No exaggeration. l — 30 minutes in the drive thru with only 3 cars ahead of me. There’s just no reason «fast food» should be this slow. I think they were understaffed. Won’t be back.

This place is slower then McDonalds and costs more then Burger King. That part sucks but the good part is that the food is better then both. If you are hungry and you want a burger this is a great place to go. The buns have substance to them they put a good amount of Pickens lettuce and onions on the burgers and the patties are fairly big. Is review I have the Niger in my hand half eaten and I’m feeling full. It’s 8:15 pm I did not eat lunch or anything snacks just breakfast. I was starving now I’m full and I could not finish the whole burger. If you are vary hungry this is a good place to go. Just understand this fast food chain is not the same as Burger King and McDonalds. It takes time to put these burgers together the patties are thick they don’t cook in less then a minute. Not sure what happened, here. This place used to be decent. I went through the drive thru this time. It took almost 15 minutes with only one car ahead of me. I got my credit card back with grease on it. How does that happen? The person who handles cash and cards should not be handling food and vice versa. Then I get handed a drink cup with soda splashed all over the side, and the window slammed shut as i was trying to ask for a napkin. I don’t know what those people allow in their cars, but I sure as heck don’t want to clean out a sticky cup holder. Then I get my food bag with no napkins in it. My burger had a couple pieces of the heel of iceberg lettuce. It had one tomato slice that looked like it had been stepped on. The kicker: Twelve dollars for a small combo. TWELVE DOLLARS. I could go to Red Robin for that. Instead, Carl’s Jr. gets you a lackadaisical effort and mediocre food.

I hardly ever go to this Carl’s Jr, because they are super ultra mega slow in the drive thru and what makes it worst is that you can’t escape from the drive thru if you enter it. So, if you change your mind after waiting forever, you can’t turn around, you can’t back up.
I came here with my friend on New Year’s Day, which may have been a bad time as many places are short staffed. We only came for fries and as soon as we ordered and started to pull forward, I remembered there is a Sonic right down the road (which I would have rather had). Twenty-​five mnutes later we exited the drive thru and by then I wasn’t even hungry. The fries weren’t hot and were a little flaccid actually.
I do like the general variety of items on the menu although many of them a loaded and I mean loaded with some sort of meat, cheese, or spicyness. The portions are just grossly big and dripping with oils from either the meat, cheese and maybe even the spicyness. Just smelling the oils and grease makes me feel fat.
Next time I’ll remember to just keep on truckin’ down the road, if I’m just trying to get a quick snack.
