went on sunday(vday). line went long. you could put your name on a list and they call which we did. we waited about an hour or so. and played the machines while we waited instead of standing in the long line. bummed we had to stand in another line for food but that went by fast. food was delish. service was friendly. definitely worth the $ 25 we each paid.

Oh man. Let’s start with the employees. If you need a job, please, please, please, avoid this place like the plague. This is the biggest seething cauldron of angst I’ve ever experienced. They are absolutely miserable and the one manager, whom I will not name, is an absolute bitch to customers. I, as a guest in their restaurant, should not be able to pick up on this in the first 60 seconds of being in their presence. The lay out of the hostess/waiting area is ridiculously CONFUSING to say the least. We did wait a while, yes. I overheard the«manager»(while in her zip up hoodie!!!) talking to a complaining customer about how the wait was because the waitresses needed their breaks and that no one can work 10 hrs without breaks all while sounding extremely bitchy. We all have jobs ok. Don’t whine to us about your employees breaks. Why are you explaining this TOYOURCUSTOMERS? Even if the customer is being a pain in the ass to you about the wait, you HANDLE it. And you don’t have to bring up your breaks in order to do that. That’s what being a hostess/manager in hospitality is, diffusing situations like that professionally and with a smile. I work with people too and I am expected to be friendly, even if I don’t like them. God she was rude on so many levels. The buffet was ok. My boyfriend was happy as a clam with his shrimp and crab legs. I, the vegetarian, had salad, mashed potatoes and dessert. The food they did have wasn’t that bad actually. Watching the interactions between the wait staff was amusing. No one gets along and one hand doesn’t know what the other is doing. Besides the tension being palpable and the small selection of buffet items, it was ok.

The International Buffet at Emerald Queen Casino did a great job with my two all-time favorite buffet entrees. Prime rib was flavorful and tender. Salmon tasted great, was done just right(not overcooked) and flaked apart easily with my fork. They also had BBQ pork ribs which had a nice smoky flavor and a pasta station. It happened to be «Lobster Night» since it was Wednesday, so they had lobster too, but I didn’t want to mess around with the shells so I didn’t have any. They didn’t have a huge selection of entrée items but, for me, outstanding prime rib and salmon are the two big«benchmarks» I always look for and both of those were outstanding. Another good thing at Emerald Queen is that you can always get your food for free. If you check in with them when you arrive and play slots for two hours, they’ll comp you a $ 25 food voucher you can use for any of their restaurants. For me, I always head for the buffet.

Sunday is All you can eat LOBSTER, and their lobster is fantastic, Crab legs are great too, not the Giant ones though. So seniors it is only $ 22.50 with tax and beverages.(Or free if you want to gamble for 2 hours.) Can’t beat it. Best Buffet !!! And I have been to lots of them. The Clam Chowder is the best I have ever had. Pies are wonderful with real whip cream for the cream ones. JW

Seafood is sparse for a seafood buffet. Everything else is great, but I expected more. This is my 4th time at the buffet.

$ 25 dollars for AYCE crab including Dungeness, king, and snow plus prime rib and all sorts of other seafood and such. Past visits have been quite pleasing. Tonight not so much. Dungeness was flavorless, clams were overly salty, King was mostly frozen. When thawed I was left with a plate of water. What a waste of what could have been a great meal. Desserts…lemon meringue was awful and peach only slightly better. Chocolate cream was good. Service was acceptable, drinks were made well… Perhaps I’ll not be back.

Downside: waited in line for about 45 minutes, BUT I got a comp from the Casino for playing for 2 hours, which me and my fiancé loved so it wasn’t that bad to wait for. We got in like about 9pm on Crab and Steak Night. The service was a little slow on our drinks. UPSIDE: I always have LOW expectations for buffets, but this buffet was really delicious! I had a plate full of the snow crab, cold shrimp, and baked salmon. I am Native American and believe me when I say I know what good salmon is, and I can’t believe how tasteful and really juicy the salmon was! Then I had another plate with yummy mashed potatoes and brown gravy(which I’m usually picky about but was great), a slice of the New York Steak cut from the big piece of meat which was juicy. They had a good looking salad bar but I honestly didn’t grab any because I wanted to stuff myself with seafood and steak! Lol. As of right now this is my favorite buffet spot.

I am only leaving one star because I have to. We went to the seafood Buffet that featured crab legs. They were left on ice and were extremely cold and fishy. The service was horrible. We asked to sit in non smoking area and there were smokers right across from our table. The rest of the food was mediocre and was not worth 50 $. I’m not sure if cold crab legs is a Washington thing, but they were horrible.

We went to the casino for my little sister’s 21st birthday and decided to check out the buffet. Horrible idea, waited over half and hour in a smoke filled environment. Finally got to the register and we were told they can only seat six per table, REALLY? So we ended up sitting across the restaurant from the rest of my family. Had to wait in another line to get to the buffet, the selection was very poor and the food was not very good for the price(I paid $ 25.00 + tip). Total waste of time and money, save yourself both and eat somewhere else!

Service is good! Food is surprisingly in decent quality at a reasonable price. The prime rib is tasty for its value. I will come back again.

My first experience at this buffet, and last. At 3:30 the wait was 45 minutes and the staircase is in the middle of the smokey casino floor. I went and waited at the bar in the non-smoking part of the casino. They paged me after 30 minutes. The atmosphere is cheap diner but the staff is very friendly and on top of providing a decent experience. The Sunday lobster special for $ 25 is an okay price if the food was good. I spend $ 30 at chain steakhouses when I dine alone. However, the lobster is horrible. Overcooked by so much that it’s almost rubber. Each tail is about 2 ounces and the claws are an additional ounce. There was no hope for the lobster, it was gross. They have beef they call NY strip, but it doesn’t taste like NY strip. It has the texture of prime rib. That is where I gave them one star. It was pretty good. They also had a pork with maple pecan glaze. The pork was okay but the glaze was terrible. The tri-tip beef dish also had a strange flavor. I’d pass this place over and go somewhere else to eat. It might be worth $ 4.99 but that’s about it.

Great place if you like Lobster! I don’t care for it too much but they have what you would want for a seafood buffet. Shrimp, Crab, steak, pasta bar(cut up some lobster and add), desserts and drinks. Now this is only offered Wednesdays and Sundays. If $ 25 seem too high per person, go get a players club and play slots for 2 hrs and get it for free. Ask players club for details. A secret, people walk up to the restaurant and ask to get buffet too if the line is too long. You can have buffet at the restaurant too.

For the price $ 24.95 per person… really not worth it. The only hot Seafood that they had were the fried shrimp. Everything else was cold(crablegs & shrimp) the pasta bar was pretty good, but after that it was all pretty much. BLAH

OK i only went here because my brother was raving about their lobster buffet(Sun & Wed only) WAITEDIN A LINEFOROVERANHOURANDHALF! Finally got to the register and to my surprise another 30MINUTEWAIT for a table! While I was at the cashier I peaked behind the cashier and I just knew this place was NOT goin be all that. They had like maybe 20 items to choose from that includes the salad bar… the only thing AWESOME is their FRYBREAD! Lobsters are split down the middle… about ¼ pound. TIP: save yourself the time and buy WHOLEONES at Albertsons for $ 4.99 each!

The lobster is what attracts people here. I came here on a Sunday night with some of my cousins. They only give out one lobster per plate, and the lobster is cut in half for you. Of course there’s an option to pour melted butter over it. Lobster is quite filling, so I could only eat 1 ½, while my cousin only ate 2 full ones. The tail isn’t the best part as I thought it would be, it’s the claw or hand that’s the best! Other dishes were good too. They have a small selection here, but the selections are good. They also had clams, which were okay. Deep fried crab legs were quite good. I also enjoyed the dessert area, where the cakes are a bit too sweet for me, but are delicious. They even had a smoking section, so it’s a plus for all you smokers out there! I didn’t get a chance to try the pasta section, but it looked great. I know what I’ll try next time. A must try for all of you lobster lovers. Certainly not the best lobster out, but worth trying. For only $ 25, one whole lobster and a plate of something else will get your money’s worth. The waitress was friendly, so she got a decent tip.

Pretty good buffet, I came on lobster night. The first guy who helped us was very great with checking on us and clearing our plates. Then he kind of disappeared and my husband was in need of a soda refill for about ten minutes, was hard to get the servers attention, the tables around us cleared up, so that means they should have more chances to check for refills right? They didn’t we had to ask, so we didn’t leave much tip because of that. The lobster was good the first time, it was perfectly seasoned then the 2nd and 3rd pieces we had were overly salted. The prime Rib was really good and I love their Au Jus. They have a fresh pasta station where a guy cooks the ingredients you want in your pasta. I chose sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms and shrimp with pepper flakes, garlic and alfredo sauce. It was undercooked, and the mushroom still tasted raw which I don’t mind except that the mushrooms were really browned like they were sitting out all day. So I think the freshness needs to step it up a notch here. They have a small salad selection there too, and the rolls are regular, likely store bought, not fresh rolls and the fry bread they have is DELICIOUS. They also have some good roasted potatoes MM… that was good. Not a whole lot of food selection, but its decent especially with the good lobster most of the time. And the snow crab legs were GOOD! mmm nice and naturally sweet! I liked their pie selection the best, I saw a meringue pie, apple, cherry, etc. Bread pudding, cobbler, soft serve ice cream and little tiny bite size pies. Very good. I would give it a 4 stars but because I didn’t get a well prepared pasta or much of a selection or that great of service I give it a 3 stars. Overall GOODSEAFOOD.

I don’t go to gamble but for the buffet. On Sundays they have all you can eat lobster that’s the only time I will go to make my 25 $ worth it o and of course the crab legs. The down fall is that you have to wait in a line for 45 min or more and enduring the cigarette smoke wile waiting but for the lobster it’s worth The wait. All the other food was good as well a big variety I love the prime rib it had good flavor and was juicy. I have been here twice and the service has been amazing! The waiters were always refilling our drinks and real friendly always checking up on us. I would definitely go back again.

Here’s what you do: Show up on a Sunday or Wednesday to the Emerald Queen Casino. Preferably with some friends. Preferably early on, as it gets REAL crowded late in the day. Check in. Head back to the non-smoking section of the casino(unless you actually want to bathe in cigarette smoke). Play the penny slots for a little over two hours, but don’t go crazy. Chill, bullshit with your friends, take your time. You’re not here to actually win money. Next, head back to the check-in and collect your compensation ticket. THISISYOURGOLDENTICKET. You now have free access to the International Buffet. Head to the line for the buffet(there’s ALWAYS a line to wait in) and wait it out. Unfortunately you do have to bathe in cigarette smoke this time. Sorry. Sign the back of your ticket. Hand it in. Enter buffet. Why come on a Sunday or Wednesday you ask? Because it’s lobster night. And this is when you get your chance to beat the casino. Eat as many of those damn lobsters as you can and laugh as you realize that you’re pretty much eating for free, unless you did in fact lose a bunch of money on the slots. One time I came here and gambled with the same dollar the entire two hours, and then proceeded to demolish about 5 plates of lobster and crab, among other things. That’s what I call beating the casino. Also, this is actually one of the best buffets I’ve ever been too. They have an excellent selection of food and desert, and unlike most buffets I’ve been too their food isn’t overly salty. The lobster is a bit overcooked but still pretty damn good for being at a buffet. The ribs and mashed potatoes are insanely good, you could seriously just come here and eat these two things and be satisfied. They also have a salad and soup bar, tons of desert, and a noodle bar. BOOM.

Not too shabby EQC… Not too shabby… Came here for a company Xmas lunch and thought they had a nice selection of food. We had a pretty large party and they handled everything well and made sure our plates were picked up and our drinks were filled. I thought the food was really good for a buffet. A little on the small side but they made up for it with quality. I would definitely eat here again.
