Got the Italian sausage pizza. The wood fired crust was very good. Was not bursting with flavor. It was missing something. Pizza wasn’t very large. Needles so say there will be no left overs. Service was fast and good.

I have been a few times now, and each time the food is just wonderful The pizza crust is chewy and the toppings of great quality. The mushroom truffle and elemental pizzas are my favorite. Who knew kale could be so amazing on a pizza. I appreciate their lunch/salad lunch combo and their patio seating. Today I ordered the rocket salad with added chicken. It was a perfect lunch portion and so delicious. I’m so happy that Elemental is on campus — we’re spoiled by such great food.

The pizzas were pretty good and so was the service. The pizzas are small thin crust so you end up ordering one per person. Fun and clean atmosphere.

Ambience and décor were casual and relaxed. Food had good flavor and portions were good or more than expected. Caesar had fresh romaine and an anchovy-forward dressing. Truffled Mushroom pizza was delicious and golden brown. Cocktails were tasty and strong. They had the elusive«Lucille» on draft from Georgetown Brewing! We’ll be back!

This place is amazing. Amazing service. The waiter was happy and energetic and he hustled. The food was surprisingly delicious. I expected pretty good pizza but it was BOMB! And so was the salad! To die for! And the wine was delicious and impressive too! Go here! You’ll be glad you did!

One of the best Manhattan’s around made with the Woodinville rye. Excellent at the end of a long day.

awesome spot, great food, unlike other reviews I liked the staff. some recommendations — apps meatballs, stromboli, or cup of bean soup(not a bowl too big). I would stay traditional with a meat pizza, bbq pork and Margarita were ok but prefer the pepperoni. I don’t drink Kambucha but had to get the coconut one after a sample. Enjoy! 15% military discount.

Should I stay, or should I go? This is the question I find myself asking over and over again as I sit in Elemental Pizza. There is a basic conflict about this place. The food and drinks are excellent, the service is good, yet there is some indescribable quality — is it disdain, or are they really just that busy? There’s something weird about the patio here. It is like the staff does not want you to sit out there, even though it’s a beautiful sunny location near a recreational trail. They also want everybody to sit at tables with chairs instead of the super comfy booths they have. When I go into a place and immediately have to start advocating for myself it doesn’t make me feel very welcome. That was the bad news first part of this review. This place has AMAZING4 star food. Their white bean soup is absolutely fantastic. I think the margarita pizza is a contender in the hard to beat category. Salad greens are fresh and crisp, and the cured meats are divine. It is the kind of food that makes you want to linger, share, enjoy, have some drinks, and just be with. I plan on going back to eat the food. And hopefully not feel like an unwanted guest.

I frequent here particularly because of its proximity to my work and its atmosphere. Elemental is fun for groups. Their lunch special is great: $ 12 for a personal pizza and salad! Salads(all of them) are really good! And I’m not a salad fan, typically. Portions are great. Will leave you feeling filled. 3 stars for inconsistent pizzas. Sometimes it’s perfect. Other times its so charred that it gets hard to chew and leaves black dust all over your hands and mouth while you’re eating. Not cool. Sometime you’ll get the crust building up at the parameter so much so that it leaves you with a mug sized circle of actual pizza ingredients. a t m o s p h e r e This place would be a terrific apartment. There is seating upstairs, downstairs and a small patio outside on the west side of the building.

The food was very good, but the service was awful. After being seated, we were ignored for 20 minutes. Finally the host/manager saw us sitting there, she put her bus tub down and took our order. Food came but we were still being ignored. I had to get up and find my own silverware. We finished and waited forever to get a box. We won’t be back. It’s too bad because the food was tasty.

As far a wood-fired pizza goes, it was pretty good. Unfortunately, we got stuck with a dud waitress who dropped silverware on me and coughed all over us when she was taking our dessert order. Listening was not quite in her skill set, but we got throught it. It was my first time eating at Elemental Pizza. I willing to grant them a mulligan because the food was good.

A friend of mine and Steven’s suggested to us to give this place a try! Our friend is from the New Orleans area and as the reputation goes the New Orleans area has foodies left and right. So our foodie friend is someone we have come to trust in his recommendations so whenever he mentions a place for us to go eat at then we are all over it! Elemental Pizza has a great atmosphere and their claim to fame is wood fired pizza and there is plenty of evidence to support that instead of just having the adjective but not actually adhering to the adjective. They have a great selection of pizza here, so much it was a bit overwhelming but Steve and I settled on their Happy Hour menu which also contained pizza. I got the Margherita Pizza off of that menu and Steve got a Pepperoni Pizza. Both pizzas tasted awesome! We didn’t eat all of our pizza slices even though it was a manageable size. In other words Elemental Pizza makes great leftovers! I wanted something different on the drink menu and got a great Italian Lager which went paired with my pizza wonderfully! Great pizza place!

I may be in the minority here, but I was pretty let down by the food. To be fair, the service was great, and on a Friday evening for that matter. We ordered the Morts pie, which sounded good. They were out of jalapeño; no big deal. The pizza had no base sauce of any sort, just toppings on dry bread. There were 5 or 6 quarter-sized blobs of the cheese, and no other cheese to be seen. I don’t know if this is some new foodie trend or something, but I was pretty bummed. Marinara tasted like artificial Walmart canned tomato sauce aged in play-dough containers. The ranch was tartar sauce, which I actually like… But it’s not ranch. Price and service are good, pizza sucks… Unless you’re into bready hippie pies covered in greens. Those looked pretty solid.

A great new pizza place in the museum district of downtown Tacoma. Stopped in for a late lunch and split the Margareta pizza and a cauliflower appetizer. The décor is modern industrial but with some warmth, very nice. There appears to be some outdoor space on a deck so once the weather gets a bit warmer that’ll be fabulous. Liked that there was an upstairs and a downstairs, gave it a nice loft feeling. The cauliflower was cooked perfect and tossed in olive oil with some hot sauce on the side. The pizza was very tasty and had that nice brick-oven char on the bottom. They had lots of veggie options and even one with potato! They have a nice drink menu with lots of wines, beer and cocktails as well as a good selection of non-alcoholic. This is a great place for dinning with friends or date night… bring the family here after trips to one of the fabulousness museums in the area. Can’t go wrong.

This place looks so cool inside! I love all the wood, it’s very vintage feeling. A friend and I came here for a late lunch one day. I work fairly close to this pizza place at Charme Nails & Studio so I’ve always wanted to try it. All of the employees here did their job great and were very nice and attentive. We ordered a happy hour Caesar salad and the Flyin’ Hawaiian pizza. The salad was really fresh and delicious. The pizza was great too the only thing is I would probably order it without the peppers next time. We also had a little convo with our waiter and that’s always nice. He was a nice guy. I love the wine racks on the upper level near the bar! Pretty cool. I would definitely eat here again! Looking forward to trying new pizza creations!

We stopped in for pizza around 8pm. The service was prompt! We got our pizza and salad less than 10 mins from ordering, and the pizza was fresh. Our Hawaiian pizza had ham, pineapple, garlic, and peppers. The ham is nicely shaved. We also got a Caesar salad. It’s top with really thin slices of Parmesan cheese. Next time I go I want to be sure to try the gelato sandwiches! We could see the cookies from our table and they looked good. The atmosphere is pleasant. 4 stars because you have to pay for parking prior to 8pm.

So dropped by here after a long day of MTG Tournament and they closed at 10, but the event didn’t fully finished until 9:30. They purposely serve a table of 7. They were extremely nice about it too. I didn’t know they had another restaurant in Seattle until I asked. The food was delicious and the service was extremely attentive. They had small operations mistakes but nothing really important. They forgot my friends food since she forgot to put it into the order, but she did later, and told my friend not to pay for it. Thanks to her though, she got a big tip from the rest of the table. Love the place, the ambiance is very chill and bar like. The sizes of the pizza were large. I can’t finish a 12 inch pizza on my own and the bottomless lemonade made my night awesome. I wish we had something like this in Vancouver. That was a fantastic night, in the middle of no where Tacoma downtown, and I wasn’t expecting the people that work there to be extremely nice to us. Thanks for giving us a great time. Will be visiting again if I am in Tacoma again :)

I am so happy this location is up and open! I’ve been to the one in Seattle and was super excited to learn Tacoma would be getting their very own. Our party came in on their second day open and were all super impressed with everything. The interior space, the food, and the service. I love when a place incorporates elements of old, historical buildings with modern touches… Exposed brick, rustic wood, filament lights and stainless steel. The interior looks amazing and is extremely comfortable. The service was a little shaky… But hey, they’ve only been open two days! They have a great beer and wine list. Local craft beers are featured. We were particularly excited to see Odd Otter’s Oddtoberfest, which was had by one of the people in our group. A lovely Rose was had during appetizers of roasted broccolini and the beet salad and a bolder Malbec with the truffled Mushroom with Sausage pizza on their fabulous gluten free crust… One of the best gluten free crusts I’ve had(there’ve been many) and cooked perfectly! The pizzas all looked so yummy that I’ve no choice but to come back… Again and again!

I’ve been looking forward to this place opening and it did not dissapoint. This is my 2nd time and its only been open for 4 days, visiting first with a group then by myself to try a few more things that caught my eye. It’s an arcitecturally beautiful wedge(pizza slice?) shaped two-story space on PacAve at the UWT campus. The loft style décor is well done to take full advantage of the potential. There is a bar on the mezanine level with access to outdoor seating to the rear facing the new campus greenbelt. While the focus of the menu may be the pizza with a great range from vegetarian(like Green Goddess) to meat-heavy(Carnivore) it is balanced with some great salads, sandwiches and appetizers. Everyone liked the Roasted Beet salad and Wood Fire Roasted Brocollini appetizer. All of the pies we tried, including one with the gluten free crust, were enthusiastically enjoyed. They were all definitely artisan. Then try the homemade icecream sandwich with cookies and gelato! They are committed to local sourcing and highlight the vegetables and meats they feature from the immediate area. On their 16 taps they are also dedicating most of them to the locals including Odd Otter, Wingman, Harmon and Seven Seas. This is a great place for groups which can order multiple pizzas and other items to share. But I can also eat a whole pie so group not required…
