It made me put in one star. This place is an S hole. Seriously over priced for what you get. The service is slow and the place is dirty. This is every time. The owners obviously only care about profit.

First time here, I love the bar environment and I’m usually give large tips… Not tonight. The bar tender on the evening of this Sunday night ignored and hardly check on us. Just rude and never once smiled. It was like pulling teeth to get service. And rude over giving us pull tabs. Let’s just say I never complain, but this was unacceptable service.

We went in for lunch today, because I remembered how good the pizza was years ago here. My how times have changed! Most of the toppings appeared to have come from a package, and the pizza just didn’t seem quite right. The crust was probably the best part of it. The décor could have used some improvement as well, there was peeling paint and dirty windows, and just a sense of overall disrepair. I can honestly say there is much, much better pizza to be had out there for the price we paid.

We love going here on Tuesday nights for poker. The drinks are good and it’s 3 drinks for the price of 2. The food was great until about 6 months ago. I don’t know if they maybe change their ingredients or switch up venders but the food doesn’t taste the same. It’s still edible but not great like before. It’s a fun place to hang with friends

I love this place. Been coming here since I was eight. Some things change and some places don’t. Still the same cheap wood paneling, still the same free happy hour pizza, still the greasiest sandwich I ever had(Canadian Bacon sandwich with tartar sauce), and Spudder Chips. Don’t get me started on the Spudder Chips… Same people, same place. It’s nice to go in and feel right at home.

One is the dinner salad($ 4.50), a towering iceberg lettuce masterpiece with a big mound of shredded mozzarella and a fat tablespoon of chopped black olives. The second is the Spudder chips($ 5), fresh-cut, thick potato chips that arrived volcano-hot with a side of tartar sauce and ketchup. Read more here:

So my coworkers and I have been here since 6:0pm and it is 7:29pm and still no food. I had to hunt the«only waitress» to just get pitch of water that was half full. I’ve never been here but this is a really bad first impression and all they kept doing was apologize and I hope they go out of business. Everyone here looks very unhappy. Worst pizza place ever.

6⁄10. Ordered a thick crust pizza, waited ½ hour for a thin crust one. There wasn’t much sauce, the toppings were not similarly sized, so the large pieces of onion didn’t cook. I’d eat here again if someone really wanted to, but I wouldn’t choose it.

Walking in to Spuds pizza parlor I felt like I was transported back to the 70’s. Not saying it’s a big turn off. There is no table service, you come in and order at the counter. I was kind of bummed with there wings they are pre made factory wings that are already coated. And I honestly think they are way over priced for what I was getting.

This is the worst pizza place I have ever visited. They pile cheese on their salads, the wings are chewy and not crisp in the least and the cheese on top of the under-cooked pizza is like stretchable plastic. There was no salvageable«food,» we went somewhere else to eat.

The pizza was terrible: the crust was thin and stale-tasting and the toppings were scant. The wings tasted freezer-burnt. The service was awful: we only got our drinks refilled once. Even the people sitting across from us were having a bad meal(they ordered salads, and most of the salad was a heaping mound of cheese. Barely any veggies to speak of.) The inside looked like a dive bar with a pizza kitchen in the front. It either needs to stop pretending to be a pizza joint and just be a dive bar, or hurry up and go out of business. How is it possible that anyone can rate this place over two stars?

When I was a kid, spuds pizza was the treat of the week! I also remember going to spuds after the boys and girls club and having a blast. I can also look you in the face today and tell you that its one of the best tasting pizzas you can get. But today, the story has changed. Today was hot as sh#t out, so my wife suggested spuds salads and took off to pick them up for a light lunch. When she got there it was business as usual. but when it came time to pay for the food something went terribly wrong! They charged us 28 bucks for salads… How? Why? Did we do something wrong? I don’t mind spending a lot of money to eat, we do mind however, spending that kind of money on lettuce and cheese. Get your sh#t together spuds. You’re a dive bar with bad service and your good food is the only thing keeping you alive. Try not to ruin the only thing you got by charging too much.

I used to enjoy the fact that Spud’s hasn’t changed much over the years. Until I came in today for lunch. Although there were 2 employees standing at the counter, not paying attention to anyone coming or going, and I would say not even considering the idea to help a customer with the ordering process. Once I was finally«helped», I made my way to the inside balcony sitting area in enough time to find crumbs & grease on 6 of the 8 tables. So I found the one with the least amount, did their job for them and cleaned it off, and sat down next to the table with an old cup of water on it. It has been 20 minutes as of now, and still have not received my drink order, ice water. I don’t understand how the owners, managers and any format of staff actually don’t care enough to clean. One would think that standing around long enough someone would get bored and find something to do … like maybe pick up a rag to clean. This place gives dives a bad name. This place can be improved with a cleaning service or a wrecking ball. Beware. choose something better. Below is a copy of the Department Of Health’s last inspection. We’ve been coming here for years. This will be our last trip. Service has gone downhill and now the food has hit an all time low. My wife’s dinner salad is half the size from our last trip. My burger was over cooked. We were not given our discount that should have been applied to our nightly special.

The next time some big black dude in an orange Spuds t-shirt approaches my car and throws things at me, then reaches IN my car… he better have a bullet proof vest or a gas mask! That’s BEFORE I call 911 and press charges for assault. The nerve of some people! He thought I was in «HIS» parking lot, when I was actually shopping at Auto Zone, who REALLY owns that parking lot!!! Spuds needs to just close their doors!

When I worked on the east side of Tacoma lots of locals talked about Spuds and how amazing it was. So when my aunt offered to take me there and pay, I was kind of excited to check it out. As soon as I walked in the lounge I changed my mind. Lol it smells really weird like stale smoke and cheap Cologne. The booth seats are cracked and worn, it was just not appealing to any of my senses… Speaking of which, let’s talk food! We ordered a bunch of appetizers and shared. We also had some drinks… Long Island: bottom shelf and gasoliney Margarita: also bottom shelf and tasted like a hangover Strawberry Lemonade with Absolut: YUM but expensive and they don’t use real strawberries Cheesy Garlic Bread: bland, definitely cheesy and you get a big cup of spaghetti sauce for dipping Both types of wings were good Cheesy spudder tater things were good but also kind of bland… The taco pizza thing was good. Their crust is nice! I’d be open to trying a meat pizza from there(of someone else paid lol). Service was lame. But I think the girl was the only server so I’ll forgive her. Another girl showed up later in the evening. She was nice and helpful. Anyway… I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here again but it wasn’t a total do not recommend.

Today, my family and I had the unfortunate experience of eating here. When we walked in, there was no one around, so we sat ourselves at a table in plain view. We picked the only table that had been bussed, the rest of the tables were laden with dirty dishes. This should have been a deterrent to begin with, but we decided to give it a chance. We sat for ten minutes and no one came by, so we went to the front in search of an employee. No one was in sight, so I grabbed a to-go menu and took it back to our table. A few more minutes passed and we finally went back to the front and spoke to a young girl. We asked if someone would be by to take our order, and she responded in a curt monotone voice, «You order here.» So, we ordered a side, a pizza and sodas. We went back to our table and waited– meanwhile, the dirty tables were left filthy, at this point we had been there for a better part of half a hour. After a bit, we could see our side in the window for a few minutes… My husband went to the front and asked if it was ours(it was), and as he took it back to our table, the girl we had spoken to earlier walked by muttering, «sh#t, sh#t, sh#t»… She came back with our drinks and some plates a couple of minutes later. After awhile, she came back to our table, and without a word, removed the plate with the side without asking us if we were done. Shortly after that, she brought the pizza, which would have been good, but the bottom of the pie was badly burnt. Also, my husband went to the front to ask for silverware, and someone directed him to the kitchen area to find it… In any case, we all tried to eat a slice, but we all just ended up picking the cheese off. We brought the pizza back and the cook(we’re assuming) refunded our money for the pie. As we got ready to leave, another family sat across from us(at a table that was just bussed– 1 of 3 that were cleaned during our hour in the restaurant, the rest were still trashed when we left), they were instantly greeted and given menus and had their drink order taken. I asked the lady serving them as she walked by if they normally had waitstaff and she said, «We do, but she had a family emergency today… Sorry if you had bad service… .» So, just, wow. I understand working in food & beverage, I did for several years when I was younger, so I don’t like to complain– but this was truly awful. The food was okay, but the service didn’t exist, and the place was completely gross. It’s just a little hole in the wall type place, so we weren’t expecting much– but c’mon, it was just BAD. The best part of the experience was leaving.

Several people told me about this place and how good the pizza and spuds are. Also that it’s been around forever. When I mentioned it to my wife she said she remembered it from when was a kid. So we went and here is my take. I love pizza. The pizza was great but over priced. We also shared a side salad and it was different but very good. We also shared a small order of spuds. They were good. Food and beer was great but overpriced for the environment. It’s a hole in the wall /dive bar. Nothing against that as I like those places but this this place it’s too run down and appears to have no reinvestment in the building for a long time, long, long, time. If the was better than maybe the price would have been worth it?

Drew! Sad to say she makes their good wait people look bad. She was called in to take over for a sick coworker. When I tried to pay the lunch bill she was in the hall talking to her husband and wouldn’t help find our waitress. Went in kitchen to find someone to help and was then told they were to busy to find out… when I finally went up to pay, Drew was telling other customers how rude I was. Love Cheryl and Ann… However if Drew is working I will be taking my group to another establishment.

My dad and his friends have been coming here for over 40 years! We come here for reunions all the time! All the family comes!!! I can’t say enough about this place! Always so great! The dinner salads… May sound simple… But they are delicious! Lots of cheese and great amount of dressing! The spuds chips are perfectly cooked too! Must try! And pizza! Can’t to wrong! We always have the pepperoni and something else! My mom loves getting the sandwiches Canadian bacon and those are great, and even perfect for leftovers! I love this place! I bring friends here From all over when they come to visit! And they are always wishing they could come and eat with us! PROPSTOSPUDS! My first 5 star
