The posted hours are 9AM to 9PM on Sundays. Tried to order a pizza at 8:40 and they told me I was not allowed to as they had already shut down the kitchen at 8:15. This is no way to run a business! Hours of operation should mean hours of operation.

Today was my very first experience at PSP after hitting the bar, Mix. Amazing… This spot welcomes everyone with no judgement. People are down to earth and they are open until 2AM. Service was quick(even though they were busy). I was served immediately and the gentleman who took my order was very attentive. He obviously knew I was a newbie. I ordered the Grinder. It’s basically a pizza sandwich. You can get any filling as if you would get toppings on a pizza. It was very flavorful. This is not an ordinary pizza sandwich or a pizza boat. He added some kind of butter with herbs and parmesan cheese on top of the bread while it was toasted(I assume). He said it would take 15 minutes, but it was less than that. Today is a Friday night and they had Karaōke night downstairs. It was a full house, y’all. I would suggest to come early to get a table. I’m coming back here for sure. So if you want great tasting pizza in the local area and not from a franchise, come to PSP.

Ordered a pizza over the phone, wanted it with an addition of Pesto and balsamic reduction. Went to pick it up, no balsamic reduction and the pesto is on the pizza instead of red sauce. Went back in and was told oh we don’t do additional sauces unless specified. I’m ok, can I get it redone? No sorry we can’t. We can give you a side of red sauce. Um nope sorry that’s not what I want. They wouldn’t remake the pizza, handed me a refund and said they couldn’t make me a new one??? Never experienced that before. Ok so yeah still hungry since they wouldn’t sell me a new pizza, not sure what to make of this.

Stopped here today on the way to a paint and sip class at uncorked. One of the best bbq chicken pizzas I’ve had, although the wait was a little longer than I was hoping for, but still fantastic.

The bartender thinks he owns the bar. He’s pretty rude. I asked for the ticket that take took about 15 mins on a chill Sunday(mostly everyone drank). Then waited another ten mins to have him collect the bill amount. After ten mins go by and I shout to him across the bar for my change because I’m was ready to go. He gave me a head nod and continued to talk with his«friend.» Another 5 mins go by and I walk up to him to collect my change. Low and behold he’s holding my change in his hand while he’s talking to his«friend». I asked for my change and he said he wanted to talk with his friend first. Wtf??? Who does that. Even his friend was surprised his said something so arrogant. On the flip side, the food is awesome and great prices. So I continue to go, and the cook is pretty awesome. Wish he works every time I go.

We ordered a 10 inch Mt. St Helens. Definitely was a good idea. It was fresh and perfect. This is my first time in to PSP, & I will be back. My only complaint is that they don’t deliver. I will be back soon.

Fantastic pizza. Great service. Tasty thinner crust that is baked to crunchy, not soft. My fella and I go half veggie with the other half meat and both are super tasty. Balsamic glaze is a perfect finish. Their salads are large w fresh ingredients and a great starter. We love pizza nights here.

One of very favorite pizza joints around… excellent pizza pie, to-die-for subs and grinders. You will love this place.

The pizza is great! They open til 2am so it is a perfect spot for hanging out and late night food. Guys working there are really chill and the place is very chill and laid back. They got karaōke nights most days and just wait until the girl working there grabs the mic and sing! Oh yea they have nice local beer selections!

Really excellent pizza, breadsticks and fresh salad! Tried this place while visiting from out of town and really enjoyed it. Marinara was really great. Only complaint is pizza was pretty greasy. Above average service, friendly staff. Not cheap but definitely not expensive and they have a great berry cider on tap. I would definitely visit again!

I love pizza and that is a fact that can be verified be numerous sources. I also love Puget Sound Pizza. It’s excellently cheesy, the crust is perfectly chewy and thick but not too thick, and the sauce isn’t sweet– ahoy– we have found a winner. It’s a bit expensive in my opinion, but I’d rather leave my dollars here than at Dominos so I’ll be back time and time again.

PSP = NOMNOMNOM. Quite possibly the best pizza in the entire Puget Sound region, plus a fun bar with great specials, karaōke, and trivia nights! I’ve been a regular customer at Puget Sound Pizza for many years now, and it’s still one of my favorite places for getting dinner & drinks(or lunch & beers) in downtown Tacoma. Though the menu also includes sandwiches, salads, and such, the pizza is the real star attraction here(of course!). Big, greasy, and delicious pies composed of fresh, flavorful toppings and molten cheese on a crispy/chewy hand-rolled crust comes out of the kitchen piping hot, and usually within 15 – 20 minutes or so of ordering. There are two sizes available: a 10-inch ‘small’($ 10 and up) or a 16-inch ‘large’($ 19.50 and up). The specialty pizzas on the menu here are pretty freaking terrific– I usually wind up going with the St. Helens, Hipster, Hawaii Five-O, Veggie, or some combination of these. The restaurant space itself isn’t anything spectacular: there are a few tables in the ‘family dining’ area just inside the front door at street level, and a larger bar area located down a short flight of steps. The bar is really where it’s at: happy hour specials from 2−6pm and 9pm-12am, karaōke after 9pm Tues-Sat, and a really kick-ass trivia night at 9pm on Mondays. They keep a pretty good selection of local microbrews on tap and have several cocktail specials too. The staff here, including the cook, bartender, servers, and karaōke/trivia hosts, are all outstanding as well. The only major gripe I can think of about Puget Sound Pizza is that they recently dropped their amazing weekend breakfast menu. Otherwise, great place!

I suprisingly liked this place way more than I thought I would. I kept smelling their aroma every time I walked past here and glad I finally gave it a try. I ordered a small size of their pesto pizza along with artichokes and such. The pizza tasted great and they have a decent beer selection. The pizza obviously is greasy so if you don’t normally eat that much of it it can… I won’t go into further detail on that. Despite that the food was very good and I do look forward to going back sometime.

FOOD: great. Was bad once and still better than the good days at other places. The specialty cheese is hands down the best cheese pizza I’ve ever eaten. My boss is vegan and raised her daughter to be a picky 10yo hipster-esque vegetarian and She says it’s her favorite pizza place. The kid won’t eat Kraft cheese so her opinion actually counts here. PRICE: really expensive! A large carry out cheese is $ 22 and change after taxes. Paying for quality though. SERVICE: I don’t tip here and I don’t feel bad. I only ever call ahead here and 1 time they said I was late(bull I live 2 blocks away) so the next time I came in 15 min after my call and was asked if I actually thought it only took 15 min to cook a pizza. I know the bar back and he’s nice in a hipster to hipster sort of way. I’ve seen him with others though and he’s rude to them. Everyone else is rude to me. OVERALL: great food fair prices(quality!!) horrible service.

Ya know, my first time here was full of peace and love the moment I crested at the hill as I pulled into the parking space. Free parking after? 6pm perhaps? Idk parking is relatively pennies compared to the SPS adventure. Tuesday thru Saturday there is karaōke until last call is announced. 1:15ish? Also the last minute to order food is 1:15am. menu states they stop pasta, sandwiches, and salads are not sold after 11pm. In my amazing experience you should just ask them if it’s possible. They exceed expectations here :) Open glass windows joyfully bring a warm ambience to the surrounding streets. There’s a thoughtful man wearing a beard mask(bonus points!!) So no chance of hair be accidentally in the food. This shows me that this establishment clearly adheres to a moral guide permeating through all employees soul. Their representation, guest interaction and fun grace really won me over! Onto the food. Spent $ 44.90 w/o a 30% tip(you do the math, they deserved it) and I barely dug in and am soooo content ;) Veggie specialty pie add meatball: Short of no aforementioned described menu toppings. A healthier alternative to other pizzas. the veg is fresh folks! Nice crust too, not too heavy or thin. Buffalo wings(sauce on side w/blue cheese): I feel these are baked prior to frying because they are cooked through and meaty little guys. Prefer them a little more crispy but none the less two did me over. Blue cheese appears homemade also, and thicker than appears. Needs more(some?) Fresh garlic and basil could jazz it up immensely! Meatball grinder. Hoagies and grinders. hoagies and grinders: Yes these are homemade meatballs(forgot to ask what meats) and they make me feel like I could easily translate to Adam Sandler in The Wedding Singer and be paid in them. Yes Grammy I’ll eat them in front of you shamelessly because they are THAT good! Hah :) go here. Enjoy this downtown Destiny City gem ;)

This place is full of tweakers and hipsters. Stay as far away as you can. This is hands down the worst bar in Tacoma. I will not come back here ever again.
