Sprint Store

Horrible service. I will never have a contract with this horrible place again. I am supposed to get a 22% employee discount, not getting it. Even after verification of my employer. When I started this account, I made it a point to go in after my payday so the due date would be after the payday. Guess what? The made it before that date and they refuse to change it, so I will continue to be late. Yeah I am not the least bit happy with them, the service or anything about Sprint. Only 22 months until I can tell them to go fuck off and die

Sprint is the absolute worst and I know this the hard way being with them for 11 years. But this store in particular is so much more terrible. I think Sprint gathered their worst of the worst employees and stuck them all in this store. Unfriendly agents, no servicing, I went in with some issues with my iPhone and they told me to take it to the apple store first. I didn’t even have apple care, I had the stupid sprint insurance (which is an absolute scam, if you have iphone, go with apple care!!!)
Once went in to talk about my bill, got the agent John Canales. I was paying $ 135/​mo for one line by myself. No one else, no other devices. I told him that I was really considering trying a different carrier but I’ve been with Sprint so long that I didn’t necessarily want to. John even agreed that was way too much but tried selling me a second line. I told him I didn’t need one but he kept pushing it and pushing it. Even offered me an ipad as a second line. Said there was NO OTHER WAY to get a cheaper plan. How does adding a second line make your bill cheaper? Guess what? IT DOESN’T! I told him that I just upgraded my ipad a week before and was happy with it and didn’t have a need for a second line and to stop trying to sell me a second line because he was wasting his time. Then he tells me that maybe I should go with another carrier. I couldn’t believe that he said that to me! Just because I didn’t fall victim to your commission? That guy needs to get fired…

The man who helped me blatantly lied about my monthly fees (he quoted HALF of what my bill said) and told me insurance was a requirement for the first 14 days. I’m lucky that phone customer service switched me to the price I was told and reimbursed the insurance fees, after telling me, «That’s not true, that’s a lie. You do not need insurance to activate or purchase.»

Even one star is being too nice.
I kept seeing the ads for Sprint’s great deals for unlimited data and thought, «what the hell, why not?» Little did I know their services are NOT the same as their competitors and their cell reception is horrible for someone who is constantly on the road. 4G LTE does not exist with this company. But if you are connected to wifi… your phone will work great. Hah. See what I did there?
I purchased the iPhone 6 (128 gb) and signed up for thier unlimited data, talk and text. I was also offered a free tablet for being a new customer — a tablet that I did not take out of the box or use — a tablet that the customer service rep opened, used and updated the settings in. I paid over $ 500 cash for an iPhone and tablet.
2 days later, I was on a call for a little over an hour and when I got off, I had received 40 back-​to-​back text messages flooding in. I thought this was a settings option on my phone but I couldn’t find one so I called Sprint and the customer service rep said she lifted it and I would be able to talk and text and the same time. No big deal. Later, I find out I can’t be on a call while using data either. For instance, if I am driving and am on a call and need my GPS, I would not be able to use it. I called Sprint back to see if they could lift that as well but they said no, they don’t offer it. I asked for the refund policy as she looked up my account, she told me it would only be a $ 35 restock fee. I immediately went back to AT&T, ported my number back, upgraded to an iPhone 6 with them (which was CHEAPER!) and kept the same plan I was on.
When it came time to return my phone back to Sprint, I brought everything with me and was told I would need to pay the $ 35 restock fee for the iPhone and an additional $ 75 restock fee for the «FREE» tablet. First of all, I didn’t open that tablet — they did. Secondly, it was never used.
I explained to the people working there that had I known they didn’t offer the same thing as their competitors, I wouldn’t have changed services at all. The assistant manager who was overseeing the customer service rep working said, «there is so much information to pass onto the customer while they are here shopping in store that telling them they can’t use their phone and use the internet at the same time is not a priority». Wow. Really? You suck at customer service. But you said with a semi-​smile so you should be proud of yourself.
So, all in all, I was charged $ 110 in restock fees for a product I did not use all because I was not told they do not offer the same thing as their competitors. Also, because I paid in cash and the amount exceeds $ 175, I have to wait an additional 7 – 30 days to receive a check from their corporate office to be refunded. They’re quick to tell you something and forget, quick to take your money and not refund it and also quick to sell you something because they need to make their commission.
The other thing I did not like was my sales person asked me to fill out a survey that will be sent to my phone and give her all 5’s because if not, that would hurt her score and she could really use the 5’s. When I asked if she was allowed to tell her customers that she said «YEA, WE DO IT ALL THE TIME.»
How this company is still open is way beyond me.

Awful store. The sprint guy misrepresented the contract I ended up with costing far more than he said. Scam artists. By the time you learn what the contract really costs the 14 day window to change plans has passed. This store represents the worst in business practices. I hope they go out of business.

Went to sprint store on 12-​15-​2014 around 10:30a to pay a bill. Ask greeter (Asian female) a simple question of international data roaming charge in Canada which she really didnt know (given her body language). Wanted to confirm if it was .002 $/​kb for data but also wanted to know the rate for voice. Her reply was go ask Canada sprint which to me was plain rude. I dont know why sprint would hire a person that is unknowledge of their own service. Also if she didnt know it would be nice to find out from another associate. Its the begining of the day and this employee is unknowledgable and lazy; two characteristic of a bad employee.

I hate Sprint.

Easily the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I went into this store to get a new phone three times this week. Each time I went into the store it seemed like helping me was a complete hassle. At one point I went outside to call Sprint and I got better information from over the phone than I did from the employees in the store. I’ve worked in customer service for a long time and I can understand having an off day, on occasion, but each and every employee treating customers like they’re lesser than them every day is absurd. This Sprint location oozes a crappy attitude. You can feel it as soon as you walk in the door. Honestly, don’t bother with this location. I thought I could go in and get a new phone, in and out in 30 minutes or so. I ended up walking to the T-​Mobile store and switching services purely because of the non-​existent customer service in this store. Just don’t bother.

Worse company ever!!! Bad service. Associate don’t acknowledge you, when you arrive. Manager Samantha is a rude, uncaring, useless manager. Setting the store & company for failure. Ask them to assist with my phone. Stating I need to renew my contract and «make «it an international plan to unlock my already paid phone. Saying that I would have to do everything on the phone. Not offering to call customer services, shushing me to be quiet. Wren ask to speak to someone else she flat out said no. Sorry but I’m the manager. Bs. Crap!!! This is why I’m going to another company

God awful customer service.
I couldn’t believe some of things they were saying.
Manager knows about these awful reviews and does not care.
Save yourself the headache and get with your phone dealt with elsewhere.
They simply do not listen. I’d rather buy a knew phone outright than deal with this store again.

Came here today to get a new phone, since our contract is up– guess they dont do contracts anymore from what the salesperson said.
Was thinking about switching to a IPhone, but decided to stay with the Samsung Galaxy and went with the Galaxy S4 phone and we ended up getting a Tablet also :) Very pleased with the service here and always been happy with Sprint.

This store ought to be ashamed of itself long wait times and a tech has to look at your device before they fix it and they act funny about it! After you’ve spent all of your hard earned money. Techs should be on duty whenever the store is open!

Poor service. I will never step foot in the Tacoma 38^th/​Fife street store again. I think the assistant manager was Thomas in Tacoma. He could care less if I had been a Sprint customer for 15 years. I really got jacked around purchasing an iphone in Sept. 2012. I had to purchase another one when that was stolen in Feb. 2013 and I got jacked around again. The company as a whole has gone downhill. I guess they have enough customers they dont have to worry about customer retention. I would think carefully before signing a 2 year contract with this cell group.

Worst service ever! They tell me their repair techs leavr 4 hours before the business closes and I am SOL. The front host gal was rude and condecending with an aire of «I couldn’t care less about your issue». This experience alone makes me want to cancel my three phones and move to Verizon. Worst Sprint experience ever! (Sadly not by much though)

Absolutely the worst. Dianne and the assistant manager (can’t be bothered to remember his name, young, balding, glasses) are two of the most condescending «customer service» examples I have ever encountered. Dianne is the first person you meet when you walk in and the last person you want to deal with. The assistant manager is worse than useless. There is absolutely no reason for them to have a digital waiting list as it is completely ignored. Have an appointment? Don’t bother, they will not honor it, as the couple I was speaking with waited half an hour past their time and still no service. They left. I was number 2 on the list, there were 3 employees helping other customers. Simple math says I should have been one of those customers. Mind you, these were customers that walked in after me. It took an hour to pick up a phone I had paid for a week earlier. Daniel was the only professional in that cess pit. Avoid this store at all costs.

I had the worst experience there last night. I will never go back into this store. if you have to take your phone in for repair, do it elsewhere. If you need a phone, buy it at another sprint store. the wait times are beyond reason. I called in for an appointment, and was treated poorly, and placed on hold forever. You end up waiting the first time to get the phone serviced, then you wait forever the second time when you pick it up. This is happened too many times. I had a very negative experience with tech support in this store right before closing yesterday. A very rude african american female catagorically and without listening, dismissed all of my research and claims. I had spoke with HTC about the phone. she did not want to swap it. She did not listen at all. the phone still doesnt work. i called corporate and they are sending me a new phone. glad someone can listen! I love Sprint, but I hate this store and will never return for anything! I even told the manager about all the negative talk about them on Unilocal and he did not seem to care.

I hate having to come to this store. The wait times are out of this world. They should really hire more staff to handle the amount of customers that come into this store. If you have to go here please pack a lunch, a book and maybe a sleeping bag because you will be here for awhile.

Worst service EVER! I came in three days in a row and spent multiple hours trying to get help, to no end. The first day I waited about an eon or so, only to be told their computer system was down, so the repair team couldn’t even look at my phone. (Um, why not just write down the customer info and let the person drop the phone off??) The next day, I came in again, and was excited to be the first person in line. But my excitement was way off base as it turns out I still had to wait a millennium — while multiple Sprint techs sort of stood around looking bored and not helping. When I eventually got «helped,» I had to leave my phone overnight because they had a 3-​hour backup (which they apparently say every time you need your phone repaired). Came again today to be told that my phone was «water damaged» and they would not pay for damages. Funny, when I left it there, it didn’t have any water damage (I checked under the battery to see if the square was still white, and it was). Today, it has water damage (the square is now red). So basically, they damaged my phone with water so I couldn’t get a new phone in exchange. I asked to speak to the manager and the very rude customer «support’ person wouldn’t even let me. Luckily I have insurance so that covers all but the $ 100 deductible, but Sprint wouldn’t even help me file the claim — I had to do it all myself. More like customer disservice than customer service. Sprint — stop hiring the rock bottom worst people in the world to work for your company please!

Had to come for repair on my HTC EVO. My touch screen was going out on me. It was not registering the R when I touched it. My screen was also beginning to freeze up often. So, the wait was about 10 mins for a staff person to assist and tell me I had to wait a little bit longer. When the young lady called my name next, she said I would most likely need to do a reset which would require me to back up all my contact info to Gmail. Guess what… Houston we were having a communication problem and getting errors. How lovely.
Soooo another person came to help. I had to eat while he took my phone to the phone ER room. I was starving… cant think when hungry.
Unfortunately for me, I didn’t think that my phone would lock him out and it would require my password to get back in. I found that out 45 mins later when I returned from getting some chow. The wait requires about 1 hr. I’m here… waiting and using their computer to dink around. The repair guy was able to back things up to my 8G memory card.
The good news is that they will replace my protective screen because the entire touch screen is being replaced. I thank God for a local repair store and that I bought cell insurance when I bought my phone. They were as helpful as can be.
