Food was not good, asked for extra butter he even repeated it back to me then brought the normal ammount. Waiter Didn’t check on me at all. Food was greasy flavorless and looked like it all came out of a package, French toast was burnt. All around not a good experience. Customer service was not good

For me the stars are not«is this a 5 star restaurant«but«did this place live up to what it should be ?» We went to Elmer’s for breakfast. Place is clean with good hot breakfast food. Wait staff was pleasant and highly attentive. No coffee cup sat empty. Prices were reasonable. And unlike the Denny’s down the road, this place was clean, clean, clean. Clean tables and bathroom — none of the feeling of dust all over the nicknacks like so many family places have. We had the ranch breakfast, and one of our party did pancakes. Everything cooked just the way we asked. Would definitely go here again.

Went here for an informal brunch meeting. First off, the hot chocolate was D-Licious. Oh my goodness that was chocolately goodness yum! Apart from that is was pretty standard and good breakfast food. The service was great and the food was yummy. The only reason it gets 4 instead of 5 is that I have breakfast food that WOWed me, this was good, but not the absolute best ever. Still definitely worth it for a good, filling breakfast!

Busy place on a Sunday morning. We decided try it out. Coffee was average favor, nothing fancy. Farmers Inlet was good, not the best ever had. Shrimp was good, light battered. Firres were greasy and stale. Service was okay.

Chain restaurant, but good selection. Very similar to ihop or Denny’s. The hashbrowns were overlooked but my eggs, bacon and biscuit were good! Wait staff was great and our waitress was amazing! Probably wouldn’t go back here because it’s a chain and there are so many local places to chose to, but we didn’t realize it was a chain until we got there!

We ate here shortly after moving to Tacoma, it wasn’t horrible, but just OK. Honestly the IHOP on Meridian puts this place to shame. Most likely won’t be back. I mean its been two years and yeah, haven’t been back.

Elmers is a great place for solid comfort food if you just want to fill a craving. Very standard fare. Everything is ok. Two daily soups, salads, burgers, turkey plate etc… Breakfast foods are a better bet and served when ever you want them. There is a bar but rarely anyone in it. Close at 10(seems a little early on weekends). Serving staff are great. Gets full quickly on weekend mornings.

Staff is friendly, however I order eggs Benedict and instead of ham I asked for bacon. I got my breakfast and it had bacon and ham, but no egg. I ssked the waitress where the eggs were. She apologized and took my plate and came back with another order. This time it had only eggs and no meat. So, for a second time my plate went back and the bacon was added. The bacon wasn’t the best and when they brought my plate it had hollandaise sauce running down the side. It was very messy and the bacon was fatty and chewy. The manager came over and paid for my meal. This was super cool of him to do. I wasn’t expecting that at all. On another note my son had the cinnamon roll french toast. It was delicious and nothing wrong with his meal. I recommend because the food is most time very good. The manager making things right was awesome.

We had no problem with Elmer’s and appreciated how close it was off I5 South. We were serviced quickly and the service was excellent! The food was very good for an old fashioned breakfast, but not spectacular. The coffee… well, my husband said he’s had better. The restaurant and the bathrooms were clean, and there was ample parking. The reason for the score of 3 is because I didn’t know how to give it a 3.5. Dylan, the Manager came out and checked on the customers severally times while we were there, which was very much appreciated. We did leave satisfied.

Not the best quality food and super busy so we had to sit in the bar and it was kind of awkward to have a table that was facing the wall. The food came out quick and they did a good job cooking it, but the actual quality of the food that they order is not the best.

Made it in on a Sunday. It was crowed from the after Church crowd. There was a 20 minute wait for our table, which was expected. After we were seated it took 15 minutes to receive our drink orders, in my mind i was thinking this is at least my 6th time at Elmer’s and i always get the worst service possible. Our waitresses was friendly enough, just not attentive enough to deservice a tip.(Still gave a tip of 20%) food was good. The manager took care of us to make our experience great. I like Elmer’s. I still wish the waitstaff was on par with the Kitchen. It still will not keep me from enjoying them German pancakes.

It’s a nice little stop for breakfast right along Hosmer. To be honest I would have never came in because Ihop is right around the corner but after my boyfriend’s suggestion I went and was not disappointed! It was extremely busy the Sunday that we went but lucky we found a booth at the bar. The service was awesome and the food delightful. I would recommend coming to Elmers instead of your typical Ihop breakfast, you won’t be disappointed!

The food here is pretty standard. I’d say close to Denny’s, Sharis, IHOP etc. The service is good as well. I like that they have bar seating if you’d like to get away from the huge families and kids.

German pancakes is impressive. Only reason for 4star is because of price. Little expensive for its quality and QUANTITY Great service

Another great family lunch. The staff is always extremely friendly and curteous. The food was once again, exactly what and how I ordered it. The only draw back is a little bit selfish, the oj glasses can never be big enough. Just bring the machine out to the table, I love it. Brenda, was on top of everything and we never needed to ask.

Came here once, it was busy but we were able to get a table in the bar area. The food and service was good. Came in today and they were busy. We entered through the bar area and nothing available so we walked through the restaurant. As we walked through there were about 4 or 5 tables unoccupied and set. To my surprise as we approached the entrance, there were a lot of people waiting. We put our name down and it was a 45 minute wait. As we waited I saw 2 or 3 more tables on the other side of the restaurant unoccupied and set. So 7 or 8 tables unoccupied and set with multiple parties waiting to sit. Based on these two visits, what resonates with me is that they are not consistent. Only time will tell how CONSISTENT they are in being INCONSISTENT.

Super huge portions, super busy but definitely worth it. Their food and service was great. I didn’t really like their hash browns(too soggy/soft) for my taste but hey we will definitely be back.

The food was great, got the German pancake the original way… it was great, reminded me more of a crêpe than pancake. The eggs were done well, and the ham was good and grilled.

Chain restaurants are usually not my favorite place to eat at but this one is so good. I used to come here every Saturday morning for breakfast with my parents and it is still my go to breakfast spot. I love their pancakes. Best in town. Fluffy, slightly sweet and delicious. Get their mountain berry compote. It’s so good! The vegetable omelette meal comes with a a side of pancakes substitute. You can also sub. your hash browns for pancakes or vice versa. Service can be a little slower depriving how busy it is. But if you have a problem with your food the manager will always make it right. Tip: There’s a bar in the back of there is a wait!
