I got so many compliments because she knows how to color well and will help you pick a flattering color and will give you great advice for how much to color at once.
They have a great and very friendly team, and I highly recommend this place!
