The food was excellent and so was the service. At the end of our meal, we walked to our car and two of our wo does had been smashed. Unsafe !!! May need to put security in the parking lot

Wonderful experience. We were met with chips and salsa by our lovely waitress, Keisha(hope I am spelling her name right). Ordered a taco lunch special with a salad and the salad was beautiful and fresh. The tacos were perfect, also two for one delicious Bloody Marys. The service was delightful. We will certainly return.

Came in today since my husband is a US Army soldier and its Veterans Day. Chilis was one of the many restaurants offering a free meal to soldiers. We came in and the service as well as the food subpar. We sat in the bar area and the chips and salsa were kind of nasty. The chips were super oily and we had to request a second batch. I ordered a pick 3 app and it was disappointing. The food was luke warm and salty. I’ve had better experiences at Chilis, maybe it’s just this location.

*Dear Regional Manager* This places needs to be closed, renovated, and a new team put in place. Forty-five minutes for curb side take out implies a complete breakdown of organization. It is a running joke in the community that if you get arrested, at least you can still work at Chilis. Take some action before your brand is ruined by a rotten apple. Was dragged in here again by a group of foolish friends. The management team needs to changed so that the lounge is functional. The server Courtney was bright and cheery at least as she apologized for the lack of coordination with the kitchen.

This is the second time I have attempted to go have dinner at this Chili’s location. The first time, we were told to wait 15 minutes(when the restaurant was near empty) for a table and ended up waiting almost an hour by the time we decided to leave. Tonight, we decided to try it again. This time we got seated within 5 minutes and then waited more than 15 minutes for a server to come to our table at which point we decided to leave. Don’t waste your time visiting this restaurant.

Bottom Line: The«Glory Days» of this chain are in the past. With some effort, perhaps they’re in the future as well. Regardless, today is the nadir to those zenith’s of days… I’m CERTAIN this is not what Larry Levine(founder of Chili’s) envisioned his restaurant would become. Just to be surefooted, I went ahead and read every review for this Chili’s prior to putting this together. My instinct was that, surely — this couldn’t have been THAT bad. As such, I wanted to see if anyone had put something favorable together. Our server was very nice. It’s clear she’s an experienced Chili’s server and has the«Chili’s Act» down cold for the customary patrons. Very friendly — effervescent, even. We had a gift card that just hadn’t been used in the years since it was gifted to us. Truth be told, it was for Macaroni Grill AND Chili’s — and we were fans of Macaroni Grill(upscale Olive Garden, and somewhat close to home). Well — «as we all know», Brinker International finally let go of its minority interest in Macaroni Grill — leaving us effectively with a CHILI’S gift card. So, it was either redeem it in exchange for $ 50.00 worth of fare, or regift it. The coin toss spoke and we went to Chili’s. Orders were: Flatbread of some sort, southern smokehouse bacon burger, grilled cheese, and a grilled steak/lime shrimp fajita platter. Wife had Pino Grigio, I had Dos Equis. Neato! — Wife was brought two Pino Grigios — I was brought two Dos Equis. This coup wasn’t missed on me. I suspect it’s good business to soften the diners in advance. Salsa was, I suspect, entry-level Sysco salsa(I’m not demeaning Sysco, I just suspect they have a «good/better/best» scale and this was the«good» one…). Chips, as noted in a previous review, were over-salted. As well, they were lard-laden and thin to boot. The entrees arrived — and I noticed 1. my shrimp were translucent(i.e., not sufficiently cooked) and 2. my grilled steak was in the form of chicken. I don’t have anything against Chicken, but I ordered the steak. The runner didn’t miss a beat and told me he’d handle it. It was handled. This is the sort of oversight that can happen. The undercooked shrimp, on the other hand — not good. One can’t really mess up a grilled cheese. Wife’s flatbread was non-descript(comparatively, the good people at Crisper’s make a decidedly good flatbread), daughter’ southern smokehouse bacon burger was fine. Regarding cleanliness. The pathway to the restrooms had two towel mops on the floor, and several paper napkins laid around. The handle to the men’s room felt as lard-greased as the chips themselves. It’s probably no coincidence that, as with Red Robin, Chili’s has opted to invest in table-top wizardry to process the bill upon exiting. Here, the kids can play games and then when the grown-ups are ready to head out, they can convert the game into a cash register. With this being part of an MNC, I thought I’d go check out the parent website: . If anyone up at Corporate is reading this, update the graphic next to your«Give a Brinker Giftcard»(I don’t think you guys own«Macaroni Grill» or «On the Border» anymore…). Also, consider what I wrote above as constructive criticism. I’m confident you can balance«driving shareholder value» with«maintaining quality». Finally — I remember when Chili’s was awesome! Get back to being that!

I miss the Chili’s of the past where most of the food was made in house and there was a real focus on service. The food tastes very much like it is shipped to the store pre-marinated and they grill or heat it up there. Sauces had that preservative taste and even my chicken was excessively tender with a strange margarita marinade flavor. Service is very impersonal with an electronic device on the table that takes a lot of the interaction out of the service, and with those at your table if you choose to play games. Paying your bill is all done through that device. Once you tell your server that you are«good», you never see them again. I doubt I will be back, which is a shame as I was a fan for years.

I will never get to-go from this location again! I placed my order by phone. When I arrived, the to-go desk had a sign that said«Please see the bartender for all to-go orders». I went to the bar, and waited around 15 minutes for the bartender. I told her I had a to-go order; she immediately went to ask the manager if there was a to-go person on duty. She told me the to-go person was packing up my order and would meet me at to-go. I went to to-go and waited an additional 10 minutes for her to show up. I had ordered 2 full orders of Texas Cheese Fries. What I got were two pitiful half orders with almost no cheese, but tons of uncooked jalapeños. If you want Chili’s in Tallahassee, spend extra time and gas to go to the Thomasville Road location. This Chili’s is horrible!

The manager(not sure if manager, but should be, older man) was the only one actually working that night I went in on Saturday… the servers/hosts walked right past us even after knowing we were standing waiting to be seated for at least 2 minutes… the manager had to come and seat us finally… our server was terrible… she came back 20 minutes later with our drinks… then we ordered and then ate and then she came back only once more… she did not even explain the little electronic machine thing… it was our first time eating at Chilis… I feel bad for the manager because he has to work with those terrible servers/hosts…

I went with my girlfriend over the weekend. The waitress was sweet, but the food was not good at all. Everything tasted as microwaved food. I ordered ribs with mash potatoes, I can’t really tell what was worst. And for appetizer I bought some Cheese stick, I don’t even wanna go there. It was a really bad experience. Never again.

The decibel level at the warehouse I work at, with all heavy machinery running full tilt is between 70 and 75 decibels. The decibel level at the lounge at this Chili’s was between 80 and 85 decibels. What is wrong with this picture? I describe places like Chili’s as sit down fast food. The food is greasy, uninspiring, and tasteless. I came here tonight because my wife had a coupon for a free kid’s meal. Dining out is supposed to be an enjoyable experience. Hard to enjoy dinner when you have to scream just to have yourself heard in a conversation. It’s also not fun when you are put into a booth where I had to have my legs tucked underneath my seat, because if I stretched them at all I would be kicking the person across from me. And I am an average size person at 5’9″ and 165 pounds. I’m not fat, and in fact consider myself rather skinny. But sitting for over an hour in a cramped booth, with people and TV’s screaming louder and louder as the meal wore on was not enjoyable. Sadly, this was a Monday night. We go out on Monday nights to avoid crowds and find a nice quiet place to have dinner at. Do you seriously think I’m going to return to this place? When we left there were so many people waiting for a table that you could not get through the crowd. Unbelievable forgetful experience, to say the least.

So this Chili’s basically was my source of food while I was in Tally due to the close proximity of where I was staying. Yes, it takes forever to get attention and the place is never fully packed– at least not at dinner time. To-go counter works decently but you will have to wait for your food. The time ranges from 10 – 25 minutes. You might as well eat there at that point. The staff is friendly though even if the food is meh and the overall service isn’t great. The prices are a bit much for what you get so eh. Glad I don’t have to visit this chain for a long time…

Where do I even begin? Yes this is a Chili’s so I shouldn’t expect much to begin with but it is still a working business that receives plenty of clientele. It took over 5 minutes to be greeted and seated in the early hours of dinner when there were maybe 10 other guests in the building… It took the server a very long time to greet our table, get our drinks, and come back to take our order. The server was not attentive at all, nor were they friendly. We were seated near the kitchen so I also got to see how everyone else in the restaurant worked. It was very sad. Maybe ONE employee was doing their job while the rest were talking to each other and texting on their phones. Even the managers that I saw were standing around! I heard plenty of inappropriate comments made toward one another. The food came out and it was bland and cold which could have easily been fixed, but the whole vibe of the restaurant was just off and a mess. I go in to this location very often and I usually have the same experience, but lately it has been worse and worse. I don’t know if this location needs new management or new employees but they need some sort of help because it’s an awful experience. I can only imagine that the employees take some sort of abuse from others or management above them because its obvious that none of them want to work properly nor do they enjoy their job. There is no order or sense of a team. I write this mainly to address the management and staff of this location. I understand that Tallahassee is sometimes a difficult town to work in and enjoy the company of your clients but for the sake of the good ones, take your jobs seriously. It’s disgusting to see how all of you work. If not, then find a new job and management can hire people who care and can actually appreciate the immediate money they are making. Good luck to you all and all of the managers in charge because I’m sure you all need some guidance and help for yourselves. Sincerely, Chili’s customer and a server just like some of you

Pretty much the same as the other chain’s of Chili’s. Food was the same and the menu seemed all the same. One thing that I did not like was the service. It took for ever to receive attention at this establishment. But in Tallahassee there aren’t that many options for Chili’s so what are you going to do! Overall it was ok. Though it can be tricky leaving the parking lot and getting back on Appalachee!

I don’t need to go to Chili’s again. Their chips are good but oversalted. I had a coupon for free con quaso dip and it was overpriced at free. Instead of white, it looked an unappitizing brown — and tasted worse than it looked. For lunch we decided on the 2 for $ 20 special — 1 appitizer The fried cheese did not taste like cheese or look like it. The inside of the thick, soggy crust was a white shredded cardboard type substance. It was not ooie, gooie and stretchy like fried cheese should be. Cajun pasta was not flavorful or creamy. Son’s sandwhich was ok but the fries were not good. Yep, I don’t need to return to this Chili’s. There was a bad oder when we walked in which should have been a warning!
