My first time here I must say, I was impressed. The ambiance is like that of a southern diner with a modern feel to it. As is Newks and your grandma’s house had a love child. Menu isn’t too crowded and like the namesake, chicken is the featured protein. Service is very fast and the food is great. Pefect amount of cream to to the soup and I finally found a place that doesn’t ejaculate mayo all over the fucking sandwich. I paid under 10 bucks for a half sandwich and soul and dined in. I came in on this locations anniversary did They even had free cake for customers. Check it out. I’ll be back for sure

I’ve been here twice and I’d consistently fresh and delicious. It’s like going to a ladies’ tea at a southern church where everyone knows what they are doing. The portions are large enough to be filling, but light and fresh enough that you don’t feel stuffed. Very clean, very cute. So much better in the soup and sandwich category than Panera or its ilk.

It’s pretty basic to me. I don’t see what the hub bub is about. I have the cranberry chicken salad and the original style chicken salad with fruit as my side. I’m not sure how they justify their prices when when I can buy a tub of chicken salad at my local grocer for the same price and throw almonds and dried cranberries in there if I want variety. The staff was nice and friendly. However when I asked about the nutritional value menu they said the information was on their website. It was not. On the site it says, coming soon or something of the sort. I was disappointed by that as I like to know what I am eating and how many calories are in what I am eating.

I had the soup and sandwich combo. The chicken tortilla soup was excellent, with a scoop of fresh sour cream on top. I wasn’t that impressed with the chicken salad sandwich though. The chicken salad here is mushy with no chunky pieces of chicken in it at all. It’s as if they put it in a food processor and didn’t take it out until it was almost like a paste. A weird side note as well, is that they don’t have onion to put on the sandwiches, and they can’t toast your bread either. For being a place that specializes in chicken salad and chicken salad sandwiches, you would expect they could invest 20 dollars for a toaster.

I love this place. If you like chicken salad, you need to come here. There are so many options and everyone can find one they like. The cashiers are always so nice, the restaurant is clean, and the food is great. I come here all the time with my boyfriend for a quick lunch.

This was my first time here and it was a good experience. They allowed me to sample a few chicken salad’s to see which one my palate would enjoy. I went with the Nutty Nana because it is the one which most resembles and taste similar to what I’ve had my whole life. I really liked it and their soup of the day(something with asparagus) was the and it was a healthy option. All in all, I will be back!

Very good selection of chicken salads. I’ve tried about 3 different kinds so far and I liked them all. The line during the lunch rush hour can be super long but if you can’t get there earlier then it’s still definitely worth the wait!

This may seem like too simple an idea for a place to eat. Surely some in a group might like to order something else? I agree with myself! They should have at least one alternative so more people can enjoy this lovely place. At least add an egg salad and one meat alternative. Their chicken salads are indeed excellent quality. It’s all shredded white chicken so you will get no chunks nor and knuckles etc as you will anywhere else. I have a few issues to mention tho: They have a dozen or more varieties of chicken salad but too many of them are nearly the same(several with apples and grapes or bacon and cheddar). I’d suggest offering fewer items that are too much the same. Shorten the list(it takes a long time to read thru the menu only to realize too many are much alike). Instead offer custom mixing or toppings or side dressing of many of the ingredients so I could for example order cranberry and grapes or apples and cheddar. The other issue is the great need for a permanent green salad. They offer a small side salad for the summer but green salad to add a scoop of ones fave chicken to should be on the menu. They have an excellent broccoli side salad. You can get 1,2,3 scoops of chicken salad, or a sandwich or soup or the two sides are pasta salad(sigh) or the broccoli(yum). But you will only see one leaf of lettuce under that chicken so eat a salad when you get home. Better yet they sell by the pound — take it home and serve with your own salad.

Wonderful meal! Had combo, salad, scoop of chicken and key lime pie. Will definitely be back! Next to Chipotle so hope they do well.
