Incredibly accommodating and friendly service. One of the owners, Jen, makes her own cranberry sauce from scratch. The turkey and cranberry was an incredible option. A must try for downtown Tacoma!

Nicest young couple own this shop and work hard at their quality of service and food. Sammys are yummy, soups too. Still have more things to try, I know I won’t be disappointed!

Stopped by Dileretos for the first time the other day. Was very impressed with the menu, as I expected to find mostly coffee drinks. I ordered a latte, which was spot on. Then ordered a toasted Italian sub, which was delicious! The atmosphere was comfy and the owners are very warm and friendly and conscientious of taking care of their customers. I plan on going back soon to try another menu item! And, to get another yummy latte!

I dropped in for an americanon but couldn’t ignore their awesome lunch menu. I had the chili dog… it was the best chili dog ever. I liked that it was served in a bowl, as this was great presentation and helpful in avoiding a messy eating situation. The americano was perfect and the staff were definitely people persons. Very friendly.

Apparently their food is supposed to be great, however I came for a basic coffee and it tasted like doo-doo. I ordered a 16oz iced white chocolate Americano with no cream and two extra shots because the store clerk said it’s easier for them to do 2 shots at a time verses one extra for a triple 16oz. Ok, but I didn’t put a bit of milk in and it tasted watery and still warm. They use Valhalla or Vahalla coffee and I just wasn’t impressed. I needed more ice sine it was like brown tinted, mildly coffee tasting water. She demonstrated how she used a shaker to make the ice go around the coffee. The only perk of this place so far is the awesome pinball machine. Very friendly staff, but next time I’ll walk down to Tully’s for the coffee. Apparently the general consensus of the neighboring businesses is the coffee is not very good.

The food is always made fresh and always so delicious! I love walking in the door and smelling all the fresh baked goods. They have probably the best chicken Caesar salad I’ve ever had!

I have enjoyed eating at this local business several times and have enjoyed watching them grow. The sandwiches are super fresh and built with a passion any foodie will appreciate, usually by the owner himself. The care for the customers is always top notch. I look forward to my next visit to this great Tacoma deli in the theatre district and sharing this well run operation with family and friends.

Everything I have had from here ranging from the sandwiches, salads and coffee have all been delicious. The staff is very polite and welcoming and the serving sizes are just right. You really get your money’s worth here and the prices are very modest. I would highly recommend dropping by when you’re in the area. They won’t disappoint!

Best Sandwiches in Tacoma, hands down! I have had many of the items on this menu and I am never disappointed. My 2 faves are the Vegetarian on Marbled Rye(the bread is so fresh and soft!) and the Italian Po-Boy. I often get a baked treat and a shot of espresso, straight up. I am a total coffee snob and this is the ONLY place in Tacoma where I order just a straight up double shot espresso. My husband eats here often. So much that he usually can’t decide what to order as he likes it all. Seriously, now he just says to the owner«Hey Chris, tell me what I want to eat today» and his lunch is always delicious. The baked goods are yummy, especially the red velvet cupcakes and the maui pineapple bar. It’s located in a huge building with tons of Antiques(Sandford and Son). Easy to see from Commerce. But you can also get there from Broadway Antique Row by walking down the stairs inside Sandford and Son. So, overall lunch and browsing the funky stores makes for a lovely afternoon. This is a family run joint and all of them are really friendly. Love this place!

The big, yellow front door is a great indication of the dining experience at DiLoreto’s café. Despite the rainy fall Saturday, we received a warm welcome from the couple that run DiLoreto’s. The food was comforting, unpretentious, and most importantly, delicious. We had a half French dip, the tuna salad on toasted honey wheat, and the house-made chili. The décor was inviting, and the prices were right. I would definitely recommend this great little lunch spot.

Tried this place today, and it was a nice little shop. The staff was friendly, and quick with preparing the food. The sandwich was fresh, and good. I had the Italian poor boy, and I thought it was good, and at an decent price. Parking can be a pain. I’d for sure go back…

Great food. Great coffee. I go there constantly. The owner is very nice and doesn’t mind when you add or subtract an ingredient to an order. Great place to stop and have lunch if you want a good portion and a great price.
