The bowling alley was really cool and fun. The bad part? I ordered a play bread pepperoni pizza for my wife and son while we play. It was good pizza! 6 hours later I was in the bathroom with painful #2 and nausea. I was only skeptical about what it could have been. Until an hour later my wife was in the other bathroom with the same symptoms. It was horrible. Not sure what was wrong with the pizza but won’t be eating there again. I’ll go bowling though

We visited here on a week night for bowling and dinner. It was the worst service I’ve ever experienced. We waited for 38 min until we saw a server then it was another 30 min until the food showed up as we finished bowling. We order various typical bar food but they ran out of chips. They then put us in a side room to eat the food. The flavor of the food was good but they have been the fact that we waited over an hour. The manager did apologize and offer an additional discount and free bowling passes.

I’m disappointed in myself that I didn’t read these Unilocal reviews before I went to visit this place tonight. The good was that my niece who loves fish loved the giant fish everywhere. However, that is where the good ends. The service was just whatever but the food… what I said as I was signing my receipt for the food was«I could’ve had a V8». That was the honest to goodness truth. Who brings french fries to a table without offering ketchup? The coleslaw made my soul sick it was so gross. I’ve tasted better food in a hospital cafeteria. My 2 year old niece really enjoyed her lemon wedge though if that counts.

Pros: the milkshakes are yummy! The decoration is amazing! Cons: chips were stale! Nasty horrible! The Bahama mama I ordered was not good, tasted watered down with a hint of sweet. I paid 13+ crap… Annoyed!

Our food was as tasteful as a prison dinner. Service was… well, there really was no service. Great looking place inside though

Booked my son’s birthday party here — asked about military discount before booking & the Planner assured me that they honor military discount or 15% however after the party the server & mgr gave me a hard time about the discount stating that they do not offer that on party pkgs. Let the mgr know it was told to me by the planner that it was offered. Long story short they gave me a discount but it was not the full 15% off. The party package was 170.00 before discount and even after ordering additional pizzas they discount only $ 9 — how does that equate to 15% off of 170.00 plus $ 50.00 for pizzas!!! Will never go here again! They are highly disorganized, low staffed, have no dedicated party person as listed online in addition I had to bring in my own plates & forks!!! Do not go here for parties! Management & their staff need some more training on customer service not to mention they have only 1 person at the counter. Big fail!!!

This was my first time here. Pros: EPIC décor. Very detailed. Very thorough in keeping up with the ocean theme. Great atmosphere for bowling. The salsa was quite tasty actually. Cons: 1. The service and lack thereof especially right as it opened. 2. The quality of the food for the price charged. The«qeueso» dip aka cold Velveeta cheese in a bowl with 10 diced tomatoes in the middle. 3. The restrictions of eating at the lanes. Only Flatbread and pizza are allowed to be eaten at the lanes yet they have the full menu sitting at your bench.

The best thing about this place is how cool it looks, that’s about it. Our kids were so excited to finally go here and we show up on a night that KIA of Puyallup is doing a company party and they basically have the entire restaurant closed off to them with the exception of the side dining room :(We asked how long for a table for 8 and the hostess told us it’s so long she couldn’t really give us a time… Like she has no idea it could be a very long wait… so were like, what does that mean we should just leave? After a few minutes a manger comes out and says about an 8 minute wait? Were like OK either this hostess just didn’t want to be bothered with us or is clearly slow. My Caesar salad with grilled chicken was SO tiny and came on a flat rectangle like tiny serving platter. Too flat and small to even mix a salad on or toss, I asked for a bowl, she brought a tiny bowl the salad barely fit in. Just all bad when it comes to the food, even my soda was flat. The waitress(whose name I think was Joanne or something with a J) was awesome, friendly and accommodating. We were still kinda bummed on our way out that we didn’t get to bowl even though the KIA people’s party was pretty much over, only a few people were around it was about 10:30 pm. A guy who looked like a manager appeased my husband and allowed our group of then 13 people to bowl for free for the last 30 minutes that they were open. The kids were stoked! Nice way to end a bad night and a sad dinner experience.

Food is OK, nothing special. Over-priced. Service is terrible. Waitress forgot to order one of the meals. Then since she forgot asked if we still wanted it. The rest of us had out food before we found our about her error. Then they charged us for the food item we had to wait for. Most places offer to comp it or give you desert. Not this place. No one checked on us, had to flag her down to get the needed condiment. Overall, disappointing.

I reserved two lanes for my daughters 5th birthday and received top-notch customer service. We felt vip all the way. They pulled some awesome strings for us, including expanding the area of our party to accommodate elder people in our party. The ice cream cake was refrigerated until we were ready for it. No lighter? No problem. Trash was gathered and removed — pizza, nachos and other drinks kept coming. The staff was super helpful with the demands of a kid party, including generous setup and takedown time. This was Rebecca’s 2nd birthday party here, and it’s where she wants to come next year!

Bowling was awesome. Great place for the kids, plus you can win free games. how fabulous is that. Price is standard, but the atmosphere is pretty sweet. However, the food is terrible. Flatbread was ok, bit the chips and salsa… More like watery ketchup and chips. Noooooo good. But definitely come and bowl.

I tried to set up a birthday party reservation for my son but it was impossible to talk to anyone. They have a party planner that works 3 hours a day 3 days a week, whom I emailed and left a voice mail for a week later I still have not heard back. Her outgoing voice mail had not been updated since before thanksgiving. I had to go to the bowling alley just to talk to anyone about a reservation but by that time they were already booked for the day. They told us that we could go as soon as soon as they open and wait for an opening but no guarantee. Needless to say it’ll be a while before we attempt bowling there again

Okay… Should have read reviews before walking in. The WORST food ever! The server was great, but when the food is gross, it’s a NONONO don’t GO!!! I ordered the bourbon glazed salmon with veggies and mashed potato and it was the worst salmon dish I had ever eaten. The veggie consisted mainly of broccoli and some mushroom and onion, mostly broccoli thou which was cold and bland. The potato had good flavor, but was cold. The salmon, well, let’s just say they took it out of the freezer, microwaved it and threw it on the plate. It was disgusting. My husband ordered the fish sandwich and didn’t think much of it either. The best of the two meals was probably his French fries, warm and salty. Considering that bass pro shops is a nice place, the restaurant is a real disappointment. We won’t go back and will definitely not recommend. Especially since it’s not worth the $ you’re paying for the food.

Well, I agree with most Unilocal reviewers here. My side salad was brown old lettuce, it took 10+ minutes to come out because there was a «back up» in the kitchen. Once the swing door opened you could see 2 – 4 employees at any given time eating or on their phones. My fish tacos were cold and not very good. Service was below standard. The only reason I give two stars is for the fast refills on beverages. I will not return or recommend to friends.

Not much to choose from on the menu(variety). Service slow. Food is mediocre in comparison to other«like» establishments. Flavor… bland. Fries are actually the best part of the meal. 2 times here, nothing new to report.

Family of 5 for lunch! Pros: Waitress was friendly and attentive! Drinks came out fast, strawberry lemonade was AMAZING! Cons: Both orders of BBQ pulled pork was lukewarm at best, pretty dry too. Nachos we. Strange. Dry chips with cabbage??? There was some chunky cheese and beef, but no melted cheese at all. So dry and BLA! Pizza was pretty good! Nice flavor! Overall, a «whatever«experience. Food was mostly lame, place was loud and over crowded but not horrible.

I would not recommend going here to bowl or eat. The staff were surprisingly rude ranging from just flat out terse with me to actually walking away from me while I was mid sentence after asking me if I was being helped. I got half way through telling the woman in the Russel Wilson jersey what I needed when another employee approached her, handed her a receipt and the woman in the jersey just walked away. They only serve pizza on the lanes after 4 pm which I imagine is to allow the kitchen to focus more on the dining room. Our 12 dollar pizza may have been Red Baron brand or some other frozen brand of pizza. But pizza is like sex, even when it’s bad, it’s still good. The bowling shoes are tore up, probably since the lanes aren’t made out of real wood but some form of laminate. This isn’t a deal breaker for me though, it just gave the lanes more of a sticky feel to them unlike real bowling lanes. The highlight of the night was when I won a free hour of bowling by getting a strike at the right time. When I went up to figure out how to redeem my free game I ended up waiting about 15 minutes for them to wait for the one person who could initial the voucher. All in all, it was the rude staff which ruined the experience for us. We won’t be going back to cash in our free hour.

I read all the negative reviews and I literally thought man it can’t be that bad. I even went with the mindset that it’s a restaurant in a bowling alley that’s in a fishing shop. I assumed it wouldn’t be the best dining but at least as good as normal bowling alley food. The best part of the meal was the drinks. We ordered our bar drinks when we first got there, it took over ten minutes to get them. It took almost ten minutes for our server to come to the table and there was literally only two other tables in the restaurant at the time. The salad was literally the most disgusting thing I’ve ever had. I couldn’t tell if the lettuce was rotten or if the cheese was spoiled. The ranch dressing was awesome. The fish bowl platter I had seemed promising. The fries and shrimp were edible. The catfish and beer battered fish was not good. I mean the catfish was edible but gooey. The beer battered was absolutely the worst thing ever. It was gooey, undercooked, weird taste… horrible. My husband had pizza and it looked ok but the crust was undercooked and even the pizza tasted funny. To make it all worse the server we had was bad. The other two servers seemed fine but our server showed up rarely, didn’t ask how the food was, didn’t refill my water, didn’t offer us dessert, nothing… Maybe the worst service I’ve had. I really wanted to like it because it’s a cool looking place but the food was terrible. I wish they would revamp it and make it better. I did like the drink though. After eating there I don’t know if I would do it again. The quality and taste of the food made me wonder how clean the place is. I was little worried that I might get sick from the seafood but I didn’t. Please management, hire new staff, do quality checks on the food… especially the lettuce!!!

The food here was ok but the presentation was sloppy. My lunch companion thought his burger was quite good on the other hand. Let me also mention he eats his burger dry and well done. The ambiance was kind of cool, while we walked past it… they sat us in a big empty room by the backwall. Classy.

NONONONONO. In case you are still thinking about it NO. The décor is cool, but that is where it ends for me. The service was sketchy, the menu is very limited and not what I was hoping for at a bowling alley. Seriously the food should be DELICIOUS at that price. If you are going to serve me a $ 10 burger with fries it should be worthy of that price, and something I tell people to go try. I had a half rack of ribs and they tasted microwaved, and like they took them out of a package and dumped them on a plate and nuked it for 2 min. I was given ONE napkin which came wrapped around my fork and knife, by the way please give your customers a Steak knife with those ribs because they are tough and impossible to cut with the butter knife you provide. The fries were among the worse I have ever had. Bowling alley food is not supposed to be plated and garnished cuisine. Stop trying to be so pretentious and get some good olé friendly folks to work in there and dish up some great burgers and sandwiches and nachos etc. I would have expected square designer plates in many other venues but trust me when I tell you this is Bass Pro Shop people, and this nonsense is not going to be popular with the crowd of fisherman and hunters and good old boys and gals that are your main customers. I have been to MANY Bass Pro Shops and this one is by far the smallest one I have ever been in. Cabela’s has NOTHING to worry about.
